The people at this store...Ashley (mgr), Jamie, are all so helpful and kind. They will do whatever they can to help you find what you are looking for in a fun and exciting way. The make great suggestions and offer different ideas. It is always so fun to come to the MV store to shop or just say Hi! Chris was the mgr here before and he was also so great (he is at Fashion Island now) As you can tell I have been shopping here for a bit and keep coming back, not only because the products/clothes are so comfy because of the employees you have! Thank you for making this store a great experience!

Thank you Athleta for a hassle free exchange! I purchased a pair of exercise pants that came unraveled after only a few months. This is unusual for this brand. Their pieces are well made. They're my fav exercise pants! Fit is amazing! Extremely soft, comfy snug fit, with the perfect amount of compression, and pockets that hold my phone. Sometimes things just happen so customer service is super important, even after the purchase. Thank you Athleta for making it right! Great store, great product, great service! Thanks Kelly!

We met Jamie in the Athleta store tonight. She greeted us and immediately began to help us shop. She was so helpful and knowledgeable about what would look good on us. She continued to bring us clothes to try until we found exactly what we were looking for. What a great shopping experience! Thank you Jamie for all of your help!!

I’m so disappointed in today’s customer service. I am a frequent shopper and a huge fan of Athleta everything. I am part of the FitPro program as well. I went to make a return today and the woman who was helping me made me feel embarrassed and ashamed for making a return. She asked me multiple times “are you sure you want to return these?”. Then she even guilted me about not being able to give the athleta bag back. She does not know my circumstances and we should not be made to feel guilty for returning anything ever. First time I’ve ever felt pushiness to make a sale at this store. I will be spending the extra time and money to drive to another location. Super let down today by their customer service. Do better Athleta.

Whomever Cashier 1593150 is they are a consummate professional. Having been a retail store manager I know how painful a large return can hurt your daily sales plan if you can't overcome it with an exchange. What the cashier didn't know was my man was just admitted to the hospital and we'd just canceled our trip to Italy due to illness and I was barely maintaining vs bawling. I was in no condition to deal with an exchange. That said, she greeted me as her friend, didn't blink, warmly received my return, gave me excellent, exceptional ideas for an exchange but just not today. I was so impressed I will purposely return to this store vs online for my next purchase since they are my favorite pant, the store was beautiful and this associate would ensure I found what I needed and prevent another return. Promote her - she's fantastic!

Unfortunately I spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on leggings... For the last four years it's been at Athleta but I will never again spend a single penny there ever after the horrible experience I had today with Sarah the fuchsia haired sales associate at Mission Viejo mall. I brought in a completely unopened package of leggings that had been mail ordered for an even exchange on sizing. Because they were bought on Icon status there was a 15% discount on them. She refused to do an even exchange on them even though I just received these in the mail four days ago... And wanted to only give me store credit for the discounted amount towards the exact same pair in store. She then proceeded to belittle and humiliate me in front of other clients in the store. She poked her finger in my face and said FYI I can Yelp all I want but it'll be about online returns only not about her which obviously this is only about her POOR ATTITUDE AND COMPLETE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE OR KNOWLEDGE ON THE EXCHANGE POLICY. she is NOT new so no excuses. I have never ever had an issue with any return at Athleta at any other store ever. I can see why Malls are losing these brick and mortars. No one wants to be treated like a second class citizen or like they are gaming the system to do a simple exchange on new tagged product with a receipt. Unfortunately this has soured my opinion after last week being in the same store and having a similar experience with a friend that was with me with the same girl. She needs to go!! She doesn't even deserve this minimum wage job. That mall is a ghost town and I can see why... Simon needs to make some kind of rule towards who they hire must have some sort of personability or they will be bankrupt in no time. Athleta I expected more from you as well probably more then most companies as you tout being so return friendly. Shameful. She proceeded to make rude derogatory comments to me as I walked out after I had to demand she give me back the pair I already owned. It was unbelievable and personally I wish it was videos bc I would love to see Athleta fire her over twitter. But that's next so it's Instagram Facebook and every other platform including LinkedIn that will hear about this experience. At least I don't have her same fate, a minimum wage job struggling my life away at her age, so grateful I never have to grovel and waste away at a menial job. One note on the store was it reeked of cigarette smell I'm assuming from Sarah? But it was like an ashtray in there. I've never noticed that before so it's definitely not the mall or the usual smell of the store itself. Gross

Thank you Hailee for making it possible to get our Yoga on with Julie " The Yoga Goddess" in the middle of your store before opening today. We all Appreciated a nice discount on Athleta clothing today for our donations to ThredUp. I love all the fun Spring time colors you offer right now. I visited the athleta store this week and I was assisted by Katie. Katie was very kind , helpful and efficient. She was able to assist me with a return and an online order. I will not hesitate to visit this athleta store again due to the kindness of their staff and awesome Katie!

Private 'Shop Parties' during public shopping hours? Other customers turned away and the 'party' is a yoga class during covid 'purple tier'. Guests of class removed masks during the indoor practice & set about 3 ft apart. No notice on website or door until the store was closed 10 minutes after I got there. Multiple customers turned away, not cool nor covid safe. Too bad yoga studios can not hold indoor classes, yet this store can shut down to do them.

Love this brand but at this location the real stars are the staff, they are friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back to this location because of the service.
