Was told that insurance is mandatory to buy to rent the truck I called budget truck rentals around the area and they all said it’s optional the person here is shady and is taking peoples money I can’t believe budget is allowing this to happen truck was also dirty inside the cab and inside the back I had to clean it out myself , and when I informed the storage place that it was dirty I was offered an “oh” no sorry or anything , very ridiculous.

Even though pricing is a key factor it must include customer service to allow For customer retention. Both Jeanece and Robbie are at top of their game when it comes to customer service. I strongly recommend it!

RUDE! This was the most unprofessional business In the history of businesses. When we arrived, we were approached by a lady who came out of the office area, without even greeting me and started advising me to social distance and that they practice social distancing here at the property. The biggest thing I noticed about her, besides her bad attitude & unprofessionalism, was that she did not have a mask on while speaking to me. Really lady?? So, you're going to speak to me without a mask on (very close to me), and talk about social distancing? You can't pick and choose what Budget Truck policy you feel like following today and then preach to me about social distancing when you're not even wearing a mask. When I advised her to put on a mask because that would be a great start to our conversation and I would feel more comfortable, she made a grumbling noise under her breath, shaking her head and headed to the back office to put on a mask. She then yelled to her coworker to put on their mask (which they were already wearing). She then proceeds to the truck rental outside with my husband who wants to make sure and video the entire process, and which she basically did not want to allow. He finished his that video. She then proceeded to look around the entire truck which was in great condition and then came back to accuse us of putting a crack in the windshield. I then pulled out the existing contract with the location that I originally rented from and showed her in big bold letters that there was already a crack in the windshield as she can see marked with a G for a glass on her dealer copy that I originally gave her. After several minutes, she finally found it on her copy and didn't even apologize. She then proceeded to check us out of our rental truck but not before she asked how much did we pay for this truck rental? I told her the amount and then she went on and on about how much more expensive budget truck rental is at her location as opposed to where we rented from. TMI lady. Thanks. Nope. Don't do business here.

We reserve a lift-gate truck for a very important mater and this front desk rent it out because some other party came in and said he thought it was us and rent it to them and there's nothing he can do. "Really there nothing he can do and not like he did it on purpose and while I waited to my staff to come in he did the same thing with another person can in, he came in and he automatic assuming it was someone else reservation, he need to be retrain

I needed a 15 to 17 foot truck to bring back my daughters stuff from college in Rohnert Park to Modesto. I started to rent the truck one way from a major competitor but the day before the day I needed it I got a call which told me there are no trucks up here to rent oneway. So I called Budget Truck Rental on Pelendale in Modesto. They had a truck for me to use to drive from Modesto to Rohernet Park and back to Modesto. Janice was so nice and accommodating for my needs. It was actually cheaper for me to rent the truck here than renting one up in Rohnert Park for a one way rental. So I was able to rent my truck do my thing and return the truck all in one day. I would highly recommend Budget Truck Rentals on Pelendale for any of your moving needs. The service was exceptional and fast.

Rented a 26" from glendale CA moving to turlock. Had so many issues with the truck that I had to stop a few times and drove 50 Mph all the way from glendale to turlock.check engine went on and noises were coming off the truck.really bad experience. I talked to thr guys in modesto office when returning the truck, but they didnt even took a note of it. Nice guy working there but they could at least give me a credit or something for that hassle

Make sure your fuel tank his way past the line. They charge your first born baby for a gallon of gas. We tented in Arizona and they didn't say that. Do a little hassle to return. Lady was nice tho.
