The mechanics and all the staff here are wonderful people. I didn't have money and I was originally afraid that my transmission was bad and they told me my transmission runs strong and good and test drove with me. One mechanic from a shop close to them that I went maybe 3 days ago said I had a leaking transmission but I found out at A & G that I didn't. A & G are honest and they saved me around $500 that another place was trying to get. In the future when I have money and need transmission work, this is the shop I want to go to, because I trust them and they're nice people

The guys down at A&g are the best I had them rebuild a th400 for my 74 gmc Sierra they did an amazing job. I drove my truck across country hauling about 10k amazing work and great staff working there.Service: Transmission

After doing a bunch of online research, A&G was one of the 3 shops I decided to contact to get a quote for a clutch job. They were the first shop I contacted, and honestly, after speaking with Vern on the phone, I decided to move forward with them without even contacting the other shops. Vern was great, he listened to my concerns, provided options, and made me feel like this was the right place to have this work done. The shop had about a 2 week backlog of work until I was able to get my car in, but you know how that goes; lke a good restaurant, good shops usually have a wait-list. Since the car was still operational, it was no issue. Once the job was complete and we went to pick the car up, there was an issue that caused some damage to one of my well-worn tires. I immediately returned to the shop and the owner, Gene, was amazing. He felt bad for the inconvenience and went WAY above and beyond to make it right. I told him it was fine if they wanted to replace the tire with a used tire but he wasn't having any of that. He not only replaced that tire with a new one, he replaced BOTH rear tires, without hesitation or issue. He didn't charge me a penny for this. I was truly impressed with the level of service and care they showed to me as a customer. If you or your family is looking for a trustworthy and reputable shop that will do what it takes to make it right with their customers, definitely visit A&G.

I ended up fixing my own car but this dude was more than nice he also referred me to another service because of my time constraints . The other company wouldn't help so I called him back and he put me on the calendar he was courteous and professional if I do have transmission issues again I will be going here

Fantastic, they rebuilt my '77 C20 transmission, replaced all 3 u-joints, starter / flywheel & exhaust leak for a reasonable price. I highly recommend, Vern was great to work with on scheduling / price / work completion. Now the rig rolls smooth like butter! Conveniently located too.My boss also had her truck transmission rebuilt here as well, she originally recommended this place to me - after checking online reviews and BBB (A+) I felt comfortable taking my truck here and wasn't let down. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Brought my car in thinking I needed a new transmission they did some tests and found the problem was not the transmission but something else. There was no charge and they told me how I could fix it. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
