Same as other customers. Rude old man at customer service. Made a booking, and they of course didn't have the car I reserved on their website. Only solution was pay more for a higher end car, or go outside and call customer service. Absolute trash.

Great service. The gentleman was very helpful and friendly. My needs for the rental changed but he was very accommodating and made the changes I needed. I will definately do business here in the future.

I had everything set up on line for the rental, but I needed to ask a few simple questions before I fanalized my reservation. They do NOT answer their phone. So I went to another rental car company that acually answered their phone. If you need to talk to an actual associtate, then you'll need to go somewhere else.

I reserved and Pre-Paid a car rental from Budget a week before my travel. I needed a car in this Mission Viejo location due to my tight time schedule. I got a confirmation of my reservation. However, when I showed up to the address, it wasn't there (I guess it had moved across the street due to construction). I called to get the new address and a VERY RUDE man told me not to come in since they don't have any cars. I said that I had a reservation and that I pre-paid it. He said it doesn't matter and they have no cars. I tried to explain to him what a "reservation" means. It means you "reserve" the car for me, especially since I ALREADY paid for it. He cut me off and YELLED at me. Told me to go to the airport, 30 minutes away, to get a car. I reserved the car at this location because I didn't have time to go to the airport and pick up the car I needed. Please anyone who reads this: DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this location. In fact, never rent from Budget. When I got to the airport, they told me they don't have cars either. And they were RUDE TOO! My guess is Budget treats them poorly, so they treat customers poorly. I went to Enterprise, was treated wonderfully and got a car for LESS than I paid for the Budget reservation. I'm going to rent from Enterprise from now on.

I had a great experience renting a car at this location. AB was welcoming, courteous and professional. The car was clean, extremely comfortable to drive, AMAZING NAV system and great value for money. Thank you AB for having great manners and happy approach!

WORST customer service. I was super friendly and the worker was VERY rude… and on top of that my reservation wasn’t ready even though I got an email and text saying that it was. Worst pick up location ever!

This car rental place charged me with fuel even though I filled it up when I returned the car. When I returning the car, the person working in the counter did not open the door and asked me to just dropped the keys through door slot. I asked him to if he's not going to check the car but he waved me off. My mistake is that I did not insisted that he check the car with me. Which this is usually the procedure with other car rental companies. So if you decided to rent a car in this location is that you insist that he checks the car with you and if you are with agreement, asked for the documentation. This will save you the hassle of calling Budget rental car company and trying to prove that the additional charges are not true. Really disappointed that this person added malice charges.

Automatically when I walked in the door I got asked to wait outside... I don't know why ? Old dude had an attitude or somethingDidn't have a vehicle ready for me eitherWould not recommend, do the right thing and don't go with this rental lol

I needed a car that would be under my $40/day reimbursement threshold. Found one through Priceline and made the reservation. When I showed up, they refused to honor the reservation and pricing because the car isn't available. I know this is nonsense having that I used to work in the car rental business many years back. Despite that and after some discussion, I agreed to rent a car at $40.99/day plus taxes and fees just so that I can get on with my day. That put me over budget by $6/day but I figured I would deal with it up until I find another rental. Luckily, the dealership was able to come through with a loaner car and so I went back to return the rental. To my surprise the door was locked and nobody was there even though the sign said they were open and it was just 3 in the afternoon. I had to wait about half an hour for them to show up finally. Then for some reason, he couldn't provide me a receipt and said that Budget will email me one. They didn't. I then called Budget days later since I still had not received my receipt and found myself in prompt hell. After going in circles for almost an hour, I hung up and called this local office. It was about 5 minutes before closing. He stated he couldn't help me because they are closed and to call in the morning (why would you pick up the phone if you are closed?). The next day I called and he faxed over my receipt...finally. However, now I see that the rental went from $40.99 to $51.00/day. No explanation. Just another day of ripping people off for these guys. This makes me a victim of bait and switch twice.This is the absolute worst customer service experience and exhibition of poor business ethics that I have seen in recent memory. Stay away. Don't use Budget. Unless you like been taken advantage of and getting conned.

need to get in contact with AB supervisor Rich I had the worst experience with AB he didn't do his job when we picked the car up he didn't Walk around the car And do the inspection he never came out to do the inspection he never filled the pink slip out or had us initial it saying what things were wrong with the car we took pictures and tried to show him he waived us off and said it's fine go ahead then when we returned the car he's blaming us for things that were wrong with the car when we picked it up then he hung up on me told me to come in when I went in to look at car he was gone and stayed gone til it was time to close then he wouldn't give me his supervisor number he shut the door on me being very rude and nasty

They had only one car available when I went for the pickup and the car literally smelled like cigarette and weed. I drove for 50 miles and saw a notification saying oil life 0%.The worst car I’ve ever rented.
