Organized and clean store! Especially the Wine department. Huge selection of wines and spirits, but what really makes it great is Noah and Paul. They are super friendly and always wiling to help. Paul has always treated me like a VIP customer and has recommended some great wines to pair with our dinner! Even though the store is a little bit of a drive, I'll always go to this one!

This review is for an employee named Linda, a female grocery checker at this location, Oso and Marguerite Parkway. Beware of this person..she is an angry bully who is very conflictual. Went in to return several items for making cookies I had bought earlier at Pavillions, as I was able to find pre made cookies elsewhere. I had the receipt I handed her, which was from a purchase an hour and a half ago and she immediately started making nasty faces, became very aggressive and began interrogating me as to why I was returning the items. She also yelled to the other checker, "This girl is trying to return the cookie dough and it's not frozen!" It was as if she was attempting to humiliate me or prove I was doing something dishonest. I let her know that I'd been running errands and had been in my car with the cookie dough in the bag, however, I had the receipt and that should suffice for a return. She continued to escalate in her aggressive behavior and when I asked what her name was (several different times), she repeatedly refused to give it to me. At that point, I was getting nowhere and told her I needed to speak to the manager immediately and I didn't want her "helping me" anymore nor did I appreciate her making a scene and being so conflictual over a very simple return of items with a receipt. Another male employee stepped in to help and start the return and finally gave me her name. Linda started to make faces at me like a child and said loudly, "Oh, I'm so scared!" I just stared at her and was in shock. I couldn't believe the way she was acting and was being ALLOWED to act at her workplace, particularly with customers! Her unprofessional, appallingly rude and downright out of line behavior reflects very poorly on the store. She is I'd guess a 50 something year old Hispanic female who was wearing a black mask. The manager, Mike, assured me that he would reprimand Linda, and I certainly hope so, as she is an angry and out of control bully who is looking for a fight, and should be held accountable for her erratic and unstable behavior. In my opinion, she should be let go. I couldn't believe she was not called out right on the spot and more was not done to rectify the situation. I've been coming to Pavillions for years (several locations around Orange County) and been working in customer service for years and I am not sure I will choose to return to this location after this terribly negative experience and lack of resolution.

Clean. Has everything Negotiable seem very fresh. Better than most places. Staff are very nice. Not crowded at all around 6 pm on weeknight. Best time to shop if you can.

Today an employee from their Starbucks department accosted my husband and I like we were thieves. We chose a stainless steel cup and placed it on our cart. Previous experience has left us with a 30 plus minute wait in line and difficulty checking out. Then to only have to wait in a regular cashier line who bounced us back to the Starbucks line. And even then they had to call a manager. I gave her the precious “inventory “ she claimed we were disturbing. I thought the basic premise in retail was to sell? Treating your customers as individuals who should service your needs over any thing else is ridiculous

They usually have the items I need, however I likely won't shop at this pavilions anymore. I always feel unwelcome and almost like a bother to the employees. The cashiers are unfriendly and so are the baggers. When you tell them "thank you" they might grunt but usually it's no response at all. No kind of connection or conversation, not even a "did you find what you needed".

Closest grocery store for me and I've not been disappointed. Plenty of choices on almost everything. Fresh bread, like French bread or baguettes or those heavenly challah bread. Good place to pick up desserts, fruits are generally very good compared to other grocery stores, good fresh flowers section, etc....Definitely my go to place for ready made cakes - my favorites are the ones with fruit int top and they offer three to five different kinds of cakes just with fresh fruit on top. They're always a hit at get togethers. The seafood and meat department has pretty good varieties, lots of fresh choices, and good help always behind the counter.

For several years, we have been loyal customers of Pavilions in Mission Viejo or Laguna Niguel. During our recent online orders, we received several items that had an expiration date of a year ago (mushrooms, nuts, packaged items in the produce department, etc.). Bread was expired last week and had small moldy spots on the sides. When we shopped in store, we noticed several other items being sold past their expiration date such as yogurt or chips. Stocked items at both location have been dwindling and/or are being sold past their expiration date. 99% of the avocados sold here have black flesh discolorations. This occurs when the fruit has been exposed to cold temps for a long time before the ripening process and in fruit that has traveled long distances. I've never seen this in locally grown avocados.Lately, the website has too many bugs. Pavilions customer service states they have been having issues with the website as well.To avoid the return/refund hassles, we have switched our primary shopping to Whole Foods and Sprouts.

Love pavilions, but today my cashier Bennett was treating one of the special needs employees with disrespect. I don't think this is the kind of behavior acceptable by Pavilions

Just wanted to say your produce guy Ethan is awesome! I walked in the other day to get some fresh produce and boy I was surprised when I walked in and saw the beautiful artwork of a wet rack. In all my years of grocery shopping I have never seen such an outstanding wet rack like that. Never seen a guy like your employee Ethan make Picasso level artwork out of vegetables. Truly amazing!

First I’d like to commend the Pharmacy, they are awesome… always helpful and friendly and I appreciate them. With that said I have been a customer at pavilions for many many years, before they did the upgrade years ago which sadly I don’t know what happened to it; now they are liquor focused. :(I recently got bad fish, purchased the same day I was cooking it and it was over the top bad. Also, two times now I have purchased cheese from their cut specialty cheeses that tasted like whoever cut it had perfume all over them. Also, I frequently find items past date codes.Their prices remain high; I only wish the quality would justify the pricing.

A bit pricey but you can find here specialty items not available in other supermarket. I love their cheeses and deli selections. Great place to order cakes.

I will never shop here again after seeing how the manager was treating one of his employees who had special needs.

This is our go to grocery store as it is nearby, clean, spacious and has most of the items we need. I particularly enjoy their drive up option. Ordering online through their app is awesome because they have deals specifically for what I tend to buy often. They have a back of store pick up location so it can be confusing which one to go to since they both say order pick up #1 and 2. After 7pm you have to pick up in the front. If the wait is longer than 5 minutes, you can call and they'll navigate the drive up person to you. Here and there I will get a not so fresh item and they'll reimburse you but this can be troublesome when you need the item for a recipe and have to drive all the way back. They put stickers on the reusable plastic bags but they are so big and wrap around the bag it makes it hard to reuse since when you peel the sticker it can tear the bag.

You should consider re-educating your supervisor Mark on interpersonal skills and catch him up on local ordinance. Harassing a working service animal is despicable. I am a store manager for a separate company and am clearly more informed than Mark the supervisor
