Andrew C. at Auto Zone #4432 on McHenry Ave was not only friendly & helpful, he was smart & incredibly efficient at discovering that my regular headlights weren't working because I very well may have a faulty high beam floor switch. Who would have thought of that? (Not me). He sold me that part and after I changed it out, my headlights worked. I had been "stranded" in Modesto because of my non-working headlights, but Andrew C's quick thinking solved my problem with an $18 part! At one point, I had gone back into the store to thank him and to let him know that the part he sold me fixed the issue, but he was very busy working alone at the counter so, I didn't want to interrupt him. I was only passing through the Modesto area & it was already dark. Because of him, I was able start my drive home the next morning while it was still dark & made it in time to pick my kids up from school 330 miles away! Thank you for your amazing help Andrew C! You are such a smart, helpful & caring young man!

the people here were great they were absolutely fantastic I think their names were can't don't and won't because that's all they said they were very unprofessional and unknowledgeable and didn't know what their warranty stated or what I was entitled to even I wouldn't recommend the store to anybody and even though I have the right part they try to convince me that I have the wrong part and that's wrong and that's wrong even the manager clearly see they were trying to convince me that it was a long part in fact did and now I realize I have the right part and it's all a big shenanigans shenanigans they're just in it for themselves they don't care about the customer valley care about it's not giving any refund. When you take a book and read the actual warranty policy they do the exact opposite of what it says a perfect example is if they don't have something in stock they should just give you a refund instead they want to cheat and bullshit you and lie to you

On 8/18 went in to return a battery and in all the years I’ve been going to auto parts stores, I have never been so disrespected as I was by josia I think he said his name was. Told me they couldn’t return it because it was used.
Totally was being nasty about it saying it should be common sense. Like are you serious? It’s an auto parts store. Things get returned. Had the battery for two days. It was in new condition. My other half was with me and he began to yell at us about it when she asked him to explain it.
Just said he wasn’t returning it. No actual reason given. As odd as this is, we had zero issue returning it at another location. None. Called corporate and never got a call back. This is exactly why I’ve been a customer of orileys for decades, and why I’ll never shop at AutoZone again. Orileys has never treated me this way. No value to ur customers.
We were going to buy another item for a vehicle, but went to orileys instead. This isn’t how you treat ur customers. Completely disgusting. Worst part is he’s supposedly a manager. Low expectations I guess.

I was very disappointed on the commercial side because after I bought apart, they told me to go to another store and went to that store and it wasn’t even the right store and when I called to correct them, they keep ignoring my phone calls and hanging up on me. Wanted to tell them to pay for the gas all the way to another store very bad customer service

Autozone on McHenry in Modesto made switching the battery easy. Andrew C. Was really nice installing it for me and although it was an easy procedure, Andrew wasn't condescending. He taught me how to do it and even provided some facts about the history and evolution of cars in general. I offered him a tip and he refused. It was a pleasurable experience from start to finish!

Leonardo and Luis were super helpful, I needed to get the terminal off the post on my battery, they found a product in the store that when it sprayed on the terminal, the acid part turns pink, they showed me how it worked and help me get The terminal free

Walked in and was greeted and quickly helped by a young man named josue not sure if thats the correct way to spell his name but he has great customer service was in and out very quickly thanks to him.
