I was greeted by an older gentleman by the name of Bob. He asked me what I was coming in for and he walked me through exactly what I needed and options on how to do it. Meeting Bob was the highlight of my week , not only day. He was so nice and genuine, you could tell that helping other people brings joy to Bob and being helped by Bob has brought joy to my life. God bless him, the store is good at keeping items in stock and the other employees always seem happy as well. Hopefully this review pays off and others visit thanks to how Bob helped me. Bob in lumber is the man!

At 6:55pm/7:10pm on 8/22/2023, Home Depot in Milpitas. I was shopping for garden bricks in this location and pushing my cart with only 4 different pieces of brick to a cashier to check out for me. The cashier refused to look for each of the unit prices from the price list on the monitor and instead asking customers to walk back to garden center to screen photo the unit prices to solve her problem! Is this how this corporate management teaches their cashier not to solve customer issues or give hassle their customers? She is the only cashier (white/ Latina, 5'7" tall, long blonde hair, mid/late 20s, chubby) standing in the register lane at that time and when I said to her "shouldn't be your job duty to look for the unit prices?" then she simple ignored my cart/bricks by pushing it aside and scanned the customers' orders behind me. I then asked to speak with a manager, she called but no manager come out to solve the issue and I was standing waiting for 20 minutes for nothing. This store does not provide any customer service or good manner. The staff don't even greet customers or ask if you need any help. Why would this Hone Depot hire people to ask customers to solve problems for them and being irresponsible when there is a customer service complaint? Customers spend money and corporate hire cashier, store managers, staffs there doing nothing but to pocket paychecks and command customers to do their jobs? Customers should buy stuff online so they don't need to suffer with this type of bad customer service or attitude from the local staff!

This is absolutely ridiculous. I bought a dryer and it doesn't function. They give me a replacement, still doesn't work and was told to clean my vents. So I did, the dryer still doesn't work. Technician comes and says dryer wasn't cleaned. So I personally clean the dryer vents. Dryer still doesn't work. I contact Home Depot text services and they just disconnect. Wtf This is beyond frustrating, wish I never got a new dryer.

I shop at this store quite a bit, but recently the store has changed. They have a new store manager named Tule who has made it horrendous. He wants to make all sorts of changes and will not work with the community. Bottom line - he is NOT a team player, but perceives the store as his own private playground. Skip this Home Depot and choose another.

Came to by one simple item a small item at that and Home Depot is such a large hardware store it's easy to get confused, looked at signage for directions but again such a large hardware store. I did asked an associate for help and he gave me such attitude for asking for help for such a minor item which was a closet ring for the wooden stick to hold clothes, sends me down an aisle and literally nuts and bolts and door latches. Asked another associate that was more helpful and finally found what I was looking for, just feels like customer service in not that stores forte (Milpitas great mall) as no associate wanted to walk me to the aisle and point out to me the items. I did notice that they have signes for a downloadable app the will show you exactly were items are but then if your not a regular shopper why do you need the app when you can ask associate (you would think) miss the mom and pop hardware stores from back in the days.

Thank you for the veterans discount.DANGER - Don't get a flat tire! Please repair your parking lot. See photo of a serious example of rebar sticking straight out toward your tire. Not sure if it is really YOUR parking lot to maintain or the mall's, but either way, it needs repaired.(-1 star ... if not your responsibility I'll update my review accordingly)

I generally find what I'm looking for. If you use the app, it tells you which Bay it's in so it's very helpful in locating things. The only thing I occasionally find frustrating is when I can't find an associate to help me when I have questions.

Went to home depot and no one to help you. Ask a guy and he just point to the sign. So I have to cut my own piece of molding and took it to cashier.

When I need appliances, my go to is Lowes. But I wanted to see the GE stove and microwave/hood before I bought and Home D had it on the floor. From past experience, HD is great IF you are a knowledgeable DIYer. While the employees are nice, if you need advice/info, you will be disappointed. Do your own research about the appliance you want, verify the model # they order to make sure it meets your requirements. In my case, the item ordered was not correct so I had to return the next day to fix it. The appliance person had me help her find YouTube videos to explain how an OTR micro vents...sometimes you just gotta laugh when things get absurd. And then you gotta leave and come back again when the next shift arrives. Delivery was delayed a week due to the correction. So watch your Youtube vids at home, do your own research, take notes and just accept that you will be making multiple trips to Home Depot no matter what....

We came and visit the Home depot here at Milpitas to buy materials for carpet replacement and waited for someone to help us cut the carpet we chose. We approached one of the employee and paged the person who is assigned in that department. We waited for about 30 minutes and no one care to help. We then approached another employee for the second time and was told that they will help us out. Waited again for another 30 minutes or so and still no one help. We asked again for the third time and was told that the person who is assigned on that department is out to pick up his kid??? Pick up his kid while on the clock?? That doesn't make sense!! We were told that we have to wait until that employee comes back for another 30 to 45 minutes. We left frustrated!!!! ZERO rating!!!

im going to keep this short and sweet. There are 5 people IF ANYTHING that are truly helpful here. Dont go here. Go to Lowes or buy your stuff online. None of these people know what theyre doing. HOME DEPOT DO BETTER. YOUR STAFFS PERSONAL PROBLEMS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS. Oh and your customer service need to be fired.
