This location is the best hope chest, friendly volunteer staff and good prices. Cheaper than other thrift stores and good finds.

The best deals are only available if you have a friend who works here. Stopped by and saw customers being let out through the back with collectable books and other items. Not worth visiting this place if decent items are quickly being taken off the sales floor.

We brought my dad home from the hospital on hospice with Community Hospice. Before dad was home, we had everything we needed to keep him comfortable. If we had a question or needed a nurse to come out, all we had to do is call the triage line any time day or night and they were always there for dad and my family. Dad went home to be with the Lord almost a month ago and even today, Community Hospice calls periodically to check in on us. The staff, nurses and clergy are exceptional. If you need hospice for a loved one, I highly recommend Community Hospice. God bless these folks for their care and compassion.

This is a very good place to get cheap books. Paperback books are 50¢ each, and hardback books are $1 each, I believe. On a certain day of the week, all books are 25¢ each. It is a very good deal when comparing retail and even ebooks. If you look through their selection, then you can find some really great books.I also like this store to shop for work pants. They have tons of slacks in all kinds of sizes, styles, and colors. I found 3 pants in my size. One of them needed to have the buttons fixed, but it was a quick fix. They are good quality and the price is very low compared to retail stores. They also have nice boots, but none of them were in my size.People need to realize that this is a thrift store, so not every item will be good quality. But, if you look through what they have, you will likely find something good. They keep their store moderately organized. The book section was a mess. There just isn't enough room for all those books. It's a good store overall!

Just cruising by and was drawn in with a 50% off sign? And it was! Cool second hand store that was packed both with goods and people. I wish I had more time to go through the whole thing slower but not today. The service was busy for sure being half off everything. Last words...saved for another day.

This organization is so loving and helpful. My husband is in care right now. The nurses and Caregivers are wo derful and loving and all so well trained. We have only known these angels for a week, but I don't think I could have ever taken care of my husband at home without their help. I felt like I could do this, but it is the hardest thing I have ever tried to do. I thank God for this organization. It has made all the difference in my husbands last days and literally saved me as well. DIANE AND JOHN COX

I am super irritated that this is the second time the Hope Chest has been picky about what they chose to accept as donations. I am not donating poor quality items. The items are in great to excellent shape. My first experience with them as far as donations was when I needed a couch to be picked up. I heard they would pick up items. When I called they gave me the third degree and acted like it had to be brand new for them to pick it up. My couch was perfectly fine to donate and the family who received it was more than happy. Because in the end, I told Hope Chest to just forget it! They obviously didn't want my donation. Well, today I called ahead of time and the person I talked to said, "Make sure you don't have a truck load of donations right before closing!" She didn't say anything about them not accepting toys of any kind. I would not have wasted a trip. I also agree with some of the other posts, their prices are pretty high for a thrift store. Yes, sometimes the manager will work with you. But I don't like to haggle. I would rather just see a good/fair price, pick it up and take it home. I also wish they would have student/teacher discount day like some of the other thrift stores have. It would be nice. :)

I stopped by to drop off some items this week and browse around. I was shocked at their prices! I understand that they are short on volunteers and need to pay salaries, but the household items I was interested in could be purchased brand new for less. Very disappointed...not planning to go back which is sad, I always wanted to support what I believed to be a good cause.

It is a bigger store than what we have in the foothills, they had so many wonderful things. A tad pricey for me, but everything is these days, !! and it goes towards the best cause ever. Go there, you won't regret it.
