My wife walked into the McHenry Chase bank in Modesto needed to wire some money a big amount. I’m a pretty big amount and somehow the girl cannot get it right and sent it to the wrong number. Long story short money was sent back to our account which prolong what we had going on, horrible horrible

I needed to fax some documents in to validate a new business account. I worked primarily with Deja and the issue was resolved in an efficient and pleasant manner. So far I would recommend this branch.

Trash staffs. Pretty lazy. I had scheduled a meeting to add my wife onto my account. Nancy called me asking if I said that I needed an hour to add someone onto an account. She wanted me to reschedule, so they could take me off as they were "busy", but in reality they wanted to just drop another customer off their long list of scheduled customers so they can ease up their Friday. I told them I will look to reschedule hung up and 20 seconds recalled them to agree to just meet up and they said, oh it's too late as they already booked another customer. They tried to jave me reschedule to Wednesday, yet I'm going into the military, so I can't even do that. I spoke to her manager, Nikki, who was somewhat helpful, but wanted to reschedule the appointment later on in the day, which I found unfair due to me being busy later on in the day. So now I'm stuck with meeting later on in day instead of going out of town to visit my family and friends before I go to Sacramento to get shipped off.

Horrible customer service I had a injury and was in hospitalIt was time to go home I went to pay some bills they made a d*** error with Fraud alert I told them that made a mistakeThey told me to close the account I gave them my new account number at my other bankI came in in person they still wouldn't not give me my moneyI am disabled they demanded I come in I did they still are keeping my moneyThey prevented vme from moving vwhile COVID was rising in ModestoBecause of this they caused me to get COVID and now I have respiratory failure and heart injury and blood clot in my legPlease boycott this branch and othersMaybe set up a help me fund do not use this branch I am a senior DD z

I'd give them zero stars if it was a option. I went to deposit cash in the drive thru atm machine on 11/09. The machine said it wasn't taking cash deposits after I inserted the cash and it didn't give me back my cash. I went inside the branch and explained what happened and I had to call the 800 # to dispute the transaction. It shouldn't take 10days to figure out the machine has extra cash in it and it belongs to people's account. I'm frustrated because now I have a negative balance and overdraft fees that I have to call another 800 number to dispute the overdraft fees. This is a headache and I should havy money already!!

This Chase branch takes the cake for being the worst branch I've visited. Two weeks ago I had one of the inside atm's eat a 1,700$ deposit. No big deal they put the money back in my account while they confirmed the claim was accurate after waiting on hold with customer service for 44 minutes. The following week (last week) I went to make a deposit. When I drove up there were 5 people waiting in line for one outside atm (the other atm next to it was not working). So I drove around to the drive through and that atm was not working. I parked and went inside where one of the two atm's inside were not working. Out of 5 atm's at this branch only two of them were working. This morning I went through the drive through atm and sure enough the atm was not working. Who is supposed to be managing this branch?

My son had an issue with Zelle, he’s young inexperienced and in need of some guidance. He went to this branch and they didn’t take the time to sit with him and explain the process. From the line where he was waiting he was informed to leave and call online banking. What is the purpose of having a branch? The Employees at this location lack customer service and show zero interest to help their customers. What a shame! You do realize that you work for JP Morgan Chase? You do realize you have a job because of your customers? Looks like you need to go back to Customer Service 101 on boarding and do your job right or look for another profession. I never take the time to write these reviews but today I called the branch I asked for help I explained the situation I explained it was for my son… the response from the employee was let me connect you to customer service online banking it didn’t take her more than a second to forward my call I waited and waited for someone to pick up from online banking there was nothing but radio silence and the call was disconnected. To the managing team at the McHenry location take time to train your employees if you are not putting your customers first do you have a big problem.

It never fails every time I come into the Mchenry branch in Modesto the service is awful. I recently came in and tried to use my Apple Pay on my phone to access my account at there atm and unfortunately the system was down at this location. So I go to the teller and they say to grab my ID so I can make a deposit well my husband has my ID because we're in the process of buying a home so I show them my expired ID and my husband sends me my current ID and the branch manager Rebecca informs me they cannot use my information. This is why my savings is with BBVA because they are fast and get the job done! I don't understand why chase went through the hassle of verifying all my information addresses, phone number accounts only to turn away my large deposit. Yes, you read that correct my deposit I was not requesting cash I was giving chase money. With that being said Rebecca wasted my time I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

Don't bank with chase they don't help you with fraud. They don't care if someone is stealing your money.

I had a scheduled appointment for Saturday at 1:30pm to open a business checking account. My partners from my LLC live out of California so it was incredibly difficult to plan this out. We ended up leaving our papers at home on the way there so we called ahead to make sure it was good to go about 15 mins late. The lady on the phone said it was good to come and she will still take us. We ended up getting there about 20-25 mins late due to traffic but we were told we could still be seen and it was not a big deal. Lastly, when we were waiting to be seen by Jessica. She came over and told us that she could not see us because the appointment would run into another persons appointment and hour later.. this was very upsetting seeing how we would have never went all the way if we knew we couldn't be seen. When asking Jessica why she couldn't tell us, she said, "I assumed you guys were 5 mins away". This is a terrible assumption. The bank was unable to have anyone else see us and told us to kick rocks even though I had an appointment. It is now unfortunate that we have to go to a different bank multiple months out now. I recommend scheduling appointments at quite literally any other bank in town.
