I've been with Jim since May 2016 and this guy never answers the phone. 2 years ago I tried to add my travel trailer to my policy and left him several messages over the course of a week. It wasn't until I called State Farm corporate to complain and try to have them add it to my policy because of his absence did he call me back and give me some excuse that his son was sick in the hospital which is why he was unavailable. I would have believed him if it wasn't that case every time I call. He also told me that my trailer was covered while it was connected to my truck and that I was good to go without insurance on it which was also a lie. My good friend is also insured by this guy and when I told him a month ago I'm canceling my policy he had the same complaints as myself and apparently everyone else here.

Jim's office doesn't pick up the phone, and will call you back 6+ hours later. They will get mad when you call corporate to make changes to your insurance even though you had no other choice as Jim doesn't pick up. Then he gets very rude, and simply hangs up the phone. Do not recommend working with Jim.

The other review echoes my experience. I've never been able to get in touch with this agent via their phone number, and always have to call customer service I requested to cancel in November via the state farm customer service line and my cancellation was not processed as I am writing this in Mid January. This seems intentional and shady. I spoke with a 'specialist' at state farm and they are requesting a refund for the two months I've already been charged and 'calling the agent' tomorrow about cancellation. I only noticed this was happening because my insurance was about to auto-renew for 6 months ahead of time and I happened to get a mail statement. Imagine paying 600 for insurance you aren't using? Hopefully it goes through.

I have had the WORST experience with this agent. I emailed AND called on 10/13 and 10/14 to cancel my policy. I stopped receiving statements and thought it had been taken care of. Low and behold I'm STILL being charged every month. I've called multiple times to continue to try and get this policy cancelled and I've received no response. When I call State Farm they basically say there is nothing they can do and that I need to go through my agent. I finally had to stop payment via my bank and file fraud charges to re-coup my money. I will NEVER use State Farm again and recommend that NO ONE uses this agent.
