I arrived at 9:10am and store had not opened at the listed time of 9:00am. When the owner arrived at 9:25 I expressed my disappointment and was greeted with an angry sarcastic comment “so what is your problem”. I knew this business was not for me and left immediately.I went to Southside Vacuum just up the street next to the Goodwill where I got immediate professional service.

Repair tech did a good job cleaning my vacumn ~ but a negative aspect to this business is the cigarette smell that permeates the whole building!

Really bummed as I really liked the older fellow I spoke with. Brought in my Dyson, paid $69.00, and told it was fixed. Got it home and still doesn't work, brought in again, told it was fine, got home and still doesn't work. Big waste of time and money. Really disappointed.

I receive the kindest, sweetest, very professional, most generous, and very knowledgeable service, everytime. I even drive from a different city just to purchase vacuum cleaner bags from him. He's fantastic!

My mother brought in her carpet cleaner to replace the seam. Gary replaced the part in less than five minutes. He is fast, efficient and very affordable. I also noticed the place smelled clean and takes the time to sanitize the place. Gary is friendly, courteous and ensures his customers are completely satisfied. We will be coming back for future repairs.

This guy can take an abused, overworked 22 year old embroidery machine and make her sing like the day she was built...and at a REASONABLE RATE...He also saved/repaired/rebuilt my 20 year old BabyLoc...My seriously abused toys are now back in working order...without breaking my budget...

Please see my review for Southside Vacuum... My wife brought our vacuum here in the past and was treated very poorly after they failed to repair the unit correctly; they basically called her a liar. Arrogant, rude, unprofessional. If you want it done right, please go to Southside Vacuum at 2221 McHenry Avenue, Suite L, Modesto, California.

I took a small hand held Bissell vacuum in to have a new belt put on it in March. Finally had a phone call that it was ready to be picked up in June. Went to use it for the first time last weekend to vacuum my trunk out. Belt wasn't connected correctly, just flapping. I took it back this morning and was yelled at by the owner when I told him that the belt was no connected. I said I should of asked to have him show me that it worked after the repair. He asked for my receipt and I said I paid cash and that I didn't have a receipt but before I could show him my phone with the call I had telling me it was ready to be picked up he started yelling at me. I said I didn't appreciate being yelled at and he stomped out of the showroom to a back room and wouldn't come back to talk with me. The website states masks, he wasn't wearing one.

My wife and I have grown tired of buying the trash vacs from Target/Walmart/Amazon. We have purchased the $39 special and the $399 "premium" vacuum, and feel the results were the same. On our way to target for our 9th vacuum in 22 years, we decided to stop in to see what an actual vacuum store would have. We were greeted promptly by a friendly gentleman named Gary. After a few minutes of listening to what my wife really was looking to accomplish with this new vacuum, he pointed us into the direction of the Riccar Titan canister vacuum. I put it together that night and vacuumed the whole house with our old one and then back over it with the new one. It was amazing to see and feel the difference! I will gladly return for anything vacuum related. Shoot, I might even take up sewing....
