This place right here..... IS THE BEST PLACE for all your formal wear and wedding attire. I was a Maid of Honor at my friend's wedding in Chicago. They took really good care of me and making sure I would match the other girls in the wedding party. The color, alterations and they rushed to solve an issue with the dress and helped me make changes when the groom got angry. (it was a same sex wedding and he was a groomzillia...long story). They will be my 1st stop whenever I need a gown. Trust me you can loose with this group. Excellent Customer Service!!

Terrible business. If you like getting ripped off and receiving wrong dresses, this is the place for you.

Was my first time here and I was very happy to get the style of dress I was looking for. Amazing, fun and joyful atmosphere loved it. The store also offer alterations. Highly recommend.

This store is absolutely gorgeous. It’s well maintained and clean. Our salesperson Elsie did a good job hearing my requests, although she did lack all enthusiasm and social skills-she barely spoke to us. We asked very few questions, order time, store layout etc, and that was about the extent of our conversation. You can tell she had years of experience in this industry, as well as reading people, because it took her two suggestions to find the dress of my dreams. I was in love and ready to buy, but the girlfriends I was with wanted to go to lunch and talk about it. I’m glad I did because I would have made the wrong decision. The beautiful dress I chose at Bianca’s was $3600. Out of curiosity we called a few other shops and they sold the exact same dress for $1899. That’s a pretty big jump. I am a professional salesman and I wouldn’t have been able to stomach having given her that sale with her attitude of disdain toward us. I’ve worked in bridal and sales for years, that dress had to be $800. I don’t mind paying more to support local business, but that’s a steep jump, especially when our salesperson was everything but eager to help us. Her shortness with us upon arriving set the tone of her frustration immediately. I was so excited to shop here, I’ve shopped in McHenry Village all my life, but I will definitely not be returning to this store, despite their gorgeous selection. ?

I had a terrible experience here with my mom. We were shopping for a mother of the bride dress. It was a couple months before the wedding and my family had suffered a few serious health events and setbacks, so we didn’t have a lot of time to shop outside the Modesto area. We went to Bianca’s because it has been in business for so long. We found a dress quickly but my mom had concerns with the fit, the bust in particular was far too large. We were told it could be altered. Measurements were taken and we were scheduled to return in 6 weeks (which was cutting it close for the wedding date). At the next fitting it was obvious no alterations had been made. I called the manager and let her know. On the third fitting a week later, the bust had still not been altered and we were told it couldn’t be because of the boning. We left with the dress, due to the strict no return policy, and my mom was upset, uncomfortable, and stressed. The wedding was out of state so when we got there, two days before the wedding, we went to a local bridal shop and it was wonderful. The saleswoman listened to the situation, found my mom the perfect dress, gave us a discount, and sent us to a seamstress who was able to make adjustments literally overnight. This was true customer service and the experience any mother of the bride deserves. Btw, the cost of the new dress and alterations was half the price of the one from Bianca’s. I’m happy to say my mom was comfortable and looked beautiful in her new, well fitted dress for the wedding day. That said, she is now stuck with an unworn, $700, off the rack, poorly altered dress from Bianca’s. The “alterations” cost an additional $200 btw. $900 is a lot to pay for such a poor product and experience. We have since been told by several local seamstresses that the bust of the dress is easily altered and not a problem. It’s too bad we didn’t have the time to deal with this before the wedding because clearly an independent seamstress could have provided better skill and service than those at Bianca’s.I really don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews for small businesses but this was a truly terrible experience, and I don’t expect management or the owners to care. So I’m leaving this here as a warning. Please make the effort and drive to Sacramento or SF if you want a positive experience in preparation for your big day.Bianca’s should take the unworn dress back and provide a full refund but I know they won’t. I should have known better when I saw the strict “no returns” policy on the sales contract. There was a time when supporting a local valley business meant excellent and thoughtful service. Unfortunately this is no longer the case at Bianca’s. What a shame.
