The female staff member at the cash register around 12:15 made me and my wife feel like we were bothering her. No smile no eye contact I think it was because we interacted her on her phone. We spent several hundred dollars there. I will be going back to the Manteca store next time.

I normally enjoy shopping at Harbor Freight. Yesterday, I went in to get a pressure washer and a few other things. The pressure washer was on sale along with other items. When I got to the register, I was asked for my phone number. No problem, I shop there a couple of times a year. Since I didn't have a membership, I would have to pay full price. It's not happening, but I could come back at the end of the week and get the sale prices. I found the manager and district manager. Was told that this was a corporate decision to have a paid membership. I told them they just lost a sale, and they just said they were sorry. I found it interesting that they could stand there and watch a lost sale going out the door. Ok that's my rant...

Yay for their having opened a store much closer to my home. Great place just to explore, but I often need just a tool or device to finish a project without needing a dozen of something or big name brand tool.

Extremely friendly staff the manager and assistant manager are very helpful. Store is stocked and very clean. I would and do highly recommend this store and the one on carpenter.

Went to the new one on Oakdale Road I believe it is not as big as the one downtown got in there got what I wanted and got out no worries no hassle the way I like it

If you need cheap but dependable tools this is the place. Harbor freight also offers a selection of other products as well to cover home improvement projects, outdoor hobbies, camping and hunting they have a little bit of it all at great prices. Speaking of great prices if you purchase a yearly membership you save even more!This particular location has just open in May of 2023 and I must say it’s one of the nicest stores I’ve seen yet after previously visiting all the others in the area. Besides the bright fresh atmosphere the service is fantastic the management is friendly and and knowledgeable along with the staff and are courteous and eager to help.I am very pleased Harbor Freight has opened in this neighborhood it’s a very convenient site.

The smell of new fixtures fills the air just before going into a very nice vestibule. A great staff in place and a manager I wish nothing but success! Great job, HFT!

They pretty much whatever u need. Some is decent some is one use only. Their new icon brand tools seem to be pretty top notch.

Shiny new Harbor Freight with friendly, cheerful staff.If you're not familiar with Harbor Freight, it sells discount tools and tool-adjacent products. When you're looking for an affordable starter set for an adult child moving out on their own, or a tool you need urgently but won't put through a lot of stress, or replacements for some category of item that you use to death quickly, HF is fan-effing-tastic. (Their tool quality has also generally improved; obvs, read tool reviews, but they are worth a look.) We went to the soft opening with nothing in mind other than celebrating that there's finally a store near us (we'd been spending a lot of time and cash at the one in Ceres), and walked out with our arms loaded with goodies that we just happened to remember we needed.This location is next to Big Lots and kind of across the street from Strand Ace Hardware, so between the three, you can probably knock off an entire home renovation project on a budget. Location means there is generous parking.
