Took my xterra in after taking it to the Nissan dealership for a different service code. Big difference in the way they communicate what is wrong with your car and find a less expensive solution first, saving you money. Isabella was good at getting details when I dropped it off for service. She kept me up to date on what the tech had discovered and asked if parts were still under warranty to see if they could be replaced under warranty. Unfortunately, I bought it used, so I did not have warranty info. They then recommended the less expensive fix and informed me that if the code returned, then the costly fix may be needed, which was a replacement of the out of warranty parts. Compared to the dealer where tech called and gave me details on what they found was the issue but only recommended the most expensive fix. I made the mistake and hung up and could not get their service department to call back or answer so I could ask if there was a cheaper fix for now. So, my experience with Import Automotive repair was excellent, and I recommended them simply because they communicate details on the issue. Along with the technical service and details on what was discovered.

Royally screwed me over, not once but twice. Got my alternator changed from here but it showed signs at the dash and died after a week. They changed it under warranty but the signs remain. I took it to another shop, they told me it was the alternator, that it was overcharging and not functioning properly so took it back to this shop. They told me they will change the alternator under warranty but signs have nothing to do with it. So they agreed to do a free diagnostic on it. After a month of “intensive” diagnostic they told me they can’t find the problem and it has something to do with dashboard. So then I again I take it back to another shop who replaced the alternator for another $500 with literally a better brand and the signs went away instantly and its functional totally normal now. While they were at it they found out the valve covers that this shop installed less than 200 miles ago and charged me $1200 for it is also leaking. So now I have to get that fixed again. I am so disappointed with this shop that I don’t even wanna take it back to them for the valve cover leak. Stay away if you can.

Definitely recommend. As a woman that doesn't know a lot about car stuff, they definitely let me know exactly what needed to be done with my car without trying to push for any other "additional stuff". Great service! Will def come back.

I would definitely recommend this place, went for an oil change and a new radiator they were so kind and quality of service was par none. Be careful if you bring your Honda here and ask for one of the maintenance checks because the price they give you apparently doesn't include everything like other shops do. Tim gave me a really good deal on a B14 service ($450), which is well below the going rate because he told me he wanted a return customer. I was charged for a "B" service of $340.83 for labor, then these costs were added which are normally part of the B14 service: 4 spark plugs at 19.99 each (79.96); new air and cabin filters at 29.99 each, even though he (Damian) told me there was no charge for those (I had just had them replaced at Mistlin Honda 6 months ago but the mechanic here said they were dirty); a drive belt for 52.99 (even though I told him it was replaced last summer at Mistlin Honda, but according to the mechanic it looked dry); plus the cost of the oil and drain plug for 44.19. My $450 quote ended up being $597.95 before tax. Maybe I should not have assumed that $450 for a B14 service would actually be $450... Nevertheless, I won't be returning.
