I recently had the most wonderful experience with a dog groomer that I simply must share! Taking my furry friend to Robert was an absolute delight from start to finish. First and foremost, the care and attention Robert showed toward Maverick was exceptional. Robert has a deep affinity and profound comprehension for dogs. He took the time to get to know Maverick's personality and preferences before grooming them. This personal touch instantly put both me and my dog at ease.

I dropped my little furry pup off Friday for grooming. He's been there before for baths, but trying to get his haircut this time. Drop off was fine. About 15-20 mins I get a call that the groomer cannot cut his hair for concern if HER safety. I asked how we can make this better for future services and she had attitude that I need to bring him more often, which I had just brought him about four weeks before that. I told her I was not comfortable with the way the conversation was going and to stop all services and I would be there to pick them right back up. when I go to pick him up, I get my dog and I told her "that she lacked professionalism and customer service because she told me her safety was more important than my dog safety. "She told me she did not say that, and I told her she, in fact did say that. While I was walking out of the grooming area, me, and my two younger sons had heard her say that "our dog belongs in the trash " I was in such shock and my boys were so upset about this as you can imagine. And then called the manager of the store to explain that to him he was also in disbelief and said that this isn't the first home comments like this have been made here. He offered me a 50% off my next service appointment there, which is like why would I even want to go back there? I cannot believe that someone who is supposed to work with dogs would say something like that especially in front of children!

Chris was outstanding. Talk about going above and beyond with his customer service. I just got a puppy and I was carrying him and needed a collar, name tag, leash, food, etc, and there was Chris. He saw me struggling with trying to get his name tag engraved and he offered to do it for me. I was so taken back by that and appreciated him so much. Then he proceeded to ask what else can I help you with and oh boy I definitely needed his expertise and he showed me the way and let me know the best good to get, toys, leash, collar, etc. He really gave me a wow on customer satisfaction. Thank you Chris so much for your time and just being a genuinely great person.

Jackie was so helpful in the fish department! She was so knowledgeable about all the fish and had such a great attitude! We left with great fish and smiles on our faces! Thank you Jackie!

I been coming on and off this place but it seem to get better I heard rumors about a new managers trying to turn profit over people I seen that happen before here back in 2014 2018 we'll get ready for bad reviews and people quitting!! Corporate if you think management and profit are more import I have a bad news for you... enjoy your profits over people!!!

I was in the store wensday round 230 300pm and I hear yelling in the store. I go into find what looks like a head manager was ripping the store mang a new one. This lady (I don't know her name) was screaming and embarrassing the employees and the customers. Thanya the store manager and her staff have made this store so much better than it was. Now because of this experience I don't know how I feel about shopping at petco any more. It was my go to store but now I don't think I want to spend my money there anymore.

Smaller selection because it's a smaller petco, but they still always keep a good stock and the people who work here are very friendly

Depending on the location the employees are usually very nice and always willing to help . They typically have a wide range of pet supplies , food , and accessories. They can sometimes be a bit pricey , but then again I haven't found a pet store that isn't . They are always very good about returns , which is a huge plus in book .

Keeps getting worse. I use to shop at Petco but today I walked out and will never return. Yes it was convenient and close but because of the poor staffing issues and more I will not shop there.First only 2 people working? Hire people you are a large corporation.Second - Asked if the store carried a specific cat food at the register the young lady said I don't know and turned her back on me.Third - while waiting for a reply from either of the 2 women they decided to help 3 customers check out while I was ahead of themFourth- Hire people to help customers instead of trying to run a busy business with a staff of 2Fifth- Do I blame the workers there? A little but I am sure they are exhausted trying to do a 5 person job.I drove to Pets Mart in Aliso Viejo and wow! Cleaner, friendlier, and big stocked store with help. Guess where I will go from now on?

My husband and I went to purchase some items for our budgies today April 10,2022. We were heart broken to see that that the hand fed conures looked very scared and one flinched when a worker stepped out from the back room. Their water was disgusting as if they hadn't changed it for a week. There was a film on top with lots of seeds or p*** at the bottom. We took some pictures because we asked the girl if they had changed the water and she claimed they change it 3x a day. As a bird owner I can tell you that this water bowl would NOT be this dirty if they clean it 3x/day. The parakeets accords are really cute but some had very dirty butts which means they may have a crop or vent infection also from dirty water. Please have your leadership seriously look at the management of your live animals!!! I see that this was a problem 1 year ago.

Annoying. I have a cat with stomatitis (chronic mouth ulcers) so he's particular about the texture and flavors of the cat food he eats. I placed an online order for pickup at 4:30 and got a confirmation email. I ordered 7 greens, 7 purples and 7 pinks. By 6:30 I hadn't gotten a "come and get it" email so I just went to the store myself. Unfortunately, they only had 6 greens, 5 purples and 7 pinks. Crap. I couldn't just fulfill my own order and leave. Getting alternate items to make up the difference wasn't a possibility because my kitty won't eat all flavors of the same brand. Some make him have a "throw up face' reaction. I told the cashier what happened. He couldn't cancel my order so I just bought what they had. He was friendly and personable. He did his very best within the limitations of the PetCo computer system. I got home and called Customer Service to cancel the order. They said I could wait until the order was fulfilled to cancel. I told them it wasn't possible because I'd taken all the purples, greens and pinks they had in the store. After being on hold for 15 minutes, I was informed Customer Service couldn't cancel the order either. GROWL. They had to put in a request to the "main office" to cancel my order. And it would take 24 hours. And I'd need to look for confirmation of the cancellation. Just OMG. Everyone was nice and polite and personable. But no one fulfilled my order in a timely way. No one could cancel my order or even items on my order. They could be helpful only within the limitations of the arcane Petco ordering system. DO NOT RECOMMEND ONLINE ORDERING FOR PICKUP.

Brenda was wonderful! Petco has become so expensive, I doubt I will be able to return. And we have been a petco family 11 years. My kids looked wonderful!!!!!

I am sorely disappointed with Petco. I went there today to get my dog groomed. Mind you, I've been there on several occasions for dog grooming. I was told that the rabies vaccination information for my dog had expired in 2015! When I told them that they'd groomed my dog many times since 2015 the response was "well we couldn't know when the vaccination expired." So I asked them to call my vet for the current info and they refused saying they needed the paper copy. I have never had this issue with PetSmart or any other groomer I've been to. I will not be going to Petco again.
