I love this studio. I wish I had found it sooner. It is super easy to register for classes. They have excellent instructers. I'm a beginner and injured but was able to find classes that really helped with my pain. They were all so patient and kind. I will definitely come back every chance I get.

After a bursa issue and physical therapy, I started yoga to keep more flexible. Enter Covid. Everything shut down. I over heard a woman at my hairdresser talk about her yoga studio so we talked and I found out about SMY's wonderful 2 week try out. I no longer have that Bursa flair up or pain!!! This is a great place for all levels of Yoga where all are treated with love and respect. Classes are offered daily. They have regularly scheduled workshops and a destination yoga trip once a year!!! This could be you new happy place. Oh yes, and the owners have this adorable dog that loves hugs and attention but we dont see her enough!!! Come see for yourself!!

Fantastic studio and even more amazing instructors! I’ve been going to this studio for 2 years. While pregnant, all the instructors gave me modified poses so I could still be part of the class. 100/10 recommend!

A truly amazing yoga studio and community. The instructors here genuinely care for their members, returning and new. They're welcoming and mindful of all levels and abilities just like their sign says. I've been wanting a place like this for a long time. I feel I can grow here physically, spiritually, and socially here which is so rare to be able to say.

I genuinely love this studio. The space, interior design, the incense, the music. All lovely. Soul Movement is a unique studio, it is LGBTQ women owned and operated business, and Malaurie, the owner is incredible. her approach as a teacher is a balance of spiritual inspiration without seeming whimsical or surface level. I really gravitate towards her energy. As a new yogi in her studio, I noticed that her students and regulars have a lot of trust with her. The type of yoga classes offered at Soul Movement are a balance of restorative yoga and some vinyasa flows. None of them are heated. I think it is a perfect studio for beginner and casual yogis. I went to this studio almost every day for two weeks, and it really left an impact on me. I recommended checking Soul Movement out!

Went to my first class on Sunday and I absolutely loved it. The instructor Vinyasa was so attentive to everyone's different needs and made sure everyone was comfortable. So happy I found a new yoga studio that makes me feel comfortable and really connect with myself.

I am so incredibly grateful to have found Soul Movement Yoga! Yoga is something I've considered on and off for years but the thought of joining a class and being around a bunch of people I don't know usually makes me extremely anxious. While looking at a number of studios in the area, Soul Movement is the one that stood out to me. From both the reviews and the website, I felt like this might be a place where I actually could feel comfortable and not be judged. Plus the $25 intro package (2 weeks of unlimited classes) seemed like an incredible chance to try out as many classes as I wanted (or if I decided it wasn't for me after one class, it still would have been worth the try). I sent a message through the site asking about a couple classes, and Malaurie got back to me super-quickly with very helpful insights. I told my friend that I was planning on joining and she ended up joining too! She started the classes before I did and told me she loved it. She felt very comfortable and said that there really is no judgment even if you're brand new, not very flexible, etc. She also said the instructors were very warm and welcoming. I was still nervous as I drove to my first class but as soon as I walked in I thought, "wow, this place really does have a chill vibe." Amber (I hope I got her name right!) in the lobby was very welcoming and showed me how to check in, where to put my stuff, etc. The main room is spacious and clean. I don't know how to describe the feel but from the lighting to the music to the subtle scent, it exudes calm. At both classes I've been to (so far), the instructor introduced herself (so far I've taken one class with Ana and one with Amy). They were both so warm and welcoming, I immediately felt much more comfortable than I thought I would be. Their personalities and even their voices are so calming. Both the courses I've taken so far have been centered around relaxation and mindfulness with focuses on breath work, being present, and releasing both physical and mental tension. I actually felt very comfortable very quickly. It was easy to follow along and any corrections were done in an extremely gentle and supportive way- in fact they were more like helpful guidance than "corrections." Leaving the classes, I can't describe how nice it felt. Physically, I felt like I had lost 10 pounds of pure tension. Mentally, I felt calm and peaceful, and it was such a relief to experience that because I've always felt quite the opposite (anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, etc.) There's something almost "magical" about yoga. I've already signed up for 6 more classes! I definitely struggle with relaxing and clearing my mind, so to feel as peaceful as I did feels like a miracle, and I know it will get even better with practice. After my first class (later that day or it might have been the next day), I received a message from Malaurie welcoming me. We ended up messaging a bit about some of the classes which helped me choose which classes to try. It is SO clear to me that Malaurie and everyone at Soul Movement truly loves what they do and are passionate about helping people. This isn't just a yoga studio business. This is a peaceful retreat in a lovely setting with lovely people. I truly believe this can change my life.

Recently visiting from Texas I was desperate to find a yoga studio that fitted my needs. Soul Movement Yoga not only fitted them but exceeded them. Everyday I took a morning class and found every instructor fabulous. Each had their own unique style but I left every class ready to take on the rest of the day. I am sad that I have to leave and return to Texas but, for sure, I will be back and cannot wait to take more classes. The studio itself is fabulously clean and extremely user friendly. Mirrors, walls and plenty of props to assist you in your practice. Loved all the play lists and wish I could take this studio home with me.

I have been searching for a yoga studio like this ever since I moved to Orange County six years ago. It is such a pretty studio and peaceful place to practice, with experienced teachers and a wonderful variety of classes. I haven't yet tried their more active vinyasa flow classes, but I love their slower-paced relaxation and energy healing classes. Of note: I am currently restricted in which poses I can practice due to a medical condition, and I phoned three local studios to inquire about how their classes might work for me. Soul Movement Yoga was the only studio that responded in a way that made me feel accommodated and welcome (so thank you for that!).
