SJ Accounting Consulting, Inc is my regular go to service for doing my taxes and I absolutely love this firm. They are super punctual and always on time in filing taxes. They are very clear in their instructions on what is needed, and once I provide all documents, the taxes are done seamlessly without any follow ups. This is our 3rd year filing taxes with Sean. Each year he has been extremely responsive with answering questions/emails, and has gotten our taxes done in a very timely manner. Communication is easy via email and Dropbox is used for file storage, making it very convenient and accessible. We have felt comfortable using Sean to help with our taxes, which involve independent contract work and deductions outside the standard W2.

Sean is super quick, responsive, and helpful. I would highly recommend his service. With this quarantine and extension for tax filing, somehow it slipped my mind that taxes were almost due. I greatly appreciated the fact that you could request a consultation through Yelp. I filled out the "First-Time Client Form & Quote" online, answered some questions, and got a quote shortly after submitting it. Just a FYI, minimum preparation fee if $400. But we've messed up doing our own taxes before on Turbo Tax and had to pay a hefty interest fee for our error. For that reason, I have been willing to pay more to make sure that doesn't ever happen again. My husband and I have multiple properties which is why we just don't even try to do taxes on our own anymore. With this quarantine, everything was done online and was quick. We had a meeting online, Sean set up a cloud folder for us to drop our files, and he had our tax return ready within ONE DAY! SUPER FAST! We were able to sign everything off with DocuSign. If you're tech savvy and want someone who is quick, responsive, and thorough, Sean is your guy!

Sean filed my personal taxes, and also amended previous returns where TurboTax had incorrectly processed my Schedule K forms. We were able to exchange tax forms electronically via Google Drive after an initial meeting at his office. Sean was straightforward and easy to communicate with. He was quick to respond to my emails, even outside office hours.

My entire family has been using the same accountant for years but she finally retired. In my search I found Sean and I'm very glad I did! I've been doing things in a less-than-optimal manner for years without knowing it and he straightened up my books in ways I would never have figured out. I would highly recommend him and have referred many of my colleagues and family.

Sean is very prompt and responsive. We used his tax filing services and have no complaints. The process was easy, convenient, and reasonably-priced. Sean is very good with explaining how things affect our taxes, and he gave us advice on our withholdings for the future. Sean is a very competent accountant. I have used a few so I know the difference. I have to admit Sean is a bit pricey and probably over my budget. The reason I kept using him is he will actually go over your case and plan for you. Most CPAs want easy cases so they do it cheaply at high volume. Although Sean charges a bit more, you will cover it with saving on taxes.
