I have never seen anyone as rude as this lady at front counter she had no idea what she was doing I ask to speak to her superior and she refused I will. Ever rent a car from them and I hope whoever is in charge will make sure to have a friendly customer service at the counter or they are gonna loose lots of money

90% of my car rentals have been through Hertz. Not this location. I will never rent from here, even if it is the last car rental location on the planet. It's no wonder that the Enterprise right down the street has 10x better reviews. You call in to this location to ask if they have a vehicle available from a specific class and the rep at the store, without a care in the world, quickly replies with, "nope, go rent it from John Wayne Airport." Oh I see, so as opposed to telling me perhaps what would be available from the closest class you basically tell me to go away, we don't have what you need. Impeccable customer service, lemme tell ya. This isn't the first time this happens either. I really wanted to give Hertz the benefit of the doubt after the first time it happened and wadaya know, same attitude, same response. Well done Hertz. Keep losing customers.

Majority of car rental locations do a walk through with the customer shortly before giving the keys to the car. This location which is poorly managed just hands you the keys and points at the car in the lot. Then after returning the vehicle, they randomly charge my card and say they found a screw in one of the tires. Charged me for a brand new tire with no explanation or receipt. Charge just showed up on my credit card. I personally had to visit the location in person again just to get a copy of the receipt because they don’t email it. Never going back.

This location is chronically understaffed, nothing happens quickly here. Long lines, no answer to phone calls, my car was not ready at the time they promised because it hadn't been cleaned. Employees were stressed because they were running around so frantically. To top it off, Hertz overcharged me and took a week to sort it out. Go anywhere else and save yourself the headache.

I wasn't even renting that day but with someone who was. One person at the desk couldn't possibly keep up with the flow of customers and then that single person couldn't fully do her job due to computer restrictions. What should be super simple returns and pickups was an hour ordeal.

No response. They hung up on me and they don't answer phones after they hung up. They told me I will get my final bill after I dropped off the car and I didn't get anything. It's been a nightmare trying to reach them for my final bill.

Place was dead. Customer service was extremely poor. They didn't accommodate or help in anyway. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Hertz should properly train there employees. Renting a car while going through insurance should be very easy. The employee was not helpful at all. I witnessed three other people get denied car rentals in the 15 minutes I was there. No manager to be seem. Vet very poor location. Go elsewhere , don't waste your time.

Really rude staff here. I took my business elsewhere. Gentleman scoffed when I asked to be picked up or even Uber from two cities over. He said it was like a twenty minute drive. I guess that's the quality you get when you go corporate. This dude didn't give a rats A$$ that I work in Irvine. My repair is in Tustin and I live in laguna. He just laughed when answering the phone. Peace buddy. I wish you well, or that you find a better career that makes you happy.

Did not let me apply my young renter's discount through AAA which set me back a substantial amount of money. Now I can't do anything about that lost money. Bad customer service.

Scheduled a rental for a business trip after verifying on the website (see pic) that they were within driving range to pick me up. As you can see, it clearly states in black and white that the rule is 15 minute drive.After calling and calling and trying to get a hold of someone at the branch to schedule my pickup to no avail, I escalated through corporate reservations and they were able to get someone, who told me that I was outside the radius. when I cited the web page and published policy, she told me that the rule was actually “3 miles” and that they could not help me despite being a higher tier Presidents Club member. So, I wasted nearly an hour of my morning.Then, I show up (after spending $18 on an Uber), only to find out they couldn’t process my corporate card with their card reader! The agent tried swiping it. So, use the chip reader, right? Broken. So, manually key in the number, right? Policy forbids it. So, took another $18 Uber ride home with no rental car because they lie about the policy online and don’t care enough to have functioning card readers.DO NOT RENT HERE, unless you are desperate. Terrible service and not particularly friendly either.

The person Ray Infront has bad customer service. She is was not kind and hung up on our call when I ask d to speak to a manager. She as well knew that when we purchased the rental online that when we got there all she had to offer us was a electric car! She was I can give you another car for so much more and then off course we don't want to pay more. Electric car are not great the music kept turning off while driving and charging stations took to long. I extended the time when I picked up the car hot charger she said come back with the car at 75% charged. I said ok I came to a charging station and it says 2 hrs for it to get to 75% , so I called her letting her know I will be bringing the car back but it will be closer to 2pm due to the charging station for the electric car. She said "oh well I will charge you for additional day" She could of worked with us, already knowing they didn't have the car we purchased for. She hung up on me when I asked "I don't understand can you please just wait for me an additional 30 min for this car to be charge?" She said No and hung up. Bad customer service, and this person Ray needs to go! She is making things bad for the business. Ben the manager is not there.
