Lately I have been coming here because even though they are more expensive than the bigger store names like Petco and Petsmart they have been price matching for me, so I can get all my items in once place without having to pay the higher price tag, which I really appreciate (thanks Jennifer) and as long as it stays that way, they will continue to have my business. I prefer to spend my money at smaller local stores anyway.
In addition to that, when I'm there the staff (thanks again Jennifer) is really good at asking you if you are finding what you need. And if you are not finding what you need, offering to order it for you and get it in stock. Customer service is sooooo important in any sales related job or business but it is the #1 most overlooked thing. When I am at the big stores like Petco or Petsmart no employee ever asks if I'm finding what I need or offers to help. And even when you try getting any employee to help they can usually be hard to track one down or get one that doesn't seem annoyed to help. So thank you Pets Plus for actually caring about the customer's needs and not just making a buck. We notice the difference!

28401 Los Alisos Blvd, Mission Viejoi found katie through a local community group when i was looking for a pet groomer to make a house call to trim the nails of my sweet pup. when i met her, i was surprised to see how comfortable my dog felt with her right off the bat. she went up to katie with no hesitation and had a little bit of a tail wag. katie gave her some pets and they were off to the van for the nail trim! when they were back, ginger didn't seem stressed out at all and i could tell that katie made the effort to make her feel comfortable before trimming her nails. im so grateful to have found katie and i look forward to her coming back to trim gingers nails on the future!

21622 Marguerite Pkwy, Mission ViejoSo, after looking for a cat groomer, which is trying to find a needle in the haystack in South OC, I found this business on google. After reading the first Yelp review under this business, I was extremely hesitant on contacting the owner, Ash. My cat was matted and was overdue getting a lion cut. This groomer did so have experience in providing such services for grooming cats, so I took the chance. Again, it's very difficult finding someone who grooms cats. Yesterday was the day, my 17 year old Ragdoll cat had her appointment. The owner notified me on his timing, as he was 30 minutes late to service my cat appointment. It took 30-45 minutes to give my cat a lions cut. When I got her back, he did point out a slight scratch he caused her. As I examined her, it didn't look bad, but felt that he rushed the appointment. Cat grooming isn't cheap, therefore, I paid a hefty amount, and I felt that it was worth it. My cat was heavily matted, and she felt better afterwards. The owner was as careful as possible with her, but again it felt rushed. He did an okay job. Overall, I'd think twice about using this groomer again, for cat grooming. But in my area, there wasn't any options available. So, my reasons for the 3 and 1/2 stars is that he was extremely late, which he did notify me on, and for the slight Nick on my cat, and for rushing the appointment. I hope this review makes sense. 3 Tomillo Ln, Mission ViejoI have a 15-year-old dog that is ill but still needed his nails trimmed. Noah came out right on time. He made sure to understand Rascals needs and his medical condition. He carried him into the van, cut his nails, and trimmed the hair around his pads so he would not slip on the stone floors. Noah then brought Rascal back into the house. Rascal now has a much easier time getting around. Noah did a great job and showed a real understanding and caring of dogs. Will defiantly use him again for my other dogs grooming needs.

24174 Alicia Pkwy, Mission ViejoOur cat Zoey was attacked by a coyote, and a local emergency vet hospital that evaluated/stabilized her in the middle night recommended Dr. Gunderson. Dr. Gunderson and her staff at Muirlands were amazing! After taking Zoey in as an emergency client, suturing her wounds, etc., she provided ongoing guidance in follow up visits for the past two weeks, giving me instructions, proper meds, etc. so I could care for Zoey at home without needing to send her to an animal hospital for a long stay. Probably the best vet experience I've ever had...their quality care and support are the reasons my cat (and I!) survived her traumatic injuries! Thank you Dr. Gunderson and Staff!

We took her to 3 different veterinary clinics, and almost drove her down to Mexico for a MRI, but the day before doing so I took her to Oso Pet Care Center. I suspected she may have been suffering from nose polyps but Dr. Han's first thought was to run a test for a somewhat rare fungal disease called Cryptococcus. It came back positive so, although we were worried about her prognosis, we were relieved that someone could finally tell us what was happening to our sweet girl. Kiwi was days away from requiring euthanasia, she was in critical condition and was really suffering. Fortunately for us, she was in good hands-- Dr. Han and his team formulated an excellent strategy for her treatment. Though expensive, as all veterinary things seem to be these days, the quality of care was top-notch. Dr. Han did his very best to ensure he got her back to a healthy condition. The treatment was semi-experimental as his team had not encountered this condition first hand before but Dr. Han consulted with different colleagues and professionals to make sure he provided the best treatment possible for Kiwi. I know he did a lot of "behind the scenes" research and really dedicated a lot of his time to her case. Today, we are still fighting the fungal disease but I am grateful to say that Kiwi is back to her healthy, active and happy self. We thought we were about to lose a member of our family but thanks to Dr. Han this story has a happy ending!

Dr. Weintraub provides great care, but Lisa, the receptionist, has been there for 20+ years and will always ensure that if a laundry list of care is needed, she will prioritize it for us. They always work with us on pricing and give the best care. If you are looking for a great Vet with reasonable fees, Jeronimo is the place to go.

Family Member Veterinary Hospital
27855 Santa Margarita Pkwy Suite G, Mission ViejoDecided to go here as they had more of a family vibe that I'm used to going. And no, not because they have family in their name, although that is kind of interesting and unique too. Unless things are really dire, which they usually aren't, the Vets here take on a more conservative approach. Just like at your human doctor, even tho it seems unsure, not everything is an emergency, and if it is, your pet belongs at the emergency hospital, not your regular vet.
You could choose to go a different route and order excessive tests for your peace of mind, despite the Vets here not seeing the urgency. And mind you, they've had education, they've gone thru training, they've had trials. They've seen so much worse... and so I appreciate that they have a cool head on and can be realistic and logistical.
14 years of cat ownership with hundreds in-between for tnr and cat rescue with 2 handfuls at home now. And with this vet and the one prior in anaheim, not one lost from negligence. No intentional delusion or malice. Good honest people who will suggest this and that and reinforce a necessity here and there but aren't pushy or black and white with all or nothing attitude.

I did not have a regular Vet when it came time needed to put our sweet 14yr old cat to sleep. After other Vets quoted me very high prices and not liking the fact that our cat wasn’t a patient of theirs. Portola took us, no demands to meet, were kind, understanding and showed us great compassion. They arranged to get us in when we needed, on short notice and their services were very affordable.

The dog wizard really suits him. His professionalism, calm manner, knowledge, method and overall understanding of both dog and human psychology, you could never find ANYONE better that him.
His two weeks boot camp worth every penny. It’s once a life time training FOREVER, off leash, everywhere, with a peace of mind that your dog(s) is going to be on his/her best behavior ever, even when Kathy or Kathy’s mother-in-law are around.
You just have to believe in the process. ?

I wanted to try the empanadas too, but we ended up not doing so as I felt they were a bit pricey at $5 a piece.

We realized as soon as we stepped through the door that we live nearby and should make this place one of our go to places on Sat. night!! The staff was great. We had Raul as our waiter-- he was very helpful and attentive as was the rest of the staff. Husband had Veal Parm and said it was very good. I had the Carpaccio de Manzo because I was avoiding pasta at this time...super good. But when I go back...I am definitely going to indulge. Pineapple cheesecake for desert...sooo good! oh...also, I forgot... we started with good bread and an usual fresh tasting cucumber pesto --so my good my husband didn't even ask for butter the way he usually does. :)

The evening started off quiet, and then, all of a sudden, every table in the bar filled up. By the time we were leaving, we noticed the restaurant side was also completely full. We've lived in Mission Viejo for about two years now but somehow never knew about this place! Our server, Emma, deserves all the credit ! We arrived just in time for happy hour, and she made sure we didn't miss out. She mentioned that she does a little bit of everything, and we saw it firsthand, making drinks, and guiding the other employees. The service was top-notch, and she was amazing! We don't eat a lot, so it was perfect for us to enjoy the atmosphere and the food, which was incredible. The ambiance and the hardworking staff made the experience unforgettable. I honestly had to make one of these accounts to share my experience. So glad we could get a table this place is a true find !!!! We will be back

It's so calm and relaxing, all the decor and seating is so beautiful. The workers are so time efficient, the food is so high quality and it's such a good price for the amount of food you get. The free miso soup is so good and it compliments the bowls so nicely. I have gotten all my friends hooked, no other poke place compares. 100% recommend!
