Stayed here for two nights for a business trip. The hotel is convenient for travel in the San Jose area. It was surprisingly quiet given the proximity to major streets - much better than the hotels near the airport.The room was adequate, but the furniture is starting to get long in the tooth and could use replacement (see photos).

I always stay here on business. Great service, clean rooms, and good prices.Great location with many food options close by and right near the freeway.Rooms: Always clean, spacious. I like the bathrooms and desk area.Nearby activities: Shopping, dining, easy bart ride to go to SF!Walkability: Close to the great mall and other restaurants.Food & drinks: In location bistro is nice and great service.

I can not give enough praise for the staff, service, cleanliness and comfort of our room. The location was not where we intended to stay during our vacation in the Bay Area- but we ended up booking the rest of our trip here after arriving.We had a hellish full day of travel hiccups and when we arrived at the hotel we originally booked -we realized immediately we would not be able to sleep on the poor excuse for a mattress. We visited in person 3 other area hotels explaining what we were looking for and the attitudes of the employees were questionable at best.Walking into the Courtyard Marriott we were greeted with smiles, courtesy , empathy and assisted quickly. The pool and palm tree view from our room patio was a great tension reliever. The room was spotlessly clean, a nice comfortable size with plush mattresses and the shower had amazing water pressure too! The beds were extremely comfortable and the atmosphere was just relaxing overall.We were so happy after our first night that we immediately reserved the rest of our stay here- even though the location was not very central to our visit and plans- but very worth that compromise!!!

This hotel was recommended by my friend Chris who is a Marriott Ambassador. Thanks for the great advice! I was able to shop all day and easily have a great dinner and awesome rest after catching my favorite television show. The staff and management were too shelf professionals. Thanks for the great referral and the awesome stay.I will definitely be coming back.Nearby activities: It's right at the incredible " Great Mall".No car or Uber is needed everything under the sun is walkable.

average hotel - same jaded service you'll get from the "youths" these days . always trying to be on vacation themselves ain't dey !they should clean the pool better / more often . is the courtyard after all . . !

I arrived later in the evening and went right to bed. I woke up to see the bathroom door was closed for some reason. I opened the door to a strong smell of sewage. The toilet looked clean so I used it. I wouldn’t stop flushing itself. The room was old and very outdated, but the bed and sheets were comfortable enough. Then I paid the over $7 for a bagel with cream cheese. At least the restaurant personnel were friendly.I told the desk agent about the issue with the smell and was offered an apology at least. It wasn’t worth $200 to start with, much less for such a disgusting experience. I’ll never stay here again, and I’ll make sure my company knows to avoid this Courtyard as well.

Kinda out it the way for a courtyard in silicon valley. Property was clean and well managed. Room was clean. Shower needed some maintenance and when I told them about it they responded gratefully.

We stayed two nights. The employees were really nice and friendly. The great mall was a short walk away that's why we decided to stay here.The room was kind of small. For the price you pay it would've been nice if it was a bigger room. The bathroom was big though. The shower could've been wider. It was long but felt cramped. My elbows bumped into the wall and the glass sliding door.The TV was big but the guide was annoying and the channels could've been better. You cannot plug in a Chromecast or a fire stick. They purposely block it off. Not a good thing.The bed was a king size. It was kind of firm. The pillows weren't comfortable.There was a couch and ottoman. It was nice and comfortable.There was a mini fridge and coffee maker. They were sufficient.The room was clean and we were able to check in early. I called when booking the room. I didn't get a discount. The price was the same as booking online so you might as well do that. Checking in was quick and easy. Checking out was even quicker and easier.We went to The Bistro for drinks at night. We ordered two shots of Makers Mark and two Old Fashioned drinks. The Old Fashioned drinks were just ok. I don't think the bartender made it right. It was missing ingredients like the orange peel and cheery. I would recommend you bring your own alcohol.You don't have to pay for parking.Overall, it was a good stay. I will come back again. I just wish the rooms were cheaper.Additional comments: Bring ear plugs! I forgot my ear plugs and I regret it. I could hear my neighbors when they showered at 6 am because the pipes made noise. There were also crazy people outside honking horns at all hours of the night. Just generally noisy. So do yourself a favor and plug those ears.Also, the wifi was free and it was about 10 Mbps.

Hate this place. Woke me up in the middle of the night with a fire alarm. No information from front desk. No explanation to what it was. Hate when your company books low end hotels like this. Basic food in the restaurant. Don't recommend.
