Nina's been a patient of his for over a year now. Went in for a visit today and it just seems like the doctor is just trying to get the most money he can. There's nothing wrong with that I GUESS. Just be aware hes going to suggest unnecessary meds and then when you request specific meds he'll still include what you said you didn't need.
Offended because on my way out he stopped me until he could confirm that he was getting paid for his price gouging. Not sure why, as there's never been an issue before.

Dr Saini, Jay, and staff took care of our dog Lucy. I like Dr. Saini because he spends the first portion just talking to you about your dog and your dogs health and what has been occurring in the past and the present. I like how he takes his time to explain the situation. He is a caring doctor.

Updating on review. Still very happy with the way my Loki's ears turned out. They look better and better each day as he settles in to them. Couldn't be happier.

I was really unhappy with the service at Animal Medical Clinic. Right after leaving their clinic, I realized I was never given the actual prescription, just the NexGard flea chewables I purchased there. I quickly called and asked to be emailed a copy, and the receptionist put me on hold, mentioning she needed to ask Dr. Saini. She then promised it would be sent very shortly. After checking my emails and waiting a couple of hours, I called and spoke to the same receptionist. I told her that I have not received it yet. She insinuated that there was no rush. The flea medication I had just bought would last for 6 months, but since the doctor was in surgery, I was told they would send it end of day. I got the feeling that they did not want to send it after my second reminder. At this point, I felt like a bother having to call so often but I wanted to make sure my dog was taken care of. After all, I did spend almost $300 for it. I waited two days before calling again, I was then informed that Dr. Saini would finally write the prescription. It took me two days and three calls later to finally get a copy of the prescription. I assume I would have never received it if I hadn't remembered to ask, and in turn, I would have to pay for another exam after the 6-month supply ran out. Just so she can continue the same flea treatment that he stated she needs to be on for life. I’ve been reading a couple reviews where they call it a money grabbing business. It could have been that they forgot, mistakes happen. However, as a customer, I didn’t think it was right that I had to call three times just to get the prescription from Dr. Saini. I am usually not the type to do that but when it comes to pets, their care comes first. It made me feel incredibly annoying and bothersome.

Really sad that I even have to write a review but my plan with this vet has charged me $70 a month and I was just given the news I will now have to pay $115. That's an additional $540 a year!!!! No reason given. When I told them I would probably need to reevaluate if I could even keep it, they did not care. Money hungry vet clinic.

Brought my puppy for his visit. Doctor was nice. Explained things well but I was not pleased with the clinic. The girls at the FD were not very welcoming, and the clinic is defnitely outdated for the amount they charge. I was very grossed out too because there were blood spots on the lobby floor, I just kept my dog on my lap. Not sure if I will be returning back

Took my dog for his vaccine shots and at the time of scheduling, I had asked what was the cost for the Office visit and for the vaccine shot I was informed by the young lady in the office the office visit would be $72.00 and his shot would be $38.00, however, at the time of check out I was charged a lot more than what I was quoted just the day before the office visit. Then when I questioned the over charge, I was informed we changed our prices but then J explained that I just called in yesterday and you informed me of the provided prices so how overnight did the price change. Then I asked to speak to the doctor then the doctor informed me. Oh yes we just changed our prices this morning. so it seems like there not on the same page. The office staff said the price changed the day before and the doctor informed just this morning, price changes are ongoing and the staff is on different pages so depending on who's going to visit may be a person that has a price increase, so keep your notes of what you're getting quoted for prices because it seems like they up the charges at time of check out.

I personally had an amazing experience with Dr Saini and his expertise in ear cropping. We wanted a subtle look and that’s exactly what we got if not better than expected. Recovery was quick and smooth. Thank you Dr. Saini and his staff for the outstanding care to our big boy Bo.

Our dog got sick: lost weight, appetite, took em there for a check up and they charged my dad more than $1k just for testing.
Even after some time after the tests, my dog is getting worse and can barely walk now.
I told my dad I had seen the dog drink water from the stagnant swimming pool and to request some antibiotics. They told my dad that it would cost an additional $2k for more testing and refused to give him any medication, even after having already paid $1k.
Updated 4/14/24:
My dog died later the day I posted my review, I've been coping with the loss. I had thought that my dog would recover from this, so this is very tough to take. I couldn't save my dog.
In the name of my beloved Winston: if you love your pet, drain your swimming pool if not being maintained and turned green in color.
For this veterinarian: next time you see a dog or cat in that condition, it's from drinking tanked water. Have medicine on hand for this and don't charge people for useless testing and don't waste critical time.

I would leave a zero star if I was able to my husband who has a serious learning disability (but functions to do simple tasks) brought un our 2 fogs for rabis vaccines. When we initially book we also needed health cert because we wer flying the dogs to canada. Plans changed and one of our dogs was to big to fly upon bringing the dogs in to the clinic my husband was already flustered running late so he handed the phone off to the receptionist. I explained we wernt flying that we wer driving instead and no longer needed the certificates only the vaccines. I went into detail on what a pain it's been trying to get these dogs home and she REPEATED "ok only the shots the the certificates ". Fast forward to later that evening in looking at the paper work that he was waiting for "because their computer wasn't working" they went ahead and didn't up health certificates for both dogs at 125$ a piece. 470$ for 1 rabies vax is un believable! When I called to try rectify I was told I would get a call back in 30 mins. The next day I called again and spoke with the doctor who proceeded to argue with me that he spoke to all his staff and no one was told only the vaccines.
So apparently I'm a liar.
This is a money grabbing shady buisness who takes advantage of people with disabilities. Now I have to contact my credit card company to get my money back for a service that wasn't authorized.

We went to this vet for our puppy to get her shots. They gave us conflicting information throughout the process, at one point we were told she had 6 weeks left of shots, went in again 2 weeks later and they said she was finished. After her rabies vaccine we realized they never gave us her tag, called them to ask about it and they said they stopped giving those out (not all vets just them.) They did not call us to remind us about appointments, and we felt rushed through their process with little to no help about questions we had about her constant itching. Due to this confusion we will be finding a new vet and having them double check her vaccine history.

Had a great experience with Dr Saini and his knowledge with ear cropping. I wanted a subtle look, Dr Saini listened and gave me his expert opinion to my specific dogs breed. He exceeded our expectations. Thank you to Dr Saini and staff.

The best vet we've found in the Bay! My highest recommendation! Their bedside manner is excellent. Everything is explained thoroughly and all my questions were answered. We've had to use 5 vets including in Emeryville, Fremont, and Santa Clara and they were the best experience.
