Love the brand. I wanted not to believe the reviews, but the last 5 times I've been there, the "lady" or manager is so offputting, I swear the next time I'm in that mall, I'm never going in there again. When we go in there, she practically tries to shoo us out. She always rings up the wrong price and she always does it manually. I suspect she is skimming off the top. She also doesn't honor the discounts as printed on the signs, saying "oh, that's not included on the sale." This is an outlet mall, already. I always have to ask the lanky 20 year old sales person to confirm the prices. It's like she doesn't want the store to succeed. I don't know why they don't hire someone just nice.

What an experience! ‘Was trying an apparel just a few minutes ago at the Milpitas Great Mall store. Was holding a sweatshirt that I tried on, on one hand and was looking for another one that was less wrinkled. I grabbed 2 more that I inadvertently held together with the one that I was already holding, but put them back because the one that I was holding was less ruffled. There was this African American lady who rudely cut in front of me and grabbed the item that I put back in the rack. She said that I couldn’t put it back bec that was the one that I tried on (without explaining what she was doing). I asked why and she said that “it has to be sanitized bec it was the one that you tried on”. I was positive that what I was holding was the one I tried on but she said “don’t argue with me”. Turned out that she was the manager. Asked for her name but she said that “I don’t have to give you my name”. I have no problem with store policies with regard to “sanitation” especially in the advent of covid as long as it’s done and explained properly. The manager was just plain rude. The question is, was I singled out bec I was Asian? I believe so. Makes me wonder if this mgr has a way of determining which items were touched by the customers and and if so, does she sanitize them all?…Why? Because I don’t see much difference between trying on and touching an apparel when it comes to covid.

They take a really long to ship online orders and when you contact them for customer service, they're not terribly helpfulHaving said that, they have excellent clothing and I'd you get it at the right time, good deals. I love their fleece hoodies in particular, which are comfortable enough to wear during cold nights, and nice looking enough to wear outside the house. I'll continue shopping on their website, though I wish they started using UPS. Their shipping through FedEx takes far too long and is fraught with delays, so when ordering, plan on it taking some 18-days for it to arrive.

Don't order from their website, unless you enjoy extended delays and boilerplate responses from their "customer service," team. Never again!

Cmon original Penguin you guys gotta do better at who you hire. The African American lady here today refused to take my return before I even showed her the clothing already has an attitude as soon as I came inside the store. I asked if I can rerun my clothing purchase online and she already begins to get upset and takes the clothes, starts opening them and says no! I handed her a sealed package from FedEx that I received. You need to hire customer friendly employees because this woman should not be around other human beings!
