Oct '24 - my 1st visit. The place was clean. I liked how the circuit was situated. You could see the timer at every machine. The employees seemed nice. I felt comfortable there.

Good gym to go to. Weight room is one of the biggest in Modesto. Gets pretty crowded in peak hours around 5pm -8 pm. Would recommend to go before those hours

lots of things to do, lots of weight machines and exercise machines, free weights, etc. Pool, hot tub, games. Great atmosphere and friendly employees.

My daughter and I enjoy doing our morning work out here. They don't supply towels, and they're always out of handsoap or paper towels in the restroom.

In-Shape seems to have gone downhill. Half the treadmills don't work correctly. The kids play area smells terrible and they don't clean the floors, there's dust bunnies all over. If they do clean the floors you can tell it was dirty water cuz you can see the dirt streaks on the floor. And I'm sure a gym bathroom is rarely going to smell great but it's really bad. It's so smelly and the trash is always full. I just wish I was getting better quality out of the gym I pay for.

newly renovation! prices went up but reasonable rates new massage chairs for recovery but you need to make reservations.

The Prescott location is amazing. Friendly staff at the door, awesome classes with teachers who make sure everyone is involved and having fun. Perfect schedules for my lifestyle. I love everything about this place

I attend here regularly. Best in shape in Modesto hands down. As a maintenance tech.1 thing that I see that can improve. Is setting PMs on machinery. The pulley machines do need to be lubricated weekly and or every other week with A Simple wd-40 spray. with its constant use every day all day. There are a couple machines that are not as smooth as others. Also dumbbell’s do need to be tightened as a pm monthly and or check for loose bolts weekly. Mostly every-time I use them bolts are not tightened.not all of them but there are a few. I finger tighten them and it’s fine but god forbid someone uses them and doesnt recognized it can be a big injury. Not sure if these are PMs(preventative maintenance)that are already set. If they are it’s not getting done properly. My reason for leaving 4 stars instead of 5

I am very concerned about the Steam room. The members take water from the pool and pour it on the electrical unit to make more steam and to increase the heat. Water especially treated water does not belong on electrical devices. Its dangerous! Plus they come in fully dressed in their street clothes with shoes in both the steam room and the sauna. This is not sanitary. Something needs to be done about the ongoing problem.
