“Lassen Landing is just to a few businesses, the one I frequent is Higher Ground Coffee: you can't go wrong with a great "cup o Joe", though my favorite choices are either the Mexican Mocha or the Cold Brew coffee over ice. You can also find some GREAT scones here (baked fresh daily), breakfast sandwiches and bowls - just about anything you might need to go with your cup of "pick me up" to get you through the day. The staff are very pleasant and engaging. I'm not a weekly regular, but I'm constantly surprised by the details the staff remember about their customers, which brings me to the idea that I encourage each and every one of you to support small independent businesses. The level of quality of service that comes from these businesses is second to none; and Higher Ground Coffee is an excellent example of exemplary commitment to service and product.”
