Chavez auto repair is the best place I’ve been to! I took my car here after another local shop did a poor job on my repair.Chavez understood my dilemma and worked me in quickly.Very friendly and really wanted to make my experience a good one.The price was much lower than I expected it to be and I have had no issues since he made the appropriate repair. Very good quality and service will be coming here for my car issues. This place is very clean and professional.Highly recommended if you need service.

So helpful! I called to see if I could get a quick quote, Fidel told me to stop in whenever I could. I stopped in about an hour later and he was able to quickly assess the problem and helped me resolve it. As someone new to the area, I’m glad I found a place so helpful and professional! My family and I will definitely be using this auto shop again and again

Had an amazing experience here for oil change today at Chavez Automotive Repair. They were very pleasant when we first walked and look at our car right away. Price was beyond resonable and they looked at everything without trying to sell anything. We will be back again from next maintenance or any other issues with my car. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend going to Fidel at Chavez Automotive Repair. Needed an oil change and my Dad (who goes to him regularly) suggested him. Went in there without an appointment and were helped regardless. He was honest and showed me the minor repairs required. My car was in and out of the shop fairly quickly and I'm one satisfied customer, will be returning!

Fidel is a real honest and good Mechanic. I came to him after a long list of mechanics that denied wanting to help me out after having a horrible experience with another local shop near by. We found the root of the problem and couldn’t do much after that. But he still managed to help me out and find the issue. I highly recommend him for any mechanical issues you may have. I took my 2014 Hyundai Elantra in for an oil change and fluid check a few weeks ago. Fidel was able to get me in quickly, and returned my vehicle just as fast. He is personable and friendly, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. JC, the office manager, was kind, and took the time to break down what services were performed on my Elantra, and the costs associated with each line item. Pricing was also fair and reasonable. They even washed my car afterwards! I would definitely recommend Chávez Automotive Repair to anyone who drives a Japanese or Korean car. Thank you, Fidel and JC!

I had a family truck that stopped starting . Fidel diagnosed the issue and the work was great! Turned out to be a cam sensor and crankshaft sensor. I had him do a thorough check on the truck to insure everything was A ok. I am very pleased with the service and the pricing was about what I expected special shout-out to Alfredo at OC Motorworks my bmw Mecanic for the referral .

I was heading to San Diego from Los Angeles and had some car trouble on the 5 freeway. I had to exit immediately and search for an auto repair shop. Thankfully, I found Chavez Auto Repair. Fidel was very helpful assisting me since the moment I called. He showed to be a very honest and dependable mechanic who quickly and accurately diagnosed the problem. Brought my car to Fidel, at Chavez Automotive Repair, last week for scheduled maintenance. This was my first visit. I immediately found Fidel to be an honest person & and an excellent auto technician. I will be scheduling my other car for maintenance with them in the near future. Generally, it is sometimes hard to find service that you can trust, but I think Fidel is the real deal. I believe I will be doing business with him for the foreseeable future. Thanks, Fidel

Brought in my Lexus 2008 about a month ago (neighbors referral) to replace my sparkplug manifold gasket. I was very pleased with Fidel's professionalism & his knowledge. I got quoted over $800 at the dealership, but here in Chavez Auto Repair, I only paid $600. We (with my 8 year old son) even had a free ride back & forth to my house thru Fidel's son. Top notch customer service & honesty in his work is what I appreciate here.Thank you Fidel. Will be a regular customer from now on.
