Sadly, their ATMs are always broken. Like, a genuine rarity if both work, or even one. 6 times in 3 months is inexcusable.

They are human beings and they work hard just like the rest of us. Just because we don't like their operation structure doesn't mean we should hate the people. Each worker here has been genuine with me. I can always hear the employees speak to customers from truth and understanding.

I have been banking with both for over four years. Never an issue, never a problem until now. There was a check that was cleared in my account without my knowledge. The bank decided to clear the check. I knew nothing about this check until I checked my statement. online. When I called the bank I was put on hold for over 30 minutes, then disconnected twice. The third person I talked to was a bit more understanding. The thing is as the customer money is being taken out of my account. Because of that check that the bank cleared, I have to have it deducted from my account. I'm very unhappy with this. That's all. Oh, my name is Wanda M.

She followed up all my questions at Milpitas branch and she til contact me for CD promotion even she works @ Bank of the West in Southern CA. I've been banking in this branch ever since and I am looking forward to the changes that will take place.

Please dont open up an account here. Bank of the West is nothing but trouble. Crooks that will steal your money, and to be honest they are lucky I cant screen shot through the actual app. This branch in general has no concept of customer service (managment sucks, but the actual tellers are very nice). No wonder why this branch has such bad reviews, not even one four or five star. Customer service makes a huge difference, I discussed my issues on my account with two branches, at this branch, the manager had so much attitude and brushed me off, the other branch took the time to look at my account with me. He listened to what I was saying, asked questions, said he would direct my concerns to his manager, And I was only coming in to ask for corporates number. I asked the Milpitas branch for corporates number and they tried to give me customer services number. I said no, someone higher up. And they were hesistant. Like how do people direct complaints if you cant provide me with anything but customer services number.???Asked the other branch for corporates number and no hesitation to look it up, but couldnt find the number. So if you are looking to complain to corporate good luck. I have the bank branches telling me customer service is higher up, and customer service telling me my home branch is higher up. I am in the process of closing my account (once I download all my statements). I have two bank accounts and this bank is the only one who gives me trouble. The manager at the other branch is urging me to keep my account because I have had an account with them for so long. But I will not let this bank get another dime from me. Please save your time, money and energy. Bank of the West does not care for its customers. They will steal your money. You obviously cannot get a hold of corporate. Its a hassle to ever get a hold of anyone on the phone. Simple task like adding your card to google pay is so difficult. This is the worst bank ever.

I have been to this location about three times now. The times that I've gone in, Alexis greets with a smile. Seems like she might be the branch manager. she's super sweet, professional and based off of overhearing her speak, she comes off very knowledgeable of what she is doing. An input I can mention is that she should help train the teller, especially the one named Isis. with my luck, I always get Isis to help me with my transactions. I believe that she needs more training in the customer service field as she can come off a bit rude, then when the transaction is done she gets nice. Another thing is that she takes a very very long time to process one transaction. I have never seen a slower teller then her. When I came into the branch, the first and second time, I didn't say anything because I thought she was new, but it just seems like this is how she works. She doesn't seem very passionate about her job or very welcoming when someone comes in.

Bank of the West on East Calaveras in Milpitas has got me to thinking about finding a new bank. My wife and I went to Bank of the West yesterday to create a new account for our Living Trust and the person who waited on us didn't seem to know what she was doing. We already had a checking account with Bank of the West but setting up the new account took essentially forever. It should have taken no more than 30 minutes but she kept us there for exactly one hour and 45 minutes doing what? I have NO idea. She worked on the computer, made copies of stuff, worked on the computer, called somebody on the phone, worked on the computer, called somebody on the phone again, then after about an hour, she said one of our documents needed to be rewritten and told us to go out to our car and do it there. What ? ? ? So we did that and went back to see her and she fiddled around for another 45 minutes doing more stuff while I almost fell asleep. We also wanted to deposit a small check but at the very end of all the processing of the paperwork, she said we would have to come back to deposit the check as they couldn't process it at that time. Exactly at 5:00 PM, when they closed, the woman packed up and went home. Never said anything like "Thank you for using Bank of the West" or anything liked that. The service left a lot to be desired to say the least. We need to find a bank with better service than what Bank of the West offers as their service, well, basically sucked.

Had an appointment but the banker didn't respect client's time and talked without compassion. Will never come back again.

I normally don't write reviews but I can't bare with the service I had to deal with yesterday . Me and my husband only wanted to open up a saving account simple as that . The Indian banker don't seem like want to help us maybe he don't get the Commission. So he keep pushing us to getting savings and checking we refuse he turned us away saying we can open the saving account online without coming into the branch. After asking us 100 question why we need to saving for even asked for income amount to my understanding this is not OK and not normal you don't ask for income right away without giving two identification up on applying . I am not applying for a cc I just wanted to open up a simple saving account. . After that I ask him so you can do it here he say no no no so unprofessional so disgusting . we give our business somewhere else they open for us no question ask within 20 minutes out of the chase bank. I feel so bad who Ever opened up account with the Indian older banker please don't screw people over your hidden interest with all this penalties please be professional be honest . .. Managers please train your staff's to be professional and respectful to all customers. -1 rating sorry .

If I was able to give this location 0 stars, I would. The branch manager has no sense of responsibility nor any reason why she is in her position. I understand that in times like this, you need to limit customers inside the bank. However, they need a way to control traffic and prioritize customers that arrive before others. It's unfair for people that have waited for their turn, only to be cut by people that have just arrived. The branch manager noticed this and did nothing about it. Also -- when we tried opening up a bank account, they managed to get the names on the account WRONG. At any bank, the banks make a photocopy of your ID and other additional information that proves your identity. It's very clear that this bank DOES NOT do their due diligence in handling customer information properly and if that is the case, I don't understand how anyone can trust this specific bank to handle their finances/money. We were also under the pretense that we were opening up an account under a specific promotion which entails: by depositing a specific amount, you'll be given a bonus after a certain time. Unfortunately, this promotion ends today and they somehow messed up our information while opening up an account. So it'll take another day to process, which means we'll miss the promotion as well. What a coincidence! Take it from me, folks. I rarely write reviews for places but the experience I had here was enough for me to hop online with my real identity to expose what kind of a s*** show this place represents. I'll personally reach out to corporate about my experience and have something done about this.

Worst bank I've ever been to. I have only had my account overdrawn twice, first time I called and they took it off because it was my first one. I had over 8 charges and they only charged me ONE overdraft fee. My account went over, over the weekend due to the deposit delay for the holiday. After the weekend was over they charged me 5 overdraft fees. And they claim they charge per item which is b******* because I had many things that cause my last overdraw and they only charged me once. The customer service on the phone claim they can't help at all that I would have to go in and talk to the manager, I did and the manager wouldn't even come out to talk to me. The worker said she would be calling me which she never did, and now they charged me 7 more overdraft fees when I haven't touched my account since! So a total of 12 overdraft fees and the manager nor customer service seem like they want to help at all. This was 2 weeks ago and just called in again and said I have to go back to the branch. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSE WHERE.
