I bought a new, (still in the retail unopened box) Ryobi portable band saw from these guys on Craigslist. I live in Santa Barbara and I had my girlfriend pick it up for me as she lives in their general area. Everything was going along fine until she went to pick it up. When she arrived, (unasked) the salesperson opened the box, took out all the contents, and ran the saw for a few moments. Then he put the saw in the open box and handed it to her. Unfortunately, they took the liberty of not including the rest of the box's contents. When I retrieved the box from her, the 2 new unused saw blades (that are always included with this saw) were nowhere to be found.I contacted the pawn shop and when I asked where the saw blades were they checked the trash but it had already been taken away. At that point, we went back and forth on how the resolve this situation that they had caused. I asked for a $25 refund, and they said no and that they would buy 2 replacement blades and send them to me. The package arrived and there were 2 problems, first, they only sent me one blade. The second problem was that the blade was not for the saw they sold me. The teeth ran the wrong way and this blade would not work in the Ryobi. Worse, trying to use it would have probably resulted in somebody getting hurt. If you know how a portable band saw works, this will be obvious to you. In any case, they demanded that I return the inc correct blade they sent me and at that point, I had had enough of their run-around and BS. I won't do business with them again and I advise you stay clear.

I HAVE NOTHING BUT COMPLIMENTS FOR THIS PAWNSHOP AND OWNER. IVE KNOWN JACK FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND HE HAS ALWAYS GIVEN ME FANTASTIC DEALS! HE IS SO KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL AND HAS A COMPOSURE THAT CANT BE BEAT. I ONLY LIVE TWO DOORS DOWN IN THE GRAY TOWNHOMES. As to anyone whom reads this, I felt and feel compelled to remark on as to just wo well Jack the ower/operator is holding it down at Mission Pawn . Through is undeniably gracious nature makes you feel right at home and as if he is welcoming you into his home !! With a garuntee to find what ever it is your looking for with the best prices in town as to the condition of his products. I just to thank you for handle my business with you as a true professional and I know that I will have future business with mission , I would give it 10 stars if that possible and highly recommend for any all pawn opportunities or other business to alway use Mission Pawn!!! Worst place STAY AWAY they sell fake merchandise and offer crapy offers on whatever you bring hours say open at 10 when ever you go its closed worst service don't waist your time

Bought video games a few times here. First time was great. Got a good bundle deal on a bunch of video games that I cleared off the shelves. Second time, Hakop goes to the computer to do research on the prices of the games online to figure out a way to rip me off I guess. Not only that, but he tried to sell me a 15-20 dollar sealed Stephen King DVD for 50 dollars. Not sure what this dudes problem is or where he's researching his prices. A lot of the games they have are 2-3 dollar bin games at thrift shops. Walked out with like 5 items at 120 bucks. Would've been cheaper to buy this stuff on ebay.

Tried to stop by again and they said they can't give me any prices on items until the next day. Last time I tried to go here the shop was still closed an hour and a half past the posted opening time. Shop is a total joke.

These dudes are awesome. Took their time and helped me size a ring for my girl even though it wasn't super expensive. Even gave me a box for the two rings I bought. A lot of good music gear also guitars guitar pedals amps etc. thanks holmes. Not enough hospitality in a lot of other in pawn shops these days. I have never written a review either I had to for these dudes.

Always good vibes & always amazing service every time I come here, definitely one of the best pawn shops in the entire valley definitely offers better prices & payouts than all the other pawnshops I tried, definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to pawn, sell, or buy items
