Not one single nice guy works here. It’s been extremely difficult to get ahold of the shop or anyone that works here. I would rather go to just about any other automotive place than give these jerks my hard earned money. Highly recommend staying clear of this place, especially if you’re a woman.

I was on my way to World Market with a friend, and stopped to get my grandson a doughnut at Kristy Kreme, while in line I smelled something burning from my car and noticed my car was overheating. I had just gotten an oil change and new brakes at an auto repair close to my home. We pulled into a parking lot next door to let the car cool down. It just so happened we were in the parking lot of South County Auto repair. We turned the car off and I called the place that did my oil change and brakes, I spoke with the mechanic who did the work and basically he was a bit defensive, I’ll just leave it there. I walked over to South County Auto Repair to ask for some water for the car. I was greeted by Sergio and explained the situation. He came over to the car asked if he could pop the hood and take a look. Of course I said yes. He open the hood and immediately found the problem, the mechanic that I had do the work the day before had neglected to put the cap back on my radiator as well and the oil…… he asked me to let it cool down and he would come back in 20 minutes and he would refill the radiator. He came back filled it with water, and even started the car, blasted the heater to make sure everything was okay before we left. I could not believe what a great guy and how much attention to detail he gave considering he didn’t cause the issue but came into fix it. I will definitely be going to Sergio with my future car needs. I’m so glad in this weird way I came to meet Sergio!!!! Thank you Sergio and Thank you South County Auto Repair!!

I make to this place by luck. I brought my car for service. The technicians were very friendly and very professional. They checked the car and provided the service that I requested.They did not try to do additional work that is not needed. The price was very reasonable.I am planning to take my other cars for service there.Thanks.

This place unfortunately likes to take advantage of customers who either don't know better or are just in a tough spot. Plenty other reviews seem to have the same experience as me. I came into this shop on 11/7/22 for probably the 8th time over the course of the past 4 months and on each visit I've patiently waited over 30 minutes when it's not busy for them to reset my Intoxalock device. Not to mention the owner and other dude don't even really speak to me as a customer. They just charge me $25 and take forever & im on my way and I'm always polite about it. Long story short I had an issue with my device and then a separate issue with my car. My car had an oil leak and the engine power was reduced due to that so I couldn't drive it. I came in one day with the exact mileage & my device like I normally would. This time we got to talking and I figured I'd share the spot I'm in, not for sympathy but just as a talking point. I said how the situation I'm in just sucks, I can't drive my car and I have it just sitting at my main mechanic. The owner took this opportunity to tell me ohhh this time you actually have to pay $150 for the reset not $25. He said it's because my car wasn't with me, when we initially installed this device I was given a set reset price of $25. I was so pissed off all I said was, "I can't afford that man.." He said sorry in a tone that made me believe he wasn't actually enforcing any rule or policy. It was that sorry that sounds like BS. I left, decided to call Intoxalock and they told me no pricing is congruent across the board and the mechanic can price however they want. Essentially, they had an opportunity to have integrity with the business they run but they wanted to be crooks instead to someone who had minimal options. They could have gotten paid $300 for the removal, picked up the work on my car which I gladly would have given & got $25 for the reset. Now they get nothing and lose yet another customer. This is the first negative review I've ever written in my life. People who take advantage of others deserve to be brought into the public eye.

I only selected 1 star because i had to. I wish I would have read the reviews before taking my car to this place. SERGIO is the most RUDE person I've ever dealt with! I am in customer service, and for him to even have a shop is infuriating. I hope everyone and anyone who reads this takes into consideration this review and seek business elsewhere. I'd rather pay the extra $50 and get good service!!!

My car was towed in by AAA. It would not start and AAA did not know why. So South County saw the car Monday morning. They diagnosed the fault, ordered a new part and fitted it all on the same day. My car is an old BMW so needs knowledge of its working that they understood. So it was all good. Recommended.!

I was able to get a vehicle inspection in less than 20 minutes and it was right before they were going to close, which they could've said no but they didn't. I am so grateful for the fast and friendly service I received today. Thank you to all of the staff! I highly recommend this place to anyone reading this.

You clearly have no idea how to conduct proper service, business or repairs. I am very concerned with not only your experience but also your knowledge in mechanics. It behooves you to fix your wrongs, and do the right thing for a "customer" You took my money for a repair which you didn't complete, and lied about the service you were able to provide. Not only that, but you stole MY documentation so I could provide it to a REAL facility.
