This review is STRICTLY FOR PICK UP SERVICE! While in inside is a crowded S show, the pick up service is wonderful. Abe gathered my order, called to let me know they were busy therefore behind. Then he called when ready to pick up and delivered to my car. What a lovely gentleman. If everyone inside could learn from him in customer service, this store would always get 5 star reviews! Thank you, Abe!!!

I've been going to this store for years. The self checkout is awful. If you have a steak or two they hover. This happens every time I go through the self checkout. I had gone through the regular checkout to avoid the hovering before but I had only 8 items and the line was long. I called and spoke to Trevor but he had a rebuttal for everything I was saying. I said no offense to you or Ralph's but this makes me want to go to another store like vons because they don't make the customers feel Ill at ease. He said if I want to go to vons do that. Nice reaction to a customer. It's sad that a store you've been going to for years has declined to the conditions it is now. Ralph's should take out the self-checkout if they have a lot of theft. This use to be a nice store. Customer service is awful and it doesn't give off feelings of good will to the customers.

Been coming to this location for years but after today not anymore. Had a very unpleasant experience with not only the cashier but the guard they recently hired. Was trying to use my credit card to purchase groceries but had accidently only brought my expired credit card to use. When it declined 3 times the cashier violently took my groceries away along with my reusable bag that I had brought with me. I then walked away but proceeded to call the credit card company to find out what was wrong with my card. I did not know it was expired at this point. While calling I was suddenly made aware that the guard in the store began following me. He did not stop following me even though I was clearly on the phone with the credit card company. He even followed me outside. As stated I have been coming to this location for over 20+ years. The workers at this location recognize me but I was treated like a criminal. I also want to add that some places in the store smells like someone urinated on the products. I have noticed this not once but many times throughout various isles of the store.

This location is a little smaller than most and the aisles are hard to navigate, but the employees are very friendly and the location is convenient. I would give it a 5 but the selection is limited compared to most Ralph's in the area.

I've been shopping here for many years. Recently the customer service is horrible. The employees and lack of employees don't give good service. They are miserable, cranky and not helpful. This place needs new management. The recent remodel is terrible. The aisles are narrow and the changes make no sense. Very disappointing to say the least. I went to the laguna hills Ralphs. It's like day and night. Will start shppping there.

I am a die hard customer of Ralph at Marguerite, Lapaz, MV. Lately I am encountering a lot of casual behavior and disrespect by the clerks at the checkout counter. The latest being today morning at 7: 30 am. The register # 9 had its light on so I went there and did not find the clerk who was working on the computer just two steps away. Her name is Nadia. My hands were full of items so I called her attention to come to the register. She totally ignored so I called her again. With great reluctance she walked and told me that if I didn"t find any clerk that I should go to the self check!! I couldn't believe her remark! So I told her she was right there so close for which she felt alerted. Is this the way should she be responding? There was not one customer at that time. I don't know how you are going to train your clerks but you are surely going to lose a good and sincere customer.

This is the nearest store to my house. I have been shopping here since 1994. It used to be a decent store. I only go here now because of how close it is. When I have the time, I shop anywhere else. This morning was a typical shopping experience here. Supplies are low, a lot of produce is unavailable, aisles are so filled you have to move things to just get down the aisle. Ok, fine. This is normal for this Ralphs. My cart is over half way filled. I don't want to self check. No registers are open although there are plenty of employees. I ask the person at the manager desk up front if a register is open. she said "no". Now I have to go through self check out with a lot of produce. The employee in charge of self check is hovering, watching me as I scan every item. Asking me if I am sure I am not using their bags. Several produce items don't have scan codes so I have to look them up. I find green onions and press the button. This employee asks from where he is watching me: "Was that 79 or 99 (or some such numbers like that). I said I had no idea what he is talking about. He repeated again, "Were those green onions the 79 cent bunch or the 99cent bunch?" Apparently, I have purposely tried to cheat Ralphs out of money. I answered, "I have no idea what they are or what they cost. I don't work here." and I keep scanning. Now he is watching me closer as I scan more items. As I weigh the potatoes, he hollers out another number. "What?" I ask. He says if you want to expedite your checkout, I am giving you the scan code number for those potatoes." Honestly, by now I am just in a bad mood. This hovering over customers at self checkout waiting for the customer to make mistakes or cheat is annoying. You know what would have expedited checkout? Actually not forcing customers to be cashiers and having at least one non-self checkout lane open. I don't want to be a cashier. Stop forcing me to do your job and not paying me for doing it and then hover over me to make sure I am doing your job correctly. Ralphs: hire enough people so your customers who don't want to use self checkout don't have to be a cashier. I am a teacher, not a cashier. I don't ask you to come to school to teach my class so stop forcing me to do your job. Btw: after doing your job and bagging my own groceries, the employee came over to "help me" when I asked about a discount on a food item- I wanted to make sure I got the buy one get one free for the chicken. He "helped me" by going back in on the pad to add the 10 cent charge for the Ralphs bag I had to use because the chicken was dripping and I didn't want it to drip all over the bagging area and contaminate it for next customer. So, I was an unpaid cashier and bagger while an employee watched me and then was charged 10 cents for the bag. Next time I guess I will just let the bloody chicken juices spill all over the bagging area.

The service at the meat counter is awful. The employees spend most of their time in the back and don't bother looking to see if they have customers. When you are luckily enough to get service, the staff is extremely unfriendly. They make you feel like you are interrupting their day. If the location wasn't so convenient I would not shop here.

This is a nice Ralph's in kind of a strange shopping center aka strip mall in Mission Viejo. They have beautiful flowers and they have a nice greeter that says hello when you walk in. The grapes are little bit less expensive and so are the cherries I might buy some since I'm obsessed.

I have lived here my whole life and I never thought I'd be writing a review for a grocery store..This store is so horrible that I can't even step foot into this store again, the people that work there are stupid and ignorant. I asked for someone to go to the check stand and nobody even acknowledged me they just look the other way!! How rude! Whoever is the new manager needs to get on that and FIX the current situation. No body there even looks like their smart enough to even understand English. Get a grip Ralph's...

7:30am on this Thursday morning 02/28Having a productive morning decided to do my grocery shopping done early. I had almost 40 items in my cart if not more. I was not going to use self checkout with all those items. Person at checkout was eating I believe it was a whole rotisserie chicken I'm not sure if she was on her break or just having a meal while in the clock. I asked if someone could help me out at the regular checkout lane. I was ignored. I made eye contact with a lady that was on her phone and she decided to help me at the lane. She was really on a bad mood I'm not sure why. As she was scanning my items she was tossing them. I figured she was having a bad morning but why is that the customers fault. To top it off she threw my receipt on the floor she meant to place it on the counter but since she was tossing everything she over did it. Didn't apologize for that. All I heard was have a good day. I didn't catch her name because she didn't have a name tag. Not to be mean but she has a problem with her face maybe paralysis of some type. All I have to say is that if you are unhappy with your job just find another one.

Checkout clerk was very disrespectful and was harassing me at self checkout. When I ask to speak to a manager he called some random employee and made fun of my disability.

talk about a cranky store! i needed some assitance and let me first say the girl in the flower department was very sweet and very helpful...so was the young asian girl helping self check out...but then i had to ask the manager a few questions and though he helped me out it wasnt pleasant at all...rushed and rude...next to the cashier that actually checked me out...older woman with bleached blonde hair...receipt says her name is nadia was extremely rude and not helpful at all...in fact the customer behind me helped me more than the cashier...i left feeling like i was more of a bother to the employees there than a paying customer who has shopped at ralphs for years!i'll now keep shopping at ralphs laguna niguel...they are the best by far!
