I took my 2 dogs here for 2 years because it was on the way to my kid's school. The experience is okay, but it was convenient. The nail trim is poor and I tolerated. However, my dog started breaking his nails and it caused him to limp. I brought to Nelson's attention how one busy day the dogs were still covered in hair after the grooming and that their nails were too long. He proceeded to tell me it took 30 minutes to clean up after my dogs, and explained to me why the nails cannot get trimmed shorter. Poor customer services and poor work.

I have taken my dog to Nelson twice now and his grooming has been the best that my thirteen year old dog has ever gotten. After 3 weeks his coat is still shiny and soft! He has made my senior dog quite handsome. I highly recommend Le Chien Fortune.

Thankful Nelson took us in last minute. Not at all happy with the haircut at all and how it was handled with attitude. I understand it's upsetting someone not liking your work but if the work was done correct I wouldn't have to complain. I have attached a reference photo and the outcome. Not pictured clearly is how his tail looks like Pom Pom, uneven hair on the legs & the fluff left on the back of his head. I have also attached the slightly attitude filled message. My boyfriend should've said something at pick up so upset with the outcome

Always a great experience! Nelson is very responsive via text and I've never had an issue scheduling a bath. La Chien Fortune is decently priced. I usually drop my dog off around 8am for a bath and we pick him up around 11am. He always smells soooo good. Nelson was very attentive and saw that our dog was getting skinnier, which alerted us to see a vet. He gave us different tips on how to brush out his coat. Although we have moved, we still drive all the way out to Millbrae. I also love the reminder texts!

Nelson is the best! Le Chien Fortune is the most efficient and professional grooming store in San Bruno. I have been taking my Pomeranian Bichon to Nelson for a year. Not once have I seen any irritation or scrape after a groom. Always meet my expectations. I actually got a referral to Le Chien from Tanforan target random dog owner. Lucky me to have excellent experience with Le Chien Fortune. The pricing is reasonable and wonderful care for my little Icy.

Highly recommend. We started going to Le Chien Fortune almost a year ago and they're now our go-to. Our Shih-tzu always leaves looking and smelling great. Very dependable!

Nelson and his team do a great job with our dog Luna! She comes back from her baths smelling wonderful, nails trimmed, anal glands expressed, and her coat is shiny and soft. The price for the bath package is super reasonable especially compared to places in SF.

My dog loves Nelson and his team. They are extremely patient, gentle, and kind. Although my dog is anxious about baths and being blow-dried, she's comfortable with the caring team. Always a positive experience for both pet and owner. A personal friend highly recommended Le Chien and I'm glad they did.

Where do you even start with Nelson and his team! They are so kind, and knowledgeable, and I can tell my puppies were very happy in his care. When I brought them in they were dirty and matted... first time dog owner so I didn't know where to start with grooming but le chien truly knew what to do to make them shine and smell so sweet. Nelson took his time getting every mat out and then showed me which brush would be best since I didn't have the right brush which I was able to buy from him which made it easy for me. Just overall we got a very warm and positive vibe from Nelson and his salon and my family will be back for grooming again. Pricing was good to for what I paid I got more than I could imagine two happy clean fluffy little snowballs. Thank you again Nelson and team!

Nelson is great. Friends of mine recommended him and I can see why. He took care of our dog Watson and returned him looking more handsome than ever. He gave me a lot of advice on daily care and brushing. He wants to work with you and build a relationship rather than just run an operation to make money. Thank you Nelson and his family!
