“Dr. Margolis is a very caring and extremely knowledgeable vet. I have been taking my dogs to him for years and he has been amazing in diagnosing, providing care and following up after care. He is extremely thorough and has taken the time to relate to my dogs, by getting down on the floor with them, to ease their anxiety! Impressive! He has always been willing to help even when I had simple questions or concerns! Very impressive!! Thank you, Dr. Margolis and your staff for your continuing dedication to the animals you take care of.”
“The staff were super nice. Especially the ones who greet you when you come in. We were seen immediately and they found what was wrong and gave us the right medication for our little one. Cost is a bit high but I'm glad he's feeling and getting better.”

“This place is awesome , got my girl Harper from Carma and she had diarrhea when i got her home from stress they took her right in and gave her iv fluids and anti diarrhea meds at no charge. I have contined to take her here for shots and even boarded her when i went out of town . She was healthy and happy when i picked her up. They are all loving and compassionate to the animals”
“Decided to go here as they had more of a family vibe that I'm used to going. And no, not because they have family in their name, although that is kind of interesting and unique too. Unless things are really dire, which they usually aren't, the Vets here take on a more conservative approach. Just like at your human doctor, even tho it seems unsure, not everything is an emergency, and if it is, your pet belongs at the emergency hospital, not your regular vet.
You could choose to go a different route and order excessive tests for your peace of mind, despite the Vets here not seeing the urgency. And mind you, they've had education, they've gone thru training, they've had trials. They've seen so much worse... and so I appreciate that they have a cool head on and can be realistic and logistical.
14 years of cat ownership with hundreds in-between for tnr and cat rescue with 2 handfuls at home now. And with this vet and the one prior in anaheim, not one lost from negligence. No intentional delusion or malice. Good honest people who will suggest this and that and reinforce a necessity here and there but aren't pushy or black and white with all or nothing attitude.”
“Our cat Zoey was attacked by a coyote, and a local emergency vet hospital that evaluated/stabilized her in the middle night recommended Dr. Gunderson. Dr. Gunderson and her staff at Muirlands were amazing! After taking Zoey in as an emergency client, suturing her wounds, etc., she provided ongoing guidance in follow up visits for the past two weeks, giving me instructions, proper meds, etc. so I could care for Zoey at home without needing to send her to an animal hospital for a long stay. Probably the best vet experience I've ever had...their quality care and support are the reasons my cat (and I!) survived her traumatic injuries! Thank you Dr. Gunderson and Staff!”

“I have to Thank Portola Plaza Vet hospital for their very kind service to us. I did not have a regular Vet when it came time needed to put our sweet 14yr old cat to sleep. After other Vets quoted me very high prices and not liking the fact that our cat wasn’t a patient of theirs. Portola took us, no demands to meet, were kind, understanding and showed us great compassion. They arranged to get us in when we needed, on short notice and their services were very affordable.

“If you are looking for a Veterinarian in Southern Orange County look no further. Dr. Farhtash’s exceptional service, professionalism, and wisdom is worth flying for. After having a beautiful golden with normal issues, Cyrus has shown genuine care and follow through on all issues. I do not feel comfortable taking our beloved golden anywhere but this location in Mission Viejo. If I could rate this any higher I would. Great staff, great recommendations, and genuine care. What more could you ask for while taking your beloved pet for a check in or illness.”
“I have been going to Jeronimo Pet Clinic for over 30 years and they are the best. Their care is excellent and pricing is low compared to other Veterinary hospitals. Dr. Weintraub provides great care, but Lisa, the receptionist, has been there for 20+ years and will always ensure that if a laundry list of care is needed, she will prioritize it for us. They always work with us on pricing and give the best care. If you are looking for a great Vet with reasonable fees, Jeronimo is the place to go.”
