I purchased a 2020 Dodge Ram 2500 last year for over $70,000 from Central Valley Automotive. It now has 11,000 mile, the engine shut down while driving it and the truck will not start. I had it towed to Central Valley Automotive on Sunday. I talk to them on Monday and they said they will not look at it for 1 to 2 weeks. That is horrible customer service for someone that purchased a $70,000 vehicle from them directly that SHOULD NOT be having engine issues. Also, do not purchase their lifetime oil change plan. You cannot make a specific appointment with them and you have to leave the truck all day long for an oil change. They like to upcharge you on things like fuel filters since there is no money made on the oil change.

This is our 3rd car we have purchased here, 2 used and 1 new, they stand the same on their commitments weather it's a used car or new one, very committed to their customer service and standing behind the vehicle they sell you, Sheriff was our sales person last time and William was our sales person this time, can't say enough about the good service we received, Brenda was our finance manager, she is very knowledgeable and offered services without being so pushy you want to leave, I really appreciated that, the GM is very honest, friendly and appreciates your business. I will continue to purchase vehicles here as our family and friends needs them. Highly recommend.

We recently purchased a new to us 2018 ram Laramie from William at Central Valley automotive. Very nice store to do business with. William provided information in response to our questions no pressure very helpful. Due to a mixup in paperwork on our part central valley automotive went the extra mile and delivered the vehicle to us in the Sacramento area. We would definitely recommend central valley automotive to our friends and family.

Went and bought a used car from this dealership yesterday. Customer service was great, Maurice helped us out and he was very kind and knowledgeable about all the cars that they had on the lot. I was happy with my purchase however the car I had gotten was not serviced at all. Had to get oil change and replace all air filters, plus have to perform transmission flush in a month or so. Overall customer service was great, but need to put more effort into their used cars.

I've had two very sub par experiences dealing with central valley automotive dodge.. my 1st.. I left my car overnight because the tires they ordered we're not in yet. When I return to pick my car up it was in the dirt parking lot with the windows and sunroof open... I did not leave my sunroof and windows down.. That dirt parking lot had dirt all inside my car and they did not even offer to wash or detail it until I complained.. My second experience, again ordering some tires, they ordered the wrong set did not even bother to look at the service history to see the past tires they had ordered so I had to return a week later.. after speaking to the service manager Adam, he assured me that he was going to order the right tires. The tires came in and I was The first customer on a Saturday morning, they took my car back at 7:50 am... I reminded them that I had to be to work at 9:30 AM and they assured me that it would only take 30 to 45 minutes... at 9:10am I was notified that again they ordered the wrong tires and they had to order them from somewhere in San Leandro... Adam did give me a loaner car off the lot to use until Monday when he said the tires would be in... on Monday the tires did not come in until after 4 PM while I was at work so Tuesday morning I went to go get my car... they did not offer me a discount for the inconvenience, they even charge me for a $10 keychain that I wanted... and lastly once again they had my car sitting in their dirt lot and when I picked it up they did not even offer to wash or detail it... keep in mind two separate times they ordered the wrong set of tires, they made me late to work on that Saturday morning and they did not even offer me a T-shirt, keychain or discount for my inconvenience.. all employees were very standoffish and "a matter of fact" about the situation having no empathy or compassion for making me late to work or causing inconvenience and not valuing my time.. These people are very inconsiderate, and very unprofessional... The only reason why I feel forced to use their services is because I purchased a brand new Dodge Challenger.. but I might have to go to Stockton or Tracey from now on to get service.. OK, I decided to give them another opportunity. Once again my side mirror was busted off and I had to order a new one. Only the glass was broken I told the guy at the counter, he ordered new glass but did not even get out from behind his desk to go look at the car. I specifically asked him "don't you want to go look at it first" and he declined. So when the part arrived a few days later I go to have it installed and another guy tells me I need a whole new assembly, not just the mirror. So now they have to order a whole new assembly and I have to wait three more days... instead of them doing their job and getting up from behind the desk and doing it properly they are very cavalier and nonchalant, not only that they never refunded me my money for the original glass that I ordered... I'm DONE

I can't say enough good about Central Valley Automotive, Greg my sales representative and how I was treated when purchasing my new 2018 Elantra. This was the best purchasing experience I've ever had. The only thing I can compare it to is a "red carpet" treatment everyone was friendly, things went very smoothly and it was an experience that I won't forget. Thank you Greg! The staff does their best to help people but we purchased a used car from the Volkswagen location and realized as soon as we drove off the lot that there was a minor crack in the windshield which had to be repaired. Too late. So a month later our son got a flat tire and we had to take it for replacement. It happens, you get a screw or nail and it has to be replaced, but no. The tires all had to be replaced because they were not the legal size for the car. So we contacted Central Valley Automotive who assured us they would cover the expense and after dodging our calls and giving us the run around for months, we has to file a lawsuit which resulted in immediate action to rectify the situation. I will never shop here again and I am looking for a new car.
