I rented a truck to downsize my mother. Enterprise only gave me one key. Which was lost and we called roadside assistance. I was told they couldn't help. We were far from a metropolitan area. Plus it being a Saturday made things worse. We had to call a locksmith and pay out of pocket for a replacement key. Which was a 1000. and finished at 2:30 am Sunday. Then coming home Sunday the truck broke down halfway home. I called roadside assistance again. This time they did set up a tow, but for the next day. We had to find a place to stay for the night. Which we did. I started getting calls at 7:00am Monday for our tow. Brooke from Enterprise was wonderful to deal with. Very apologetic about everything. She arranged for the rental to be towed to my house. So that we could unload it. She said that we could take the time needed to unload. Once we finished, to let her know. Then schedule it to be towed and repaired. There was no pressure to unload quickly. I never felt that Enterprise blamed me for any of the problems I was having. The following day, I reached out to Brooke about the final amount due. Brooke was very fair and I was very pleased with the final bill. I would definitely rent from Enterprise Truck Rental in Modesto or anywhere else due to service we recieved from Brooke. Thank you very much for turning around a bad weekend,to a pleasant experience.Nancy Clayton

This place has some amazing staff. But the cars are pretty beat up. Went got a rental, warning lights coming on, tires needing air, seatbelt is not functioning right, When getting a rental you expect it to be in great driving conditions...Had to go back so they can check it out... they gave me a different car. But both cars had stains on seats and well not very clean. But through it all the staff helped me and gave me a ride to and from the body shop, and did there best to accommodate and help with my needs.

wow i wasnt sure and had lots of doubts about renting a car nor was ever informed they hold alot of money and then proceed to talk you into extra insurance then when calling to extend the rental i was told the manager that asked me to call him directly is gone for the week and needed to extend the rental the young lady i spoke to was going to charge my card again my first thought is no dont want to charged twice for the same day i would call back today but never gotta chance my bad but there is an option on the phone when you call to leave a message with the attendant but come to find out the is no attendant and hangs up on you. the manager should have never offered to call him when he wouldnt be there.

Great customer service met my expectation. I reserved a midsize suv online about 6 weeks ahead of time befor the Labor Day weekend to go Las Vegas was well worth it.

Got a car rental last minute cause our car had to go to the shop and Steve was a great help! My Dad appreciated him too because his first language isn't English but Steve really broke everything down and explained each step for us and helped us get the best deal in such a short amount of time. We will definitely be back!

After the misfortune of our vehicle breaking down on Christmas Eve while we were 100 miles away from home and the disappointing treatment we received at the Turlock, CA location, we went to this Enterprise location when a corporate representative transfered our rental reservation. While trying to pick up the vehicle for a second time I was informed that the reservation transfer wasn't made for a one way rental to the city we live in. Instead it was made so that we would have to drop off the vehicle at the same location we picked it up. This wouldn't help us as we needed it to get back home. As anyone may be able to relate, I was already going through the stress of having to deal with our bad luck on Christmas Eve which then turned into frustration after the treatment we received which only grew with the botched reservation transfer. Yes I was upset and was being vocal about it. However, Steve at this location maintained his composure, patiently heard what I had to say, and maintained his professionalism. Instead of talking to me in a condescending, antagonizing, and dismissive manner like they did in Turlock, he offered an alternate resolution. He explained that the vehicle I initially reserved wasn't available but that he would be able to reserve a smaller vehicle to get us home. It wasn't a larger vehicle but it was definitely a solution that helped me. THANK YOU STEVE!

So I've had to have a rental car for 1 month. I received a call from staff to renew my car rental agreement. During this conversation I mentioned the maintenance needed soon was showing up. The staff was informing me I can come in Saturday and I said oh I can't I'm working. The staff then stated, "eww gross." I didn't say anything because I was being professional but clearly the staff at Enterprise aren't professional at all!! I'm not stooping low to their standards!

zero star. please do not go here they keep charging my card every month as a charge/fee. this has been going on since march 2021. now why would i keep getting charged if i have not used this service since?????? dishonest/ shady people here at this location. i will be posting proof as to show they have been charging me a few months. i will be calling my bank and disputing the charge for the 3rd time. this is getting out of hand.

I originally had a rental reservation at Turlock Enterprise. But they tried to give me a compact suv. After i had rented a full size. I ended up having to get my reservation transferred to Modesto 7th st and Natalie did an amazing job in accommodating us with a full size SUV with no problem! She went above and beyond to get us our rental made sure it was big enough to transfer all of our daughters wedding supplies and to be able to have enough seating for all of us. I appreciate Natalie so much for helping us and taking the huge stress off of us that day!!!

Renters beware! Unfortunately, my son left his wallet in the pocket behind the front seat. He realized it approx one hour after we dropped the car off. He raced over there and the wallet had mysteriously disappeared. Yes, we realize Enterprise is not liable. This just means they employ dishonest people. Also, we filled the gas tank to approximately the same level as when it was dropped off. They charged us for 6 gallons of gas. Ridiculous!
