The staff here are really bad at customer service. They have this weird way of speaking down to people. I noticed this guy (who wasn't even wearing GameStop gear. Hard to say if he even worked there if I hadn't just spoken to him) he was talking to a kid as if he was better than the kid. Just help the kid and ad try not to be so condescending). The location was somewhat clean but just bad energy.

Support video-game stores in general but this one felt unfortunately like a used car dealership with the aggressive upsells. An initial courtesy check-in is fine, but I don’t need multiple upsells on getting the pro membership, or scare tactics that the new games might not be available later unless I pre-order now.

I was warned by a friend don't go in their. They are rude and there is no a guy who looks just like the guy in dazed in confused who was offended for someone saying it smelled like reefer. I walked in and it was the same guy and I asked if he could help me with some switch games and he was too busy putting games away. We waited 20mi minutes before we left. Not a nice fella

Used to be a great store with the old leader and staff, but the new staff and leader ruined the environment there outside of one guy. Wanted to ask for help on certain things the lady practically blew me off and denied any help for me. Lost a spender for this store will not come back for preorders or purchases for this store.

Not sure why yelp took my review off. I waited a long time while an employee with black hair and a tattoo by his eye. There was another couple who had been there a while and they said it's ok he can help you. We haven't made up our mind yet. I said to the cashier hi me and my young kids would like to trade him some games in. He ignored me so I said it louder and he said look cant you see I'm helping someone, in a very rude tone. I said they just said you can keep them and he started to say no no no. So I said well my kids and I don't deserve to be treated like that so we'll take our business elsewhere and he said good we don't want you hear. How absolutely unprofessional amd this is the kind of review you take off of yelp? Not ok

Great GameStop with fun employees. They are helpful and have a lot of experience in gaming. Good stock of games and was able to find what I was looking for. It's also inside a mall so you can make it a trip with other people.There's plenty of parking and is located on the first floor of the mall.

I cannot say enough about the team at this GameStop. I came in to trade in a PS4 and the store had a ton of foot traffic. With a lot of kids out of school at the time, the store staff was a bit distracted due to suspicious behavior from a few of the customers. I could tell the team was feeling a little under pressure. Sean, one of the managers, was helping me out with my trade-in. I could tell that Sean was under some stress that day. I told him to take his time and that I was not in a rush. Sean was thankful and did his absolute best in all the chaos. He clearly explained to me my options, was empathetic and demonstrated what customer service truly means. I traded my PS4 in for a Switch OLED. When I took the OLED home, there was an issue with the JoyCon. I went back to the store and caught Sean as he was leaving. He was off the clock, but he put his bag down, apologized for the inconvenience, and promised to have this resolved. Knowing how that day went and having worked retail in the past, I empathized. I told him I can come back the next day and he asked me to call him before I came to not waste my time/gas. The next day I called him and he immediately picked up the phone, said that he had a solution, and to come by the store. I went to the store and in less than 5 minutes he had my problem fixed. I was looking for a few games and he saw that they were available at the other store in Aliso. He called the store for me and placed the items on hold and saved me a few bucks in the process. I cannot thank Sean and the other employee at the time (sorry I forgot your name) for the level of customer service that was provided. He helped me in my decision making process, handled the transaction smoothly providing me with options to help me out. His patience with me and other customers who had questions was handled with professionalism and patience. To whoever the owner/manager is, Sean deserves a raise and recognition. With all that is going on today, it is an absolute breath of fresh air to have experienced such a positive experience in a retail store. I give a lot of credit to the team member that was working that day as well.

I have been here multiple times and the staff are great. Katie (senior guest advisor) is very knowledgeable, caring, and honest. She helped tremendously with my trade ins and game preorders.
