When I dropped off the car, the person working said “you better have filled it up”.I said I paid for the gas package and he said “we’ll see.”Sent me a claim for scratches on the car. I didn’t scratch the car, drove home from Vegas and then it stayed in a garage overnight.I’ve been renting exclusively with AVIS for work for 4 years now this is the first time anyone’s accused me of damaging a rental.

I am also extremely surprised by some of these negative reviews. The branch manager was every bit a gentleman and really went above and beyond to make sure that I had a nice clean car at the crack of closing. The car I got was brand new but he was somewhat apologetic for it being 'dusty' and offered me a slight discount which was not necessary at all. The entire process was smooth, efficient, and had the utmost in customer service. I will definitely be coming back here in the future.

I called to get a rental and spoke to Jim the manager. I questioned him about their rates bec they’re quite a bit higher than other companies. I asked why they were so much higher & he told me to call Enterprise then hung up on me. So that’s what I did and they gave me a way better rate with way better customer service! So instead of Avis call Enterprise they’re better even Jim the Avis manager said so.

Why did you charge me $25 almost three months later ???I called Avis customer service and asked why . They said Tesla supercharge fee for supposedly not returning the car fully charged . Which I did .I took pics , videos and have receipt still saved with me .Do you think you could scam me ???Wrong !This is bad business what you are doing !Please people , don’t rent here , and if you rent here , save receipt and pictures or videos for months !I found out this location do this kind of shady stuff hours later I rented the car . So I have to keep all proof for my own protection.I returned car in June ,2 months later, it’s august , I’m getting weird charges in my credit card !Fraudulent people ended to be reported .Going to make the complaint with bbbChao !

I called this location to get a rental for a customer and I spoke with Jim the manager. He gave me some rates and I thought that they were high so I questioned him. He got bothered by my questions & told me to write down the numbers that he was giving me. I was trying to figure out how they figure their prices so I asked for clarification also why their daily rates were higher than say Enterprise? Jim told me to call Enterprise & hung up on me. So I called Enterprise & got a better rate & way better customer service. Jim the manager suggested that we call Enterprise maybe you should take his advice too!

Racist. Just tried to take my boyfriend here to pick up a rental car on my way to work and had it reserved for 8:45 AM. Get there and have to wait 30 minutes for anyone to show up. When the man shows up he tries to say both his credit card and debit card declined and he couldn't rent him a car. He has thousands available on both cards. His whole energy was off and now I'm driving him to a different location and will be late for work.

Be aware of this place ! When you rent here , please save receipt an d take pictures and videos and keep it for at least 3 months or maybe more .I got charged $25 after 2 1/2 months later .I had to call the Avis to get the money back .I asked why and they said Tesla supercharge fee for no returning the car fully charged . Which I did . I told agent on the phone I took videos and pics and everything. They give me my money back .Please , take pictures and save it for you own good .

The car this location provided us smelled like cigarettes, I immediately had a headache and had to roll down all windows. Furthermore, the vehicle had the service needed light but the employee kept rudely cutting me off and insisting that "that's how all of our cars are"... go rent somewhere else.

AB has been such a pleasure to work . I am in shocked with the negative review because I have rented cars specifically from this location and have had nothing but a great experience . Not sure if this is Avis or the local shop. I have a valid DL from Colorado- clean record, commercial license. I drive emergency vehicles for over 20 years. Just renewed my DL. Booked reservations through Costco. Out visiting and the Avis store is saying my DL is being rejected through their DL scanning system. Called Avis customer service 2 times, they say all clear. Store manager refused to make any phone calls to verify their system works for out of state DLs. I called Colorado DMV and verified all is good with my DL. I even offered to provide a DMV printout showing a valid DL. Store manager wouldn’t take it. Wasted 2 hours trying to rent a car there. Called enterprise and no issues. Don’t waste your money here. I truly think they are trying to steal identities and credit card numbers. Customer service all had broken English. Store worker broken English. Don’t trust them. Time will only tell if my identity was stolen.

Came to this location to rent a car while we’re in town helping my mother in law move into her new apartment. We have rented at other Avis locations with no problems, the last one being 2 weeks ago in Colorado. The old man at the front desk said my wife’s drivers license was “declined” and told us he couldn’t give us a reason why. Her driving record is COMPLETELY clean. We were given no help, no basic customer service and a HORRIBLE attitude from the old man. We also waited for 45 minutes outside before we were even helped. Others waiting outside with us also expressed dissatisfaction with this location for innumerable reasons. This location needs to close immediately or be restaffed. ALSO we got a rental car from another company immediately after with no issues. We will NEVER use Avis again because of this experience and will make sure none of our friends and family do either.

This was by far the worst customer service experience at a rental car agency. The bar for that kind of business is already kind of low, but the attendant took it down to a totally new level.He is just plain rude and every time you have a question he says "look at your contract" or "call customer service". Useless from a customer service point of view.We rented the car for 8 days are being charged for 10 days. I noticed the higher charge but after inquiring about it, he immediately dimissed me and asked me to "look at my contract".Whatever you do, don't EVER use this location.Tried calling customer service but they were done for the day before 6 PM.Never renting from AVIS ever again, especially from this location.

The worst experience! Do not make this a pick-up location for your reservation! I was supposed to pick up a car at 8 am the following day.The night before at 6:30 pm I receive a call about how they couldn't secure a car for me. I have spent the last hour making phone calls and getting hung up on with no help or ability to secure a car for tomorrow.Why is this place even in business? It's a total joke, the guy who called offered 800 numbers and no real solution. At the very least, I should've gotten a call during normal business hours so this could've been taken care of.

I’ve rented here often before Covid. Owner was always nice and accommodating. I don’t know what happened, he looks kind of miserable lately. It’s just the state of the industry. Avis says there is a car available, I reserve, I go to pick up, owner has none, tells me to call customer service, Avis tells me to rent from Lake Forest location. Really stupid. Maybe a lot of the bad reviews are just the owner on a bad day when he has to deal with frustrated customers?

The WORST customer service.. after I dropped my car off the guy called me back and said I had to come clean out the car or I would be charged $150. He was complaining about my hair. He was so rude and threatening. When I tried calling back he wouldn't answer the phone. I had the car for 3 weeks and it wasn't an unreasonable amount of shedding. Surely their vacuum could get it during the cleaning process.
