The printing team of the store is rude, I usually go to get help and as the manager has helped me her staff aren't to nice, and the other store manager excuse was that he doesn't know how to complete that task. My frustration is that as the girl continued to express to tell me that she couldn't help me she stopped three times to talk to any other customer that came up. As for the other two people who were working back there ... they walked away and let her assist with six people in the FedEx line.

I went to the Milpitas Staples on November 07, 2023, to ship a package and the service I received was AWFUL!!!! Usually, when I come into the store to buy products or ship a package the employees are nice and friendly and are willing to assist me if needed. Not the employee by the name of Matthew! Another sales associate called him to the UPS shipping area to assist me and the look on his face told me that he was coming with an attitude of "I don't want to help this lady out and I hate my job." When he asked if I had shipped to the recipient before I told him I wasn't sure and that just set him off! Rather than look to see if I had he started to complain about having to fill out a shipping document. It took about 10 minutes of him "complaining" to finally look up my account to see if I had, and I had. At one point I told him his attitude was not acceptable, but "MATTHEW" did not seem to care. I did call to report him to the manager of the store and the manager said he would be taking corrective action with Matthew, and I hope he does. And when Staples sent me their standard email a day later to ask about the service I received I did let them know as well what transpired that day. I hope no other customer has to interact with him when they are in the store. I do need to let you know that the other sales associates I have run into while shopping at Staples-Milpitas have always been pleasant. I do understand times are tough with stores being understaffed and having to deal with rude customers sometimes, but this guy was unbelievable. And this is not the first post on Yelp about him.

Lousy customer service! I wanted to buy a desk and a chair today and they told me there was no way to power the desk on so I can see how it adjusts since it's a powered desk. Not willing to help not willing to do anything. Lousy customer service!

The employees that work are usually kind and receptive when they are free. The issue is they understaffed and they really just don’t have enough time.

Tried to call a couple of times. First time, whoever picked up just left me on the phone. Did not even mute themselves or put me on hold. Next few times they just hung out while it was ringing.

I went to this store for passport photos and the cashier called to the person in charge of photos department, the guy came with such a bad attitude towards me just saying about sit down here and look at the camera , without any suggestion how to pose for the passport photos requirements, he just took two shots and showed me the photos and I said maybe one more shot to see I feel myself comfortable with this one and he got mad as whether I don't have the right to ask for something that I'm going to pay for, then after that argument he ask me to go towards the counter to pay for the photos. And wait for a couple of minutes to print them. Such a bad attitude of this guy with frustration about his job possibly, by the way his name is Matthew , by employees like him the stores lost costumers and preferred to buy on line or using apps to avoid this kind of individuals and the stores close letting good employees without a job

If I could give a zero star, I would for its Amazon Return station. The Amazon Return here is the worst return experience that I have ever had. The lady actually asked me to stand there for more than ten minutes waiting for her to figure out how to fit my return product to her box. When I checked, she asked me to wait until she figured out how to fit the return product in her box before she could scan the code and let me go, as if she could reject my return if the product could not fit in the "very specific box". The process or the employee training is certainly very problematic.

I came to this Staples location this week twice, and both times had surpassed my expectations. My initial project was printing glossy labels for an event, and the turn around time was very quick. Ruby had called me on the phone and told me that the labels could print 'better' if she used the major printing distribution center of Staples (which involved shipping it out). My event was for Thursday, and she was able to get things completed in two days! And they looked phenomenal too. Her attention to detail and excellent communication made the process easy and worthwhile. My second project was business cards (but for prayer cards for a funeral). This was extremely last minute since we had gotten our digital versions back so late, but Staples had an amazing turnaround time. I had placed my order and it was completed within three hours! It wasn't expected for another 7 hours, but I received the email very fast, and had seen my example immediately. They printed beautifully, clear, and perfect to carry around in wallets. During such a difficult time, Staples made it easy to get organized, stunning, prints in time. I was amazed at the quality, turnaround time, and value most of all. The cost was very fair and the results were breathtaking too. Thank you to Ruby for all of your help, you were wonderful and took care and consideration in my project as if it were your own.

Staples is usually my go-to store for printing papers and buying office supplies, so I decided to visit today to print some passport photos. Initially, I had a positive experience with a helpful and multitasking young lady at the counter. She was doing an excellent job, assisting others while attending to my printing needs. However, things took a turn for the worse when another employee, a man wearing glasses who appeared to be a manager, took charge of taking my photos. Unfortunately, this particular employee seemed disinterested or frustrated with his work. Instead of providing helpful answers, he responded to my questions with more questions. The passport photo he took had an undesirable glowing effect on the sides of my face, which clearly did not meet the standards set by the state department. I requested a retake, emphasizing the need to avoid the shiny effect caused by the excessive backlighting. In response, he simply said, "How would I do that?" It was disappointing to encounter such unprofessionalism, especially considering that ensuring accurate photos is part of his job description. After all, I wasn't at a refugee camp where pictures are taken for free. The second unpleasant incident occurred when I asked if he could cut the photo to standard passport size. His response, "I am not following what you are saying," was quite baffling. It was a simple request, yet he seemed incapable of understanding it. Frustrated, I approached another store employee for assistance, who had been helpful until I asked if he could cut the photo, he replied, "I can cut one, but I won't cut the other because it takes time." Keep in mind that there was no one waiting behind me, and yet he was unwilling to allocate the time for such a basic task. It was an extremely unprofessional and shocking experience. In contrast, the initial lady who assisted me was friendly and provided good service. Unfortunately, these two male employees exhibited an unpleasant and unhelpful attitude. In today's highly competitive market, one would expect employees to treat customers well and be proactive in providing assistance. However, these two individuals acted as if they were completely disillusioned with their jobs and harbored resentment towards anyone seeking paid services. It is my hope that the management takes notice of such employees and addresses their behavior. With so many options available to customers, it is crucial for businesses to prioritize exceptional customer service and ensure that all employees uphold professional standards.

Pretty good and clean Staples with a wide selection of products. While I usually stop by just to print and copy or pick up my print orders, I can see why small business and office owners would love this store :)
