Performance Automotive is fantastic. I had a great experience with Walt and Melissa. Highly recommended!I was buying a used car remotely and called Performance Automotive to do the pre-purchase inspection. His price was reasonable, and he sounded very knowledgeable. The dealer dropped off the car the next day, and Walt called me less than an hour later. He told me not to buy the car under any circumstances, and gave me a list of problems with it to justify the decision. He was also very polite and understanding when the dealer did not pick up the car quickly enough and needed to be reminded.Walt is extremely professional, and a nice guy, too. He said that since he figured out the answer for me after a very short test drive and barely looking at it, without going through the full inspection, he didn't even charge me. Wow! I insisted on paying, at least something, and he did not want to take payment. He was happy to help, and he even offered I can call him for advice during my used car search, even if the car I find is nowhere near his shop. Wow again!If only all auto mechanics were as trustworthy and professional as Performance Automotive!

This is the second review I have written on this business, the first one I gave was taken down for some strange reason. I am asking Yelp to NOT take this one down. This is NOT a fake review and I am a real live person who did business with this company. I took my car into Walt in March 2020. (Chrysler 300C) The car had been in dire straits since December, needing a new computer. I had the car at the dealer from Jan to March with the dealer "attempting to fix the problem" with no luck. I got one story after another, was treated poorly at the dealer, 0 customer service and finally upon the recommendation of a friend, had my car towed into Walt's repair shop. I had been told by the dealer the car was NOT repairable, as the after- market computers they had ordered were not working. I was beyond upset and frustrated, not only by the poor service I received, but the fact I was out a car. For months!! From the day the car went into Walt's shop, Walt was very interactive with me, explained the situation as he saw it and made his recommendations for repair to the car. I honestly did not think it could be fixed, judging from what everyone else had been telling me. Walt went over the car, called me to let me know what he had found, ordered the parts and proceeded to repair a car that everyone was telling me could NOT be fixed! He was fast, thorough, and just completely made my day when he called to say it was fixed! I was overjoyed. Try going without a car for 3 months and then tell me how great it was. Because it wasnt. And he had it fixed it no time. I highly recommend this shop for any car repairs you may need. Walt is honest, knowledgeable and now I won't take my car anywhere else but to him. I am completely floored that the actual manufacturer could NOT fix this problem, but Walt did! He made a believer out of me. Great job!! Thank you...

A friend of mine turned me on to PA back in 2013 & I've been going there ever since. We have two vehicles & we take them to PA twice a year for regular service. I have been fully satisfied with Walt & his staff. They do excellent work for a fairly reasonable fee. I would & have recommended them to several others & I will recommend them to you.

On my way to work in the morning of 2/3/20 I started to notice something was not right with my car, as I was getting off the freeway my tire blew. I slow down right away and roll my way to the closed shop I could find. luckily Performance Automotive, I believe the owner Walt Van was the one who helped me, letting me borrow a jack and a impact gun to remove the flat and install my spare! Thank you so much Performance Automotive for your very kind gesture this morning!
