I really like Cardenas for the variety of products and fruit but it's been 2 to 4 times that I've been on my lunch break and there are no people in the kitchen. It took them 20 minutes to serve me. They take a long time serving me and there was only one person there and very Slow and the food portions were very little. I ordered a Shrimp, Rice and Beans Plate and they only gave me 7 shrimp.

I've never had any complaints when I go here (usually weekends). It's pretty clean, the prices are decent, and the flowers are always nice to see because of their freshness for a low price. I've tried their cakes and I loved them. I've gotten a couple of groceries and they weren't as expensive as other stores. So, I do rate it 5 stars. The only thing I do get bothered by are the rails in the exit and entrance because they can be confusing sometimes.

We bought a 3 leches cake and when we broke it it didn't look or taste like tres leches. It was very dry, despite having asked them to make sure it felt wet, because we had bought one on another occasion and it was just as dry. And although they put extra wet on the receipt, it was of no use!!!?

The items are kind of pricey and the cashier's attitude is kind of diva, no helping at all, I rather drive the extra mile to get what I need.
