I would say the cleanliness of the store was about a 3.5, the sizes that they had in stock we're not very good and the service I would give a solid 1.5 or maybe a two so I rounded up. I really expected better service but there was a little bit of banter back-and-forth with the sales person on. They can't keep all the sizes in stock and we send a lot of stuff back. Overall, I found the service so bad that I don't plan on going back again and now that I know my size I'll just order online .

Tommy Bahama Mission Viejo feedback:I called customer service and was forwarded to the store. Sam was great, I was able to place my order and allowed me to use a $50 flipside that technically expired on 6/18.

I have been shopping at the Tommy Bahamas store in Mission Viejo for many years. Sam has always treated me very professionally and treats me with respect every time I go there. Sam always takes his time and shows me the new items and of course the ones on sale also. I look forward to visiting with Sam when I go to the store.

It is always a pleasure dealing with Tommy Bahama. Many companies sell good products. But TB provides service second to none. Have a Q? Call them. A human being answers the phone.. little or no wait. Whoever you speak with is knowledgeable…is pleasant..is efficient. And they stand behind their product. If it’s the wrong size.. if it doesn’t turn out to be what you expected…Return it.. no hassle. There are few if any companies that will treat you like TB. I could not recommend them more highly. A class organization from top to bottom.

I have been a customer of TB for a number years and a witness to their goal of excellency In delivering both quality of garments as well as service. Their grade of products speaks for itself and is second to none in their category of merchandising men’s sportswear. You will witness their commitment to service as you enter their stores and engage an assistant. In my purchase the representative pointed out a number of details that I had not considered l; for example, a pull over long sleeve garment with a quarter front zipper was also reversible. We like the style and colors used and their quality used to be good, so paying ridiculously expensive prices for clothes made in China was ok until recently. We bought mens shirts and they disintegrated from under the arms after 3 washings and the shorts ripped after one use. This has happened within the last 2 years of purchasing clothing. Their quality has become so bad its not worth buying their clothes anymore. Specially with the prices so high. I don't mind paying more for quality.

We walked into Tommy Bahama, Mission Viejo around 5:00 p.m. on July 16, 2022. I was carrying a bag with items I was to return and exchange. Soon after walking in and looking at what I would be exchanging for, I realized I was being followed and watched. I did not give it too much attention until I realized the rest of the staff in the store was doing the same thing. I continued until I had picked what I wanted and proceeded to do my return and exchange.Being watched like some type of thief was extremely insulting, completely unacceptable, and unwarranted. To make things worse, there was an older woman there, the oldest of the group who was very abrasive while handling the return. Minutes after the return was processed, she approached me and with bad intonation and body language told me that the discount cards had been canceled, and immediately walked away.After that, as my wife was looking for items to purchase, she was very explicit to tell one of the crew to make sure the discount cards were canceled and made sure I heard it. I was at a listening distance.After my wife purchased her items and I purchased my item, as we walked away, the lady made sure to ask the gentleman who cashed us out if the cards had been canceled to which he replied, "yes, I made sure they were canceled". Now, what is the need of all of that and that type of badgering? Furthermore, could it not have been done after we left or handled in a more professional manner?Profiling a customer, to then further belittle that customer with that type of behavior is something that no one should have to experience.I have reached out to corporate, not customer service, and hope they are able to look into this and hopefully retrain their staff to provide a better experience at the Mission Viejo store.Must add; have visited the Brea store numerous times, and the experience at that store has always been very inviting, professional and helpful.
