3 years ago I would have left a 5 star review but as of recent, this dealership has declined significantly. Salesman are as slimy as all the rest. They are understaffed and apparently behind when it comes to paperwork. 4 months have passed and they still haven't processed my registration. Don't waste your time, if a Lexus is really what you want, try another location. Although Toyota financial in general seems to be part of the problem.

I had taken my Lexus to this location for about 3 years trusting them with my car. At a scheduled service, they tried to push unnecessary brake job on me by falsifying reports stating my brake pads were dangerously low. They tried to use scare tactic on me. An independent shop's evaluation revealed that my brake pads were not low at all. This dealership tried to gain my trust and tried to pull a quick one on unsuspecting customers. The service advisor tried to blame the mechanic stating that he has tried to push unnecessary brake jobs before, trying to distance himself. I reported them to several government agencies.They also tried to deny warranty coverage by denying any suspension noises when there was clear abnormal noise. Even after several times they tried to deny the noise and when they could no longer deny it, they started to claim all cars have suspension noises. It was later verified and acknowledged by Lexus executive office and fixed. The dealership and the Lexus brand engagement division tried to claim there is no suspension problem, even when I sent them videos. I had to contact Toyota/Lexus executive office. This dealership is shady from top down. I had sent emails to the general manager notifying them of these issues but they did not even reply or apologize.

Could not have asked for a better buying experience. Michael Flores is hands down the best salesman I've ever worked with. Super informative, patient, professional, and not at all pushy. Juan Sanchez in Finance was no different. Absolute top notch outstanding customer service!A big shoutout to Sean Manning in parts as well. I sincerely appreciate his outstanding customer service as well. His thoughtfulness and professionalism did not go unnoticed this morning while I worked through a credit card issue. Thank you Sean for all your help!I honestly can't say enough nice things about this dealer. I've been so super impressed!

I know you guys have at least years and I have first Experience with Matt Hasso, he is the greatest Menedger that I a ever met. I asked them to help me to bay another car from you. He was not there but he recommended another Menedger his name is Enzo. He explained to me everything we did a test drive explain me how use all details about it. Finally, we got a new car from you, thank you so much South County Lexus. I leave you. I highly recommend this dealer with no hidden fees.

First time to come here and get home very satisfied. Zoe helped me a lot from my inquiry to driving and finalizing the deal. I'm really happy with Hamid in explaining the different options in the finance department. Would recommend this dealership who wants to get a reliable and durable car.

Had the absolute best experience at this dealership, thanks to Jeff Rawitch. He was responsive, professional, kind, patient, honest, and extremely thorough making this the smoothest auto buying experience I've had. If you are looking for a Lexus or any quality used car, you will not regret calling Jeff ("JR") and letting him find the best possible fit for you and your family. This morning I went to retrieve my Lexus. I had taken it in yesterday after being notified that the parts had arrived. Daven Anthony gave me a loaner in case the repairs took longer than expected. As promised, there was NO CHARGE!!! I am eternally grateful!

Zoe with South County Lexus was unbelievable in communicating with me while I was trying to purchase a vehicle over 300 miles away, sight unseen. Zoe sent photos, vehicle history, car fax report, any information I asked for was quickly communicated. Couldn't recommend her more, absolutely great service, in fact everyone at South County made purchasing my used car so easy. If you're in the market for a car, new or used, ask for Zoe and you'll have the same great experience I did!

I recently (6/24/23) had an incredibly disappointing experience at South County Lexus, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. I had been communicating with a 25-year veteran salesman via text, who assured me that the dealership does not charge a mark-up for the Lexus NX350h. Excited by this news, I made my way to the dealership to finalize the purchase, only to be met with a completely different story from the sales manager, Houston Lustig.To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. Houston Lustig refused to honor the commitment made by his own salesman over text, and refusing further negotiations, leaving me feeling deceived and misled. It's disheartening to encounter such blatant disregard for honesty and integrity in a supposedly reputable dealership.Adding insult to injury, I decided to escalate the matter by contacting the corporate office, hoping for some resolution or clarification. To my dismay, I discovered that the general manager of South County Lexus is none other than Patrick Lustig, a family member of Houston Lustig. This revelation raises suspicions of nepotism and casts a shadow of doubt on the dealership's practices.It's incredibly disconcerting to see a dealership resorting to bait and switch tactics and potentially exploiting familial connections for personal gain. Such behavior not only undermines the trust between the dealership and its customers but also tarnishes the reputation of Lexus as a whole.I strongly caution potential buyers to approach this dealership with skepticism and to thoroughly research their options before considering a purchase. The lack of transparency and apparent nepotism demonstrated by the Lustig family is simply unacceptable, and I regret having wasted my time and energy dealing with their unscrupulous practices.Luckily, within a few days of this encounter, had a great experience with Newport Lexus, and was able to purchase the NX350h without any hassle that I had to endure with South County Lexus.

BEWARE South county LexusHad clear and direct communication with their senior salesman of 25 years, text message proof that they wouldn't charge markup on the car (nx350h) we were looking to purchase...."We do not charge market price on top..." regarding additional dealer markup.Show up early today to make the deal and the sales guy says he can discount the markup from 5k to 2.5k... what? What happened to what your salesman said through text? He had our text messages on his screen, claimed they were a miscommunication or a typo, when it was clear as day what he was saying.The sales guy came back again after talking to the manager explaining the clear messages and said the manager (Houston L.) would not allow it. I told him to come tell me directly about this and when he showed up he tried to create this narrative that "these cars are in demand"... no shit. I already know that. That has nothing to do with what your supposed senior sales manager CLEARLY stated to me to get me to come in. Tried to gaslight me into thinking I was the one who did not understand, when there was absolutely NO doubt what he meant. He was lying blatantly to get me in the door. He kept saying he "can't" (more like won't) honor what their own guy said to me. Do NOT go there unless you don't mind being mislead and lied to.

"BUYER BEWARE"I contacted South County Lexus on 6/9/23 (Friday) about a 2018 Hyundai Tucson SEL on saw on the True Car website. Alfredo D. called me Saturday morning to set up an appointment to drive the vehicle. I told him I was coming up from San Diego and would be there at 3:30. He scheduled an appointment to test drive the vehicle for 3:30 p.m. As I was leaving the house Houston L. (Sales Manager) called me to let me know Alfredo would be waiting for me with the vehicle for a test drive. We arrived at South County Lexus at 3:25 p.m and walked into the dealership. Alfredo D. came out and let us know the vehicle was not on the lot but would be back in 30 minutes (1st Red Flag). He then asked us to look around the lot at other vehicles (2nd Red Flag). After 30 minutes we left to visit another the dealership. We came back 1.5 hours later. Alfredo D. let us know that the car was still not back (3rd Red Flag). How can you set up a test drive appointment without the car being on the lot? I then informed Alfredo D. that I would like to speak to his manager. He introduced me to Houston L. (Sales Manage). I let him know that the Dealership ratings are high for this dealership on a couple of the car websites and to not let them go down by dishonest salesmen and their tactics. Houston L. agreed that the salesman (Alfredo D.) should have verified the car was on site before contacting me for a test drive appointment. He also attempted to explain that the dealership purchased the 2018 Hyundai Tucson since the vehicle that the Tucson owner purchased had not yet arrived to the dealership. So why would a dealership still list it on the Car Gurus website for sale? What kind of a Sales practice is that? (4th Red Flag). As a college graduate with a Masters Degree in Business Administration the first question that comes to mind is "What type of business model is that?" Houston L. then proceeded to tell me when the vehicle is returned to the dealership, they could drive it to me to look at and test drive. I then informed Houston L. that "I AM NOT BUYING A VEHICLE FROM SOUTH COUNTY LEXUS". In a attempt to "Smooth" over the situation Houston L. offered to fill my tank for the inconvenience of having to drive 1.5 to their dealership. I declined the offer and explained to him that I should have never had to drive up if your Salesman had done his JOB!! I also let him know that filling my tank is not going to "smooth" over the fact that this dealership (salesman Alfredo D.) along with the Sales Manager's knowledge (Houston L.) use "DISHONEST PRACTICES". For Alfredo D. and Houston L. "Don't look directly at a customer and lie to them". This dealership is DISHONEST and treats Customers with blatant DISRESPECT. For ownership, take a hard look at your Management and Salesperson teams and identify the reason your team believes that DISHONESTY and DISRESPECT are accepted sales practices at your dealership. Customers take your business to a dealership that does business the "RIGHT WAY". Not the South County Lexus way!!!

I took my car in fir the Zac tek. They sold me lots of these to keep caviar pain fresh. But it wasn't true. It didn't refresh or revive the dulled sparkles in caviar paint. They say ( now) it was never meant to do that. So much for false advertising. They also took my safety side lane signal out. They didn't update my Glock either. Why? Probably b/c I didn't do maintenance with them. My car has few miles on it and I go to my fav guy. Btw: I called service numerous times with no call back.
