I HAVE KNOWN SPARKY AND LORI FOR YEARS. WE MET THEM AT THE ROCK CHURCH YEARS BACK, AND I CAN TELL THAT SPARKIE IS A VERY UPFRONT PERSON. HE CAN FIX ANYTHING. HE ONLY HIRES MEN THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AS WELL.A SECOND PLUS IN MY BOOK IS THAT HE DOES NOT CHARGE AN ARM AND A LEG.Services: Transmission

This is a pretty awesome place. When my 75 yr old mom said she had found a new macanic, I was a little worried. Especially when she said they were honest. She wanted me to pick her up while they looked at her car. They had the car for about 3 hrs. When we got there, I waited in the car. A few mins later, the mechanic came out to my car, and that's when I expected him to say all kinds of things needed to be fixed. I'm not normally wrong, but if I am, I'd admit it. I was wrong about this place. He was friendly and honest. Any shop that doesn't take advance of a 75 yr old woman is awesome in my book. Btw, they were reasonably priced, and they did a great job.

My truck suddenly just stopped while driving it. We live out of town and we didn't know who to get! My daughter-inlaw highly recommend j&l. It turned out the best decision for us ! We live in Hollister can! If we need a mechanic we will drive the hour&half to his shop! He's that good and very fair! Thank You Sparkle! Perry Hunt!

Blind Spot Monitor repaired for $400.00. Get the lane change warning to work correctly. Modesto Toyota quote was $3500, for a new wire harness. Don't always need new parts to fix things. $190.00 for finding out issue. You paying for the fancy building at Modesto Toyota and the free coffee (Nothing is FREE).Works perfect.Sparky a pro as is his staff. In and out in one day.Great Auto Shop...do not come here unless you want respect and keep your money in your wallet.
