I recently visit this store to buy cough medicine. As I approached the counter to pay the clerk was having a lady open her purse so she could check it. You could see how embarrassed the lady was.Finding nothing the mean spirited clerk turned to us. She told me the medicine would be $18. I told her the sign said was $11. She asked me for my phone number. She stated we were not listed and had to pay full price. I haven't met anybody so mean spirited.I think stores like this deserve to go out business

The worst pharmacy staff in existence. Unfortunately they are very unfriendly and not willing to help. They will hold favors and make people behind you go ahead of you. The white lady that's the clerk always has an attitude.

They will lie to you and tell you that your medication isn't in stock , until you complain in person , then it magically appears in their inventory

Pharmacy closed for lunch 1:30-2. They didn’t back until. 2:15 then had to unlock everything. Cvs should teach these guys how to read their own signs bad customer service.

Employees love to be extremely difficult and blame it on their boss. The place is slow and dirty don't waste your time going to this old cvs it's trash.

The pharmacy staff in this store on McHenry Avenue are horrible. They will not pick up or answer calls. I called for several hours and waited so long for them to answer with no avail. When somebody finally picks the call, they have no patience to listen and they will drop the phone abruptly on you. If you care for yourself service or medication to a different company. Usually I’m very patient but I’ve had enough experience with them, not worth the energy any longer. I even called back to speak with the manager and someone picked up the phone and dropped. No respect for their customer. It’s a nightmare.

Do not shop here for groceries.If an item can spoil, it will be spoiled. If the item can be damaged, it will be damaged. Often the freezers are broken, the store stinks, and the shelves are empty. When the shelves have product on them, it's damaged.I bought Ghirardelli chocolates (more than one package), which all had good dates, but when I got home they were spoiled. Clearly they had been stored in a hot environment, where they were close to melted, then re-solidified. They were completely inedible. Don't waste your time or money.I cannot imagine the non-grocery items would have been kept in a more responsible way. Steer clear of this store.

This CVS store is too warm to shop in. The AC has been out of service for a very long time. There are NO carts available. Untill these two major problems are corredted, I will NOT shop there. Unfortunate.

The hours are wrong !! I paid for a ride after work to pick up my package , called & were told they are open till 12. This is false ! I'm very angry I needed to pick up my UPS package ! Update your hours

Recently had Covid and needed the 5 day antiviral medication. The CVS at 2601 Oakdale Road pharmacy people were friendly and patient and supplied us with the necessary medication. Now to get well.

Cashier was a very nice lady, had a customer talking to her and her manager repeatedly interrupted causing the line to form. When she asked the customer to repeat herself because she couldn’t hear because he was talking, he came over and stuck his finger in her ear and said “listen with both ears”. I’m deeply disgusted by this behavior in 2022. This is harassment. He needs to be fired.
