This place has a policy for returns that is just crazy, I bought a hat, it tore first time I wore it, took it in with MY Receipt mind you, and they said I had to call customer service and send pictures of hat and receipt and they would review it before I get my money back, I've lived and shipped a lot of years and never on my life never heard of a no return policy in store with a receipt that's not a week old, unbelievable so beware if you shop here and heaven forbid if you have to return your item, good luck

I have now had two terrible experiences at this Mission Viejo location with the same sales associate (Jacqueline S). My first experience occurred on April 21, 2021 when I came into return some items that were delivered to my home via mail and did not fit well. I met with attitude upon returning my items, and was told I would need to get my credit card to return all the items. I was with my daughter and her stroller at the time and had forgotten my credit card in the car. I asked if I could leave the stroller and items I was returning, as I would run to the car with my daughter to retrieve my credit card. However, I was met with attitude and flippant responses regarding leaving the return items behind and my stroller, which was beyond frustrating as a customer with a child. I gave her a solution to leave the stroller and my items behind at the store while I ran to my car quickly. I then returned to the boutique to process the returns and was again met with attitude and rudeness as she would not process one of the returns as the tag had fallen off the piece (however, it could clearly be seen it had fallen off and the item was new and not worn). She proceeded to tell me with attitude that this piece could not be processed for return and kept pointing to the receipt to read the return policy. At this point, I was beyond frustrated and just left because of this beyond terrible experience. My second encounter occurred on May 11, 2021 when I came to return the same item as I had found the string that attached to the piece. I pointed out that the string had fallen off and showed that it had fallen off, and would like to return this item. I was immediately met with attitude upon entering the boutique as she looked me up and down and had eye contact with me, but without greeting me. I proceeded to try and return the item but was met with nothing but abrasiveness and poor customer service experience. With this, and not getting anywhere, I left the boutique and let her know how rude she had been. I then had to drive to South Coast Plaza to have this item processed and returned, which was done effectively, immediately, and without hassle or question.

I have been circling the swimsuit stores for weeks now trying to find ANYTHING that would just provide enough support and coverage and be flattering enough as not to feel like a grandma at the beach. As a last hope I went to Everything but water at The shops in Mission Viejo picked up a bunch of bikini tops, provided Jackie with a very vague feedback of how they fit and what I was looking for and she brought me a bunch of other tops to try which all fit perfectly! She was so kind, patient and knowledgeable of the products in store! I ended up being super torn between 3 sets so I ended up buying all of them because they were all perfect and I just couldn’t pick just one! Thank you Jackie, you made my day!

Shopping for bathing suits has always been one of those experiences you put off, especially the older you become. Sheila completely changed my mind, she was attentive, comprehensive, understanding, diligent, most importantly she was NICE! Thank you so much for your help, enjoyed my visit to your location and will be back soon! Sheila really takes her role as having a purpose and makes the "trying on bathing suits" an enjoyable event. A happy customer!

Perfect place to find the right swimming suit. The staff is accommodating in suggesting suites. They not only have great swimming suits they also have sundresses and cover up.

I needed new bathing suits but I can't say I've ever had an enjoyable experience trying them on until today! Sheila was so helpful, asked me questions of what I liked and just started pulling a bunch of suits to try on. I left with 3 and while my wallet wasn't happy I was thrilled to have found such cute and flattering bathing suits! I will definitely be coming back.

Each spring I head out for the tedious bathing suit shopping. It seems that the past 4-5 years I always end up at everything but water and not only find a suit but leave with 2! The young women that work here are so super helpful and nice. It doesn't matter if you're the only customer or if the place is packed. They spend time and ask questions and offer suits to try that you may not have normally picked out for yourself. Today I was helped by Sheila and once again left with two suits. She spent so much time helping me and made the experience pleasant. I'm not one to leave reviews but felt compelled today after my great experience.
