“My husband and I come here every time we’re in town for the food!!! Mela is a grocery store with quality authentic indian food made by the family who owns the store. We are from the Coachella valley and we make the travel to taste their food here. The samosas rice and chicken are amazing! It’s soo bomb! Crisp and flavorful! The flavors taste the same every time! “Amazing service at this location. The produce department went above and beyond to help me out. I thought this location had a floral department so I went there and my heart sank when I realized that they only had cut floral bouquets but not really a florist on site. I talk to the check out lady and she said we might be able to help you. She sent me to the cut fruit department and the produce manager and Eva worked to gather supplies to make a nice wrapped bouquets for a wedding. Shout out to Eva and the other person (sorry, his/her name was really hard so I can’t spell it). I was told she was the one who put the artistic touch on it. Anyway, thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

“This is an amazing store, it's not just Stater bros it's a shopping experience. Sushi bar burrito bar, fresh fruit bar, custom bakery and seafood and smoke house in the meat section.”
“The newly remodeled store has more selections. It seems to target more Hispanic costumers since they added sweet bread and Agua Fresca stand. Produce is always wonderful! service at first the lady seemed annoyed maybe a lil rude but after I made a comment that store being my store years ago she seemed switch and was attentive. service changed and she ended up being pleasant ambiance is regular store they always play great music . I'll always stop here given the opportunity. My mom used to live on redwood , we were at this store daily.”

“I come in to this location off River road a couple times a week in the morning around 7 to 8 am and always see the same girl Madison working up at the front. Everytime I see her working I am greeted with a smile on her face, if I found everything I needed, and wishing me a great day. She always goes the extra mile to help me out and has the best customer service up front that I have seen in a long time from this location, she leads with a great example to the rest of the store that is lacking customer service!! I have seen her do this with other customers, as well as helping keep the store clean. just wanted to give her acknowledgment there's not that many great workers out there I hope you guys promote her or recognize her in some sort of way! Great workers like this make me want to continue shopping at your beautiful store.”

“I'm not sure why all the negative reviews because I haven had any issues in the 2 years since I moved in the area. I guess only the disgruntled people are writing reviews. The store is always clean and stocked. The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Everyone has a bad day at work on occasion, and I can see it in their face, but never got an attitude from them. The only thing I hate is the Stater Bros brand of products, but that's corporate's fault. The shopping center is always busy but not unmanageable. I also wish they had order pick up at this location. I have to go to another location for that. Otherwise I'd give them 5 stars.”
