“I have been in the service industry all my adult life..(18 yrs retail / 8 yrs real estate / 12 yrs insurance) so I am naturally very sensitive to the kind of treatment I receive when I'm looking for any kind of services in the market.
i had been a Progressive customer for over 15 yrs and wasn't necessarily unhappy with the service but I definitely didn't feel like I had a relationship with the company and in fact, I didn't even know who my agent was and so I decided it was time to shop around.
Enter Mike Myers and his excellent team at State Farm in Campbell, CA (shout-out to Tina) for her fantastic service and incredible turn-around time with claims and support!
As mentioned above, I am very cognizant of the kind of service I'm getting and Mike and Tina and the team were more than accommodating, they were pro-active in a way I have never experienced with ANY company or service that I can remember and i just can't state enough how refreshing it is to know that I have a great team of quality folks looking out for my interest, whether it be service or cost effectiveness, they take care of everything!
Cases in Point:
I have had a couple of incidents that occurred after receiving my State Farm policy, one incident involving a rental car that got a crack in the windshield (not something I considered when refusing the rental insurance) when I was traveling in Arizona that was going to cost over $600 and in fact had already been charged to my credit card for not opting for aforementioned insurance. Well, they got that debit reversed and I paid only a $100 deductible! Nice!
Secondly, I was sideswiped by an uninsured motorist and had over $6k in damages and Tina was masterful in handling the claim. Tina, I can't say enough just how pleasant it is to work with you. Thank you so much for all you did for me!
Like I said, these folks are pros at what they do.
Thanks, Mike and Tina, for your excellent service and pleasant way of transacting business. You are a stand-out in an industry full of poor service (and bots instead of humans) and you are truly a refreshing oasis in a sea of mediocrity.
