Bought my car 3 years ago and the sales representative was awesome. Never had issues every time I called or went in person. My 2020 Mazda 3 started to say it has an airbag system malfunction so I called to see if they can fix that since it's a serious issue. It is not a wear and tear situation yet they're are charging me $185 just to inspect it since I do not have warranty for it. I know cars are going to fail but an airbag malfunction? I personally think this should be fixed no questions asked without charge.

To be honest, I have not purchased a car from here. However, I do come here for Mazda parts. I live in Contra Costa County & I have look for dealer parts all over the Bay Area, East Bay & all the way down to Tracy. I must say this dealership has the most reasonable price out of all the dealerships. Even though its far from my house, if I need any parts from my Mazda, I always come here. Employees are very nice & polite, and I'm assuming their maintenance service is also reasonably priced. If you're looking to get OEM auto parts, I definitely recommend this place. If you need maintenance or looking to purchase a Mazda, I will say you should give this place a try. There is a good chance that you will be happy with the service & price. I give it 4 stars because there is always room for improvement.

I had the pleasure of buying my first car at Modesto Mazda yesterday and I cannot say enough good things about my experience. First I arrived earlier in the day to test drive some SUVs I was paired up with JD who was super friendly and made me feel comfortable as I was sharing with him that this was my first big purchase and it was an intimidating process! He assured me that they wanted what was best for me and would never push me to get something I didn't want. I came back later that day with my fiancé to show him the car I was in love with. He agreed it was perfect and we decided we'd like to see if we could get approved for the car, this time working with Abraham. Abraham was professional, made us both feel comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure we got the car we wanted. Abraham could tell I was overwhelmed and helped reassure me he was going to do everything he could to get the best deal. He worked with Vance to help get us an amazing interest rate and include all the extra warranties and bells and whistles you could ever imagine for a great price. At this point it was way over the time Mazda had closed, I know these guys had to be tired but Vance took over to go through paperwork with us and you could truly tell he didn't care how late it was, he just wanted me to have the car of my dreams! Finally it was all said and done! Abraham had my new car washed and cleaned and ready for me to go! I am a new proud owner of a Mazda CX-5 and it probably wouldn't have happened had it not been for all 3 of these amazing employees, JD, Abraham and Vance! Thank you all for making my first car buying experience so incredible!

the absolute worst experience of my ife. everyone who works here has their head up their you know what's. i went to have my car fixed, they didn't have the parts, they didn't know the price, they changed my tranny fluid without asking and charged me and the manager is a disrispecful thumbtack. i called to make a complaint and he hung up on me

Abraham operates on dishonesty and unless you are a customer in front of him, he will disregard you. My husband and I went to look at vehicles Saturday during the Memorial weekend. After discussing finances, we were ready to purchase a vehicle Sunday. On Sunday, Abraham sent a pre-approval application link and we filled out immediately. We waited a couple of hours and did not hear back. We drove over to Mazda while being in the area to check in and Abraham said that they are working with the banks and may need to call them the following morning but that he found the vehicle I wanted and was initiating a dealer transfer for the vehicle to arrive Monday (the very next day). Monday morning comes and goes so we call and Abraham says they are slammed but are working in between customers to make this happen for us and he says he will call back with updates. He never calls back so we decided to call again. He says that the finance manager is trying to find us the best financing deal and he will call us in the morning with an update. We received no call. I called and spoke with someone else who passed on the message to call us back. We receive a call back from Tony who said that they didn't even have the car nor was credit run. I explained to him that what he is saying is the opposite of what Abraham is saying. He seems to get frustrated with us and asks what we want to do as if we were holding up the deal. Despite telling the manager the blatant lies from his salesperson, the accountability was not there. My husband and I ended up going to Tracy Mazda where they had my vehicle readily available and were kind, honest, and efficient. I suggest if you choose Modesto Mazda, go with Carmen. She has good communication and follow-through. 1. Just because a customer is not physically there, that does not mean they go on the back burner - still communicate!2. If you are as short-staffed as you say you are, then say you have not had an opportunity to work on the deal, but when you have a full-staff, you will complete the deal for them.3. Be honest and kind.

Abraham was nice and made the new car buying experience easy! Called a few days prior to schedule a test drive, showed up and didn't wait too long at all to get in a vehicle. Due to the financing aspect of getting a car we probably spent around 2 hours going through paperwork and choosing options/warranties but it was easy breazy and an enjoyable process.

The experience at Modesto Mazda was excellent! I've been going here regularly to service my CX-5 and have received nothing but great service from Malachi and the service team. When it came time to get a new CX-30 for my mom I thought of no other place. Abraham from sales was patient and answered all our questions. Tony from finance was quick and efficient with the paperwork and got us out of there in no time. Very happy with the overall experience!
