Caring, thorough, professional and personable care from vets and staff. Dr. Hoff makes sure all options and outcomes available are understood and that my cats best health and happiness is the top priority. My pets and I feel welcomed and well taken care of at Millville Vet Clinic.

Lost my 8 yr old McNab, with no answers from my vet of 35 years. So Millville is a new vet for me. Friendly staff, beautiful campus, did a complete work up on my girl for me just to make sure all was good with her, after losing her brother. They also tried to help me figure out ways to get her to eat, (as she's been sad) and trimmed her nails. They were patient and took time to answer all of my questions. I left feeling very comfortable with my choice.

Worst veterinary clinic I've ever been too. Never been treated so poorly or bad a vet that had such a disregard for the animals well-being in their care. Vet was rude, aggressive and unprofessional. Paid for test to be completed but vet refused to explain results. Was also sent home with medicine without clear instructions or explanation to what it is. I was also there for almost four hours and still left without answers or clarity to the services performed. Would rather drive an hour to Chico if I have to than come here. Do what is best for your pet and go somewhere else because they are not about your pets well being here. We were treated like a nameless profit cow in a dairy line. It's obvious they are about the money and not the animals.

A vet that actually knows about chickens! And doesn't treat you like you're weird for loving them. Wonderful.

We have gone to Millville Veterinary Clinic for over 25 years now. They have seen me do the "ugly cry" more than once when while holding my dog when putting them to sleep. We got a very nice card in the mail from the clinic signed by ten of the employees, including the doctor who was the one who gave our dog, Emma Lou, the final injection last week when we had her put to sleep. Each person wrote a personalized note. The vet was the sweetest guy. He was young, probably around 30 years old, and very empathetic and soft spoken. I saw him the time before when we were trying to figure out what to do to relieve Emma of some of her pain and I was glad he was the one there with me last weekend. We go to Millville Vet because of the small-town family atmosphere and the way they treat us every time we are there. We started going there in 1995 with our first dog, Misty, a yellow lab. We lived in Shingletown at the time and the vet from Millville had a clinic day one day per week in Shingletown so that is how we started seeing him. We have lived back in south Redding since 2003 but have continued to drive the extra distance to go there because we know they take great care of our fur babies. If you are looking for a vet, I could not recommend anyone above them. You will not be disappointed and will feel the care and concern of all who work there.

I guess since everyone is staying home they are notice how broke down all their 4 leggers are getting! Thanks to Milville they are all here running around like crazy making sure to help us all out. I have 3 doggos & they have us pull up to the front of their building. Then we call or honk & they come out to get them from the car. Millville Veterinary Clinic really has their act together amid the COVID-19 shut down. Thank you to all the staff that's out here working so hard! Again, a class act out here!

I took my new puppy here just for a check up! The girls at the front desk were so accommodating and friendly. The doctor was fantastic and very patient with me (as I had a lot of questions as a first time dog owner). All in all, the experience was great and I'm so happy to have found a permanent vet for my puppers

All of the vets here are fantastic. Sometimes there may be a wait but emergencies do happen. And they don't insist on $500 worth of lab tests every time you go in. I have some feral cats I'm working to TNR and they always get me in for spay or neutering.

We are so incredibly grateful to your entire staff. We brought our sweet Jefferson to you last Saturday to figure out what was wrong with him and why he had stopped eating and appeared so sick. After staying late for the lab results to come back, you helped us with a diagnosis. He worsened overnight and we knew it was time for him to go so we took him to Asher on Sunday to say goodbye. My husband canceled his follow up appointment on Monday morning. You were so incredibly kind and treated Jefferson as if he was your own doggie. My husband said you were so sad for us that we had to let him go. Then today we received the most incredible gift in the mail. A sympathy card signed by your whole staff with the sweetest sentiments. Truly amazing gift to our family. Thank you so very much for being so wonderful.

We've been taking our pets to Millville for several years now. We've seen different doctors there, but the last few times we've seen Dr Lawson. It is very clear she cares about our pets as if they were her own. She's very thorough and informative. Thank you for caring for my baby!

Fairly good doctors but it seems like all they want to do is get you to spend money. Definitely beware of them trying to sell you something. When my cat was sick I was told he was likely stressed from a move and a new cat in the house. First I was told he didn't think it was respiratory. He wanted to do blood tests and xrays because he thought it was a stomach issue. After I refused because he was definitely coughing up mucus and had runny eyes, I was talked into purchasing to purchasing a pheromone plug-in that was supposed to calm the cat down. I broke down and purchased it for about $70. I looked on Amazon and they had the same exact thing for $29.99. Marked up more than twice as much. It didn't really help my cat. He continued to cough up mucus for about 2 weeks after the vet visit. I can't recommend this vet because of these seemingly shady practices.

I love the vets and the staff here. Have a 3 yr old dog newly diagnosed with a heart condition. More than likely hereditary due to the breed. He was started on meds as soon as it was confirmed and then they also recommended for him to have a consult at UCD cardiology clinic. They will continue to be involved in his care. For example at UCD he has to be sedated due to his size regardless of his temperament. Did not do well after sedation. Millville vets agreed to do his films and send them down before we leave the morning of next UCD appt. Dr Bieder(sp) has been awesome about calling and checking to see how he is doing. She really cares. The other vets we have seen are great as well. Highly recommend them.

I have been a customer at this vet for at least 30 years. The straw that broke the camels back so to speak was when the office manager (their son David) told me to check with my bank on a credit card reversal, instead of saying I,ll check with my people to see if it was applied. He then hit my wife up for a balance of 51 dollars that we owed for a procedure that the vet was not sure was complete and we were coming back in 2-3 days to make sure all was right. My wife asked about the cost of the meds we were given our dog and was then told we could have the meds at internet prices. Excuse me I've been paying higher costs for meds for many years and now I'm told I could have been paying many dollars less. The vet who took care of our dogs was Jennifer and she did a good job, but the letter I received from her was a insult at best. After 30 years I was sent a form letter, no mention of us going to a different vet and that they were sorry we were leaving. The service did not run us off, it was the customer service or lack of that drove us off,David does not now how to handle customers, and I should know as I ran a heating and air company in Redding for over 30 years. Norvin Gandolph Enterprise heating and air. (Retired)
