Vennu has been an incredible experience for me and my wife. They offer a wide variety of classes at different skill levels and different types of practices, but more importantly, they serve as a community hub and really brings together every person that walks through the doors. They remember and celebrate birthdays, check in on you during and after classes, and overall just are a supportive and welcoming team. The space is accommodating, with clean equipment for everyone to use, and the instructors are patient and helpful. The owner Leila in particular is very sociable and helpful. She makes sure that you’re having a great experience as a Vennu member. So glad that Vennu is a part of Millbrae!

Long over due review. This is the best studio ever. I have been a member since the beginning days and have enjoyed each and every class I've attended. There is always something new to look forward to and it is the perfect studio to relax, unwind, have fun & catch up all while working on yourself. The owner, Leila, is a solid visionary who always finds a way to keep the studio alive with new and exciting classes. This is the reason I keep coming back, thank you VENNU Studio for making a difference in our community!

Brilliant business model. Wide variety of classes and evening pop ups are terrific! I've been looking for a studio and community like this one for a very long time.

Such a cute yoga spot! My friend had booked a private session for her birthday and it was perfect for a group of 10~ girls. The class and instructor gave us a really good "beginners" flow yoga. It was slightly heated and we were sweating but definitely being stretched out in the best way. I'd definitely recommend this place for yoga and for private events.

I have been coming here for a few months. It is a bit out of the way for me as I live in the Mission District. However, the rates, the quality of the class and trainers are what keeps me coming. The studio is located in quaint Millbrae and there is ample parking. I love how clean it is inside and have compared to other yoga studios that were just downright unsanitary. Vennu Yoga is sanitized and I do feel very clean when I enter and exit. Their equipment is always clean when I use it. The bathroom is also extremely clean. I love how unorthodox some of the classes are, great music selections and it truly is a vibe! The only drawbacks would be that one cannot use restroom until class is over (If you are in the main room area waiting to begin a class while one is in session, then this would only be an issue. However, if you are currently in a class, you may use the restroom as much as you like), as bathroom is located beyond the exercise room and would cause a disturbance. Also, the classes get packed so most often than not, a class will reach its full capacity. I guess that's a good thing though lol! But yes, they're pretty popular so book asap. 5 stars overall!

I am living my best life right now because of Vennu. I have been going here 4-5x week for over 4 months now and love it. Coming here has helped me mentally and physically. I love the community and have made lots of new friends. The instructors are awesome and so many options for classes. The owner goes above and beyond for us. I am so grateful for Vennu.

I hosted a private yoga session for a bunch of my girlfriends who have various experience levels. Leila was easy to work with in setting up for the event and offered a lot of flexibility/accommodations. You name it, and she can probably make it happen! The venue is beautiful! Definitely will host more events here in the future!

I have been practicing at VENNU since March 2022. I love this place! It is more than just a yoga studio: it also offer Pilates and massage sessions. The owner does a great job in bringing people together: she organize various celebrations and events so that people can be connected within the community. She also listens: she listens to what instructors and students need and be as accommodating as possible ( we want a fan in the room and it was installed within days!!) She also tries her best to make her classes as fun as possible by introducing different themes . I am a huge hot yoga fan and I come here mostly the early morning yoga classes so I can't say for all classes. I love Deb's class and she is the best hot yoga teacher ever It is a cozy studio and it can get crowded at times. Don't expect you will get 6 feet spaces between mats as you will not. Most yogi and yogini are respectful - What you do in the room can affect others in the room too!

** Update: I was on time despite the owners claim. I showed the time on my watch to her and the class was not started yet. In fact she was herself in the class when I got there (she has to leave the room before the class starts). It is always the client's mistake as she cannot take ownership of her mistakes. I will start on beyoga starting next week which is a few blocks away. Hopefully I won't have to get into these conversations and fight for a spot. Especially when she takes the liberty to over book me. **Kerstin the instructor that I have been going to in the past 8 months or so is amazing and 5 Star. I give 2 stars for the studio itself. It started as a 5 star but over time it has gotten over crowded. The mats are set so close that you will not have enough space to move. In my last visit (and I have been a regular for 9 months) the owner Leila told me that I have to do yoga in front of the entrance door small aisle since she gave my spot to someone on the wait list (despite the fact that I was on time). I looked at her in shock as it was a tiny space. I gave it a shot anyway but I kept hitting the shelf in the back or get in the way of the person in front of me. So I had to leave midway and since the owner was not there I left her two emails describing my frustration that no one deserves that spot. I told her that if there is not a guarantee that I will not be assigned to that spot in the future this studio would not be the right fit for me and I should get reimbursed. She reimbursed me that night after saying that she is very great and I am judging based on one experience (so no understanding of my frustration and accepting her mismanagement in overbooking the spots). In any case, clearly they do not need new customers. Especially, if you are looking to truly unwind and have a relaxing yoga experience, I cannot recommend this overly packed studio.

The space is super nice and calming. The instructors are very sweet and push you to be your best. The people and staff were welcoming. I really enjoyed my class, and got me excited for my next class. The hot yoga was beginner friendly, but still was an amazing workout. The owner was super friendly and inviting, and loves her customers!

I have been going to Vennu for the last year and love it. The owner, Leyla is very hardworking, caring, and goes above and beyond for her students. Diana, Deb, and Alisa are amazing teachers for the hot yoga classes. Vennu offers several types of yoga classes. I have met so many wonderful/quality people here. This studio is a stress free place where I go to unwind. 10/10 recommend!

Can't believe I found such an amazing studio. The studio is an amazing space that is clean, welcoming, and a great place to meet other yogis. The owner, Leila, and all the instructors are super friendly and nice. It was my first time back at hot yoga in a few years and Alisa was amazing. She took the time to walk me through some modifications before class, which I really appreciated. Alisa really made me fall back in love with hot yoga. Thank you! Then I discovered the other types of yoga classes that Vennu offered. Kerstin is a great yoga instructor and I love the different classes she teaches and she mixes it up by having themed classes too. Never know what to expect, but always look forward to an exciting workout. And the best part of the studio is Leila. She is super nice, welcoming and patient in answering all my questions when I first signed up. She is always coming up with new pop-up classes and wellness services for students. Love the variety of self-care services available. Thank you Leila for creating such a great space and an awesome community. Can't wait to see what you do next with Vennu.

f you ever get to the bad side of the owner, she will hold the grudges against you, make sure you feel miserable until either you quit, or she terminates your acct. Below is a mesg I got from the owner after walking out of an Extremely boring class for you to judge it yourself:"As of today, I terminated your account from the studio. Walking out of a class and saying that this class is boring is a disrespect towards my instructor. I told you the last time do not disrespect any of my instructors and I gave you a few chances. You're no longer welcome to my studio You continue to fail at learning how to respect people's time. All your classes are canceled and find yourself another studio."Background here: that was a hip hop class on Dec 6, 2022, the teacher does not know how to teach AT ALL. For 30mins, we learnt only less than 5 moves, in the end, students improvised. It was a huge waste of more than 15 people's one precious hour in their life! Having someone who does not know how to teach is humiliating/insult to people's time, so I left, and I heard later on some other people did so also. I dont know if their acct was terminated also. Here are some other things:-It was my first time trying hot yoga, and I was so exited, so I said hi to everyone upon entering the class, and I was called out some people might be meditating, fine, I followed the instructions. -I did not enjoy doing certain poses that were either hard for me, or I think I could modify for better stretches for my own personal need, I was called out again. Fine, that is okay. However, the owner clearly told all the instructors and I was on the blacklist:One weekend morning I came to a morning class, the instructor called me out upon my entry:"Hi, you must be Lina, we need to have some discussions before you take my class!" During the session, she called my names loud for more than 20 times probably. How would you, a reader feel if you are in that class? And when I emailed politely to ask for a refund, this is what I got back:"You do not need to call, email or text the studio to follow up. The refund will return."Some other things I dont like about the place:Very small studio w limited space, and even the hallway would fill w people when there is a popular classes! Another big inconvenience is a pilates class you've been looking forward to may be changed out to slow yoga just a few hours before it starts, you dont know it until you get there, and you can't cancel the class within 2 hours before it starts! What a waste of time! There are a lot of good things about this place too, I'd have to say:A lot of amazing instructors, the owner did put a lot efforts in making the environment more friendly, also by running happy hour events, their no late policy is good. However, overall, terrible, terrible, personal attacking, nightmare experience! Those who are new beginners, who are not strict learners, you may want to be cautious!

Loved taking Kasey's hot pilates classes here! Kasey is so sweet, energetic, and she gives you room to do whatever your body is feeling up for that day. The studio is clean, modern, and they always have equipment if you want to try something out before committing (like ankle weights). I'm sad they're not on ClassPass anymore (but I understand)
