We brought in 12 outdoor cushions to be reupholstered. Tony and Kevin were so great to work with. They had lots of fabric choices, and Tony did a great job communicating the process. They were quick and the cushions look amazing! I'll update the review once our backyard remodel is done and we put the cushions out. Thank you Five Star! You guys made this process so easy.

Toni did a wonderful job on our mid century modern furniture. So professional and helpful choosing the material in the store. He did a VERY good job restoring these old beauties.

I came in to have 6 slip on seat backs made for my chairs. It is basically a pillow case shape that is padded and slips over the back of a wooden chair. I have had them made before. I came in and selected fabric. I didn't realize it at the time , but I was shown the most expensive fabric. Unfortunately picked it, and 6 padded slip over the chair back slipcovers ended up coasting me $900. My fault, but I could have been shown less expensive fabric, and I could have had more direction from Tony. He was nice enough when ordered them and not so nice when I picked then up. They were nothing like the samples. The color in the final product was not what I expected. From the samples I thought I was picking a mostly green floral It ended up being mostly gold. I told Tony they were not right, and that I was very unhappy. Too bad for me was his attitude. I was out$ 900 for something that was the wrong color for my house. The workmanship was fine, but the customer service was awful. I will never go back and I will never recommend 5 Star to anyone

Absolutely rude. Walked in and the guy just sat at the table and didn't even greet and was so dismissive. Unwilling to help. Just sad how the level of customer services are almost nonexistent. Floored by his rudeness

Reached out to them based on their Yelp reviews to get an estimate on window coverings for a full home renovation. Was charged $85 just for them to show up and do a site visit, payable exclusively via Venmo to the individual employee, Jesse. The estimate I was eventually provided was hand drawn without any dimensions, details, and a very big price tag on a sheet of paper that didn't even have the company logo or information. When I would ask questions about the details of the bid, the price would go up. For example, they tacked on a few hundred dollars because they forgot that installation is more for one type of window covering versus the other. At the end of the day, it was an obvious choice to NOT go with this company.

Tony and his team did an awesome job reupholstering our Morris chair. His team really pays attention to detail and our chair looks amazing. We had a cushion reupholstered as well and can't wait to see how it came out. It wasn't supposed to be completed for another week and Tony called to let us know that it's done early. They do exceptional work and have great customer service.

We had an unfortunate experience with a carpet cleaner that said they could clean our couch cushions. Turns out they did not have the proper equipment to clean our 14' x 7' velvet sectional And they ruined it. Not only were our cushions now rough instead of smooth velvet, They left marks from the equipment and our buttons were rusted. I called and texted pictures to several upholstery companies and the best quality and price appeared to be Tony at five star. The finished product was terrific and Kevin the gentleman in charge of delivery was cautious and installed the couch back in our family room without an issue. Thanks guys!

We used this place through Fashion Interiors. Tony does phenomenal work at great prices with a quick turnaround. There's a reason this place has its name. I can't wait to do more projects with this company.

Our relationship with Tony and Five Star Upholstery started when a decorator we were using had him make two couches for us back in 1991. Since then, we have recovered the same two couches twice! Why? Because they were so well made and comfortable that we always come back to the decision to recover rather than buy new ones. The cushions are down filled. On this latest job, we asked for sleeker lines to update it and also needed cat resistant fabric. We are happy with the end result! In addition to our couches, Five Star has been the go to place for a couple decorators we have worked with to do drapes, bedding and dining room chairs.

I have been using Five Star for years and will never bother with anyone else. The fabric choices are wonderful and the attention to detail, impeccable. I have found fabric at more expensive shops, brought it to Tony and got a better price. He just recovered my 26 year old couch and it looks just as beautiful now as it did when I first got it. He is currently working on gorgeous dog friendly slip covers for my bedroom love seat and chair. To go with the bed he made for me a few years ago!

The owner Tony overdelivered in what we thought would be impossible to do for our needs. His knowledge and skills helped us figure out what kinds of fabrics would be best suited for us and was very understanding. From now on Tony is our go-to guy for our upholstery needs. Their business name is very daring, but with the level of service and precision in quality, I say they live up to their name Well-deserved five stars
