I've been coming to this store for over a year. It's generally clean and has a great selection for the size. However, my complaint is the checkout process. For the past 6 months whenever I go to self checkout the lane is out of bags and I have to go find them myself. For the past month I've noticed that 2-3 of the self checkout lanes are closed yet there are zero check lanes open. Cashiers are the face of the store and the only employee I see regularly is the asset protections guy. Does this store even have a manager? I've never seen them. Please do better.

This store is tiny. It's the size of a grocery store yet they tried to fit what a normal Target has in this space which means the aisles are tight and they didn't even have what I came for. I wanted a box of 32 cans of cat food and they don't sell it. So now I have to go out of my way to a normal sized Target to get what I came here for. The location is near my work, but I won't be coming again.

For such a small store, they have the slowest drive up order service. I've tried this location multiple times and each time it's taken more than 15 minutes to receive my order. I've even gone so far as to walk in the store to retrieve my items because the wait was so long. Avoid their drive up service.

As a lover a target this one did not meet target standards. The entire store lacks many very basic products that should be at a target. Not only that but all the departments were organized horribly. It looks like it wasn't planned out very thoroughly. The only reason I can imagine myself going is if I wanted a quick stop at a restroom or get food that I can get much cheaper elsewhere. Avoid this target and go to the next closest one.

I know that self-checkout is a thing now, but this is the first store I've been that only has self-checkout.

Every time I come in they have exactly what I need. Customer service is great! Prices are always very fair.

This Target is literally the size of a shoebox! There is no true clothing or home department, if that is what you're after. It's like a drug store with the essentials when on a quick run. But what shocked me the most about this location is that they have the biggest black hair care aisle I have seen at any big-box store ever! Not the three shelf segregrated corner like most places. It was like shopping for candy. I loved it. I highly recommend us textured hair people to shop here because your time will not be wasted.

This review is for the so called "Manager" Emily. Poor customer service and unable to read policy with what little reading she can muster up. Since when are customers not allowed to price match and apply a target circle coupon to a purchase??! When I asked her to show me where that is stated in the terms of use, her poor ginger head couldn't find it.... bless her heart. She admitted it isn't written in the coupon tiny text size terms where customers can see on the target app, but swears she read it on a memo in the back of the store. Ummm okay.... sure, feel free to waste more of a consumers time waiting for you Emily to pull that memo outta your backside. Waste of time and gas. No wonder Target is tanking with incompetent people like Emily playing manager. Wasted air talking to a carrot cupcake.

This has to be one of the worst targets for picking up purchases at the drive up. This is the second time that I’m waiting for over 10 minutes and I’M THE ONLY ONE HERE. They really need to get their act together and it starts with the management.

This Target is clean, well stocked and surprisingly not busy at all on a Sunday afternoon. But it is smaller than the Target stores I've grown used to shopping at in my former community, more the size of a drugstore. What shall I call it - Tiny Target? Target Jr.? Target Express? I'm not sure if this size is the norm for the area. I might try the one on Del Obispo just to compare, even though it had a lower rating.

I honestly can say I don't have bad experiences in stores often, but this store was pretty horrible. If the staff in a store makes you want to abandon your items and leave, they don't really deserve your business.Overall, the staff were pretty dismissive and cold, and made it seem like it was a major inconvenice people were in the store. The woman who helped me was quite condescending, so much so, to the point that I almost abandoned the items and left.I would avoid this store if I were you; the selection is fairly small and limited anyway.

I usually don’t shop at this particular target a Mission Viejo South. The customer service was nonexistent. It’s like no one even works in the store! I always do drive up to pick up my orders in Rancho, Santa, Margarita, and the customer service is superior and they are always very very quick, even though they are extremely busy at that store. I pull up to the store and I’m the only one there in parking space number one and 20 minutes and no one has come out. I tried to call the store numerous times no one answered in any department, including customer service. I even tried electronics and food and beverage. No one answered in over 30+ rings in each department with no voicemail. The store is horrible don’t ever come here! I had to get out of my car and walk into the store and actually find an employee which took a few minutes. (At Target!!) And now I’m still waiting inside the store for another 10 minutes. My order has been ready at the store since yesterday and here I am 30 minutes later standing in the store waiting. Never again at Mission Viejo South

While this store is convenient, it's very hard to find someone to help you. BEWARE- if you ever do self check, make sure someone hasn't already scanned their items and left with out paying! Has almost happened to me twice and once to a lady in front of me.
